Whispering Creek at Eagles Nest

Welcome to Whispering Creek at Eagles Nest, a peaceful mountain retreat perfectly located just 10 minutes from downtown Banner Elk. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the High Country, this inviting home offers comfort, privacy, and scenic views, with the gentle sound of a nearby creek softly whispering in the background when you spend time outdoors, true to the home’s name.

The main level features an open living space designed for gathering, with a cozy living room offering a gas log fireplace, a TV, and ample seating for everyone. The well appointed kitchen includes granite countertops, a spacious island, and bar seating with four stools, flowing seamlessly into the dining area with a dining table ideal for shared meals and memorable evenings. A private king en suite is also located on the main level, providing convenient single level living.

Upstairs, you will find three additional ensuite bedrooms, including two king suites and a bunk room with a twin over queen bunk, perfect for kids or extra guests. Each bedroom features its own private bathroom, ensuring comfort and space for all guests. In the loft is a foosball table to enjoy!

Outdoor living is a highlight at Whispering Creek. The expansive deck showcases beautiful views and includes a covered area with a gas log fireplace, TV, and comfortable seating, along with a high top table for four. Relax in the hot tub or follow the steps down to the firepit below, where evenings are best spent enjoying the mountain air, crackling fire, and the soothing sounds of the creek nearby.

Eagles Nest Winery day passes are available onsite for $25.00 each
HOURS: Thur & Fri 4p-10p; Sat 2p-10p; Sun 2p-8p. (Please verify hours directly with the winery, as times may vary seasonally.)
Please note that all visitors on premises at the Winery must be 16 years or older, with the exception of Sundays.  This is strictly enforced. 
Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

Additional Notes:
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets to this home.
- Firewood for the outdoor firepit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night. 
- Eagles Nest is an up-and-coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but AWD/4WD is needed, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months. The driveway is paved, and slopes down to the home.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Guests are responsible for supplying all their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests.  More information and a schedule are found at eaglesnestatbannerelk (dot) com.
- Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- Returning guests of this home may receive a 5% discount upon verification of prior visit, not to be stacked with other discounts. 
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

-CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings cancelled with a 30+ day notice will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings cancelled between 15-29 days will receive half of their deposit back. Bookings cancelled with 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless your dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
