We liked how well it was equipped for children; our girls made good use of all the books, toys and games.
The welcome binders had very good suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Was too cold for us during our stay but we also appreciated having tubes available to us if we wanted to go in the river.

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was the most peaceful place and the river next to it was beautiful and great to swim and tube in. The cabin had everything one would need and we enjoyed being able to use the tubes and kayak. I would definitely stay again just for the location. My only complaint was the cleanliness. The bathrooms were not as clean as I would prefer, but it was some of the best times with my family. We hope to come back again. Thank you so much!

First I will say that we have always had good-great experience when renting privately owned properties for family getaways. Yet sadly I'm not the best about leaving reviews, even though I love reading others reviews. When we saw that our most recent getaways in Sugar Grove, NC was managed by a rental company, I must say that I was a little skeptical. We're on our way to the property and realized that we hadn't received our keyless entry code yet and received a call in less than 5 minutes after we emailed them. Great, right? Unfortunately, we experienced some inclement weather (it is the mountains of NC) and family that was traveling with us ended up sliding down the driveway and down a embankment, rolling the vehicle once. We were blessed that they all walked away and all was uninjured except my SIL with a broken wrist. We reached out to the rental company to explain the situation; at the hospital most of the night, vehicle was still in the ditch awaiting a tow company and the driveway was extremely dangerous considering the weather event. My wife exchanged countless emails with staff with the company, and also received a phone call to check on everyone. They were more than accommodating in telling us to be in no rush to checkout, the check-out cleaning was delayed, etc. I can't speak to other properties that they manage, but I can speak to their business practices and heartfelt efforts of staff. Not only will we consider this same property when traveling to this area again, but we'll also consider other properties that they manage because of the level of Customer Service that they exhibited. Thank you to their staff, as it was greatly appreciated!

The house was just right for our family of 7. We enjoyed the waterfall/ swimming hole “Trash Can Falls”. It’s just a couple of minutes away. We spent a lot of time on the front porch playing games and just using the rocking chairs. The driveway is steep but we got used to it. Definitely recommend this home.

This cabin was perfectly equipped for a family stay! Location was private while also being within a half hour of ample shopping/ activities. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. We left very impressed! *The driveway was very steep - something to take note of prior to arrival. Once you're acclimated, however, it is quite manageable

We (two adults plus two toddlers) stayed here with an additional friend for a ski weekend. It was one of the best rental properties I’ve stayed at! There was a bit of a hiccup with the heating and the host went to great lengths to get it fixed as soon as possible! Families with young children: this was the most “toddler safe” rental we’ve ever stayed at - minimal large unmounted furniture, no scary stairs, working smoke detectors in every bedroom (shocking that this is such a rarity at rentals, but psyched to find them here), etc. Even has a playroom full of toys! 10/10 recommend!
