We had an amazing time at Knotty Pine! The house was cozy and had everything we needed. We picked the location for its proximity to the river with an excellent outdoor fireplace and hot tub that would allow us to enjoy the view while relaxing. It did not disappoint! The indoor fireplace threw off lots of heat and allowed us to stay so warm and cozy. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and loved exploring and hiking in the surrounding area. Thanks for another awesome stay, Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals!

Words can't express how much we loved our stay at Knotty Pine. Waking up to the river view every morning was a wonderful way to start each day. Our son spent countless hours playing in the river. He bounced between swimming, fishing, and freshwater snorkeling right off the steps. It felt like we were so alone as we watched the ospreys catch fish, yet the grocery store (with a Starbucks) was only 12 minutes away. We've been on several family vacations, but this was the first time we have all left with tears in our eyes because we just didn't want to go home. Knotty Pine is amazing and Blue Ridge Rentals has been fantastic to work with. We'll definitely be back!

The most beautiful spot I've ever booked! Very private and quiet. I had so much fun on the river and enjoyed relaxing on the balcony. I would totally recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the knotty Pine cabin. My husband fished out front on the new river each morning and we roasted marshmallows by the outdoor fireplace each night. Not to mention there is a hot tub overlooking the river. We will definitely come back again! One fun highlight of the trip was tubing from the cabin for two hours and ending at the Elk Shoals New River State Park where we parked our car.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy family time. Easy walking access to the river and in a private area. Hot tub and fire place area are a perfect addition. Super clean and very comfortable beds.

Knotty Pine was an amazing rental! It was 4 of us - 2 adults and 2 kids, 10 and 12 years old. Beautiful cabin right on the river and in the middle of the mountains. Incredibly clean and well stocked. The king bed was super comfortable! We spent every evening in the hot tub next to the outdoor fireplace. Quiet and peaceful, but also close to the town of West Jefferson (only about 10 minutes away and super cute!). We drove up to Damascus, Va to bike ride the Creeper Trail and hiked some of the cabin's recommended local trails. Also shopped and ate in West Jefferson - Boondocks Brewery had wonderful food and beer and loved shopping at the Emporium. Definitely recommend 4 wheel drive or all wheel drive in case of rain or snow. We enjoyed everything about this rental and would definitely return!

Absolutely amazing.... Perfect location everything you need or want very close but very secluded home. The house is wonderful and very well stocked. The view is spectacular with a very nice river access. Housekeeping does a fantastic job and there are a lot of little things to get you through a night or two if needed. Kitchen has very nice appliances! We have always been very pleased with Blueridge Mountain Rentals. Love everything ?? will be renting this home again.

what a diverse oasis! tucked in its own space without wanting to desire to leave, because you DO NOT HAVE TO! what you need is there! this is where you want to go for a hard restart. the weather wasn't against us, time wasn't against us. we will be back! thank you for being fido friendly! we loved the river!

Ok, this house is lovely. Pictures are very accurate. Super clean. Very quiet and relaxing spot with the sound of the river and view from the hot tub. Would love to return.

Incredible location. Very relaxing and peaceful. Stayed with my husband, our 5 year old son and our Golden retriever, the house was super clean and comfortable. Great communication from the property management. Would highly recommend this special place.

Absolutely beautiful escape reality. Cozy weekend filled with romantic fires, hot tub evenings after long breathtaking hikes with our pets and morning sightings of wildlife in and around the mesmerizing creek. We were lucky enough to have the whole area to ourselves. Wonderful!

Beautiful cabin above a small river, keep your eyes open and you might see an otter or two. We had an extended stay due to bad weather. The owners of the cabin went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They were two of the kindest people I have ever met. The cabin has everything you need, washer/dryer, good Wi-Fi, hot tub, fireplace, and it's pet friendly. We would be happy to rent here again.

This house was absolutely perfect. We went when there was about 12 inches of snow on the ground and it felt like we were the only people in the neighborhood. It was the perfect getaway. I can't wait to come back in the spring/summer.

We enjoyed this little piece of Heaven and will definitely go back. We enjoyed the view, hot tub, walks, making a fire and just relaxing with a cocktail. The Cascade Falls are close by for a beautiful hike and we went to the Cheese Company and learned how cheese was made. There is a lot of shopping downtown if you prefer that. We loved our stay and highly recommend.

This house provided an experience unlike any other and there is truly something for everyone to enjoy. The location gave a sense of solitude and remoteness with no sounds other than the trickle of the river and the rustling of animals. However, with a short drive into town you are met with great dining, fun shopping, and even a unique experience of visiting a cheese factory. For the adventurous you can climb the nearby Mount Jefferson or take a float down the New River right down to the house. Speaking of the house, it's fantastically renovated/designed with a modern kitchen and a cozy log cabin themed interior. The Master Bedroom is more than comfortable with its own gas furnace, king size bed, and large jacuzzi tub/shower. If that wasn't already enough the lower deck provides a hot tub directly adjacent to a wood fire place where you could spend hours listening to the river and enjoying the countless stars overhead. Our experience at Knotty Pine was unlike any other and we will certainly be returning and telling our family and friends of this hidden gem nuzzled in beautiful West Jefferson.

Amazing house with so many special touches! THE cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed in and communication with the host/owner was prompt and extremely helpful. The view of the New River from the deck was amazingly tranquil and the town of West Jefferson had all you could want without a over-crowded/touristy feel. Will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

If you are considering booking this home, just do it because you will not be disappointed. The Knotty Pine is off the beaten path, but still only 10-15 minutes to downtown West Jefferson. This home is very well appointed with everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked and the gas stove with griddle made breakfast a delight……bacon and pancakes anyone?! Having access to the washer and dryer was also very much appreciated. The multiple deck areas are absolutely gorgeous and we utilized the gas grill nightly. Morning coffee/bird watching was the perfect way to start our days. The outdoor fireplace is impressive and the hot tub added to our end of day relaxation time. We took our kayaks and launched from the house multiple times for a great float on the New River. We also brought our cornhole boards and set them up on the deck outside of the lower bedroom. Our long weekend at the Knotty Pine gave each of us time to relax, reconnect and recharge.

Delightful stay in this adorable cabin located directly on the New River. We were lucky enough to find Knotty Pine just in time to add in a little vacation after we moved our oldest son into Appalachian State. The view from the decks of the cabin are stunning! It was so relaxing to enjoy nature while drinking coffee on the deck in the mornings and sipping on a cocktail in the evenings. Also, it was a huge perk that our boys could literally walk out to the backyard and drop their kayaks in the water. They even caught a few fish in the hour that it took them to float down to The Elk Shoals Park. The hot tub on the lower deck was an added bonus, and I could only imagine how cozy it would be to sit outside in the fall around the exterior fireplace. In addition, a well appointed grocery store, Ingles, is only five miles down the road, and downtown West Jefferson is lined with cute stores and many restaurants. We enjoyed lunch outside at The Tavern, and New River Brewing was a great place to grab dinner with our boys. Knotty Pine exceeded our expectations, and we cannot wait to return!
