Description
With privacy and long range mountain views, Wild Turkey Inn is a custom built luxury home for up to 14 guests. Each of the six bedrooms has a private attached bath.
Enter the main house and walk into the stunning living room. A wall of windows gives you amazing views while the large leather sectional offers a space to relax in front of the woodburning fireplace while enjoying company or watching TV. The nearby wet bar opens to the dining area, which easily seats 10 guests and has access to the deck with a built in gas grill and seating to enjoy the fresh mountain air. The kitchen has everything you could want, with a large island, Wolf gas range with double ovens, and custom cabinets. Off of the kitchen is a hallway to the half bath, the first laundry room, and access to the garage. Two King Bedrooms are on the main level, each a mirror image of the other. They both feature king sized beds, deck access, and a master bath with large tiled showers and double granite vanities.
Upstairs in the main house is the third Master King. This bathroom has a tiled tub/shower combination and a granite vanity. The movie room is upstairs with four reclining theater seats and a 70"+ TV. The fourth bedroom in the main house is just past the movie room. This room has two sets of twin over twin bunks. The full bathroom can be accessed separately from the bunk room, but can also be shut off from the hallway for privacy of the bunk room guests.
To the left of the garage is the guest house. Level entry leads you to the laundry/mud room. Pass through, and you'll find a second kitchen of equal caliber, but scaled down for a two bedroom home. The open concept kitchen, dining, and living room has a second wood burning fireplace and leather sectional. Deck access is provided, as well. The fifth bedroom at Wild Turkey Inn is a fourth Master King with a tiled tub/shower and granite topped vanity. The final bedroom has two twin beds. It leads into the sixth full bath with a tiled tub/shower combo and granite topped vanity, which also opens to the dining area.
Outside is a gently sloping mountainside with solid steps and railing leading down to a rock-lined fire pit. Large log benches surround it for seating. There is also a brand new hot tub on the deck overlooking the stunning mountain views! The gravel parking lot can easily accommodate 6+ vehicles, plus the 2 car garage.
Pets are welcome for an additional rent of $25/night each dog plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
Additional Notes:
- Guest do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsmans Lodge or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking, or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You'll get two wrapped bundles of kiln dried wood and a firestarter for $25/night.
- The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests are more than welcome to attend however, in the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsmans Lodge.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Please note that the community of Eagles Nest has construction going on. Due to how sound travels, during weekdays you may hear heavy vehicles traveling on the development's roads.
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATV's. For information about ATV rentals please visit: Off Road Adeventures website.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception
- This property has 7 visible exterior security cameras, 4 of which monitor its perspective side of the house, 2 monitor the primary entryways, and 1 monitors the parking area. No cameras are pointed toward the interior of the home or at the hot tub for your privacy.
CANCELLATION POLICY -
Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 59 days of the arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

The Wild Turkey Inn was beautiful. It was just like the pictures. What a great layout for our family vacation! The amenities in Eagles Nest were also fantastic. We had an issue with the dishwasher and a technician arrived in less than 30 minutes. Great communication from Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals in all aspects of the process. The property views are awesome. The home was very comfortable for 8 adults and 3 children. We did see a bear on the property two of the seven days we stayed. We kept our distance and the bear went away with no problems. Things we enjoyed, hiking, playground for kids, disc golf, Linville Falls Winery, Grandfather mountain, Mast General Store. We travel with several families every year to different mountain areas, and we are pretty picky about the quality of the cabin. The Wild Turkey Inn not only met all of our requirements, but sent a new precedent that will be hard to top. The cabin was perfectly decorated, and we really liked having some drywall instead of the very dark, all-wood cabin walls. Having king bed suites for all the adults is a must. The rooms are so spread out, we would text in the morning rather than go to someone's door. The cabin is so large that the early risers never bothered the late sleepers. The sheets were so nice that one of our party wanted the name of the brand. We loved having two kitchens, two laundry stations, two dens, a fire pit area, a wet bar with an ice maker -so many extra amenities! But, the best part of Wild Turkey is the property. We were lucky enough to get snow for two days, and it was magical. We're from Florida, and we all made some beautiful core memories, especially our children. We rented the ATVs for two days, and the husbands had the time of their lives! The beauty of Eagles Nest, even just driving over the mountain to the main gate, is something of postcards. Wild Turkey Inn had absolutely everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away with friends! The location was fantastic at the top of the mountain with incredible views, the kitchen was very well stocked, the bedrooms are spacious, and the heated bathroom floors were the icing on the cake! Beautiful house. Upon arrival we were greeted by a family of black bears which made our trip extra special. :) We really enjoyed our time here and had a blast on the porch with the fire pit.
