Our visit to Banner Elk and stay at "Reel Relaxing" was amazing. The house was magnificently decorated and the grounds were beautifully manicured. I love spending time down at Cranberry Creek which was a terrific surprise where I caught several species of trout. And the quaint little town of Banner Elk has some wonderful restaurants with plenty of cute little stores for shopping and we found a great locally owned store which sells farm raised goods and to my delight, local raised beef and lamb...yum 😋 Thank you to the owners of "Reel Relaxing" what a great getaway nestled in the mountains next to a creek. There's no doubt .......we'll be back ❤️

Cozy and convenient to the ski resorts and Grandfather mountain. The cabin is equipped with everything you'd need, and the location is safe and well managed. Thanks for hosting us, we'd visit again!

The place was great! We had everything we needed while there. The beds were comfortable as well. It was just us and our two kids and they were able to sleep right there on the little beds in the room with us which they loved! Drove across the road to enjoy the great camp as well. We are excited about the new restaurant coming.

We stayed at "Reel Relaxing." It was a beautiful cabin. The booking online and check in and out procedure was simple. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. We used the grill, hot tub, oven, and keurig. Everything worked great. The bedroom bed was comfortable and the kids loved the toe to toe twin beds. We would definitely rent again!

My husband and I celebrated our 40th anniversary and enjoyed everything about the cabin. It was clean, new and kept up beautifully. It had everything we needed for a comfortable 5 days. There is traffic you can hear if you are sitting on the porch but it didn't really bother us. I spent my afternoons reading while sitting on the comfortable porch swing. I would definitely recommend this cabin to others!

Beautiful dog friendly cabin. Luxury, stylish decor. Sofas and beds very comfortable. Loved the porch too. Highly recommend for a couple or family with small kids. Loved it and so did our fur baby!

This house was absolutely wonderful! It's beautiful, very clean (which was super important to us since we've been very cautious with Covid), and it's in a wonderful little neighborhood. Checking in was easy, they email you the gate code and house code before you arrive. I only wish we could've stayed longer, but we will definitely be back!

This was a wonderful retreat. The cabin is in a fantastic location closer to downtown Banner Elk. This cabin is very easy to access as it's just off the main road. The interior is beautifully decorated, clean and perfectly cozy!! Our family will definitely be back!

Banner Elk was a beautiful, unexpected surprise! We usually head to Santa Fe, New Mexico for the holidays but chose to stay closer to our Florida home because of Covid. We wanted to "sequester" where we would be safe from the virus, while still able to take in the unbelievable, majestic beauty in this part of our US. Much to our happiness, we experienced the true, Floridian Christmas dream of a White Christmas while enjoying our gorgeous, Reel Relaxing, one bedroom cottage with all of its comforts, including the most preciously decorated Christmas tree with other, pretty, holiday decorations throughout the place that made our stay even more endearing. A gated compound of around seven, rustic cottages, all within a stones throw to the rushing waters of the Elk River, this s a great place to stay for skiing, fishing,or for just a leisurely escape.

We had an excellent experience with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals & the House was gorgeous! We can not say enough good things about the quality of care and luxurious amenities through their services. They were courteous, helpful, and prompt with instructions on check in/out and local attractions and ideas. The home was very clean, set up perfectly with plush towels and bedding, ample toiletries and a stocked kitchen. I almost want to keep this a secret just for us since we enjoyed it so much!

This house has always been clean and comfortable for our stay . We have rented this house 4 times now and always very happy with this property . Easy access for us to meet with builders for our future retirement home here . Would highly recommend this house .
