Located in the sought-after Vineyard Reserve, Viking View offers sweeping long-range mountain views that stretch into four states. This beautifully designed home combines rustic elegance with thoughtful comfort, perfect for a luxurious mountain escape. The spacious great room features a cozy gas fireplace, a large TV, and a U-shaped sectional ideal for gathering with family and friends. The dining area comfortably seats ten at the table, while the oversized kitchen island—with seating for three—doubles as a perfect space for meal prep and casual conversation.

On the main level, you'll find a stunning king ensuite designed for relaxation, complete with a TV, ceiling fan, and direct access to the deck. The spa-like bathroom features a soaking tub, a tiled shower, double granite vanities, and indulgent heated floors. Upstairs, there are two additional king ensuites—one with a tiled shower and the other with a tiled tub/shower combination—each offering comfort and privacy. A spacious hallway leading to one wing includes charming built-in twin beds, perfect for extra guests or little adventurers.

The lower level expands the living space with a cozy second den, complete with a gas fireplace, large sofa, and flatscreen TV. An air hockey table adds a fun, competitive touch, while the nearby wet bar ensures refreshments are always within reach. A full bathroom on this level adds convenience, and the custom bunkroom—featuring two queen-over-queen built-in beds—serves as a fun and comfortable retreat. This room includes a private TV and an attached bathroom with a tiled shower and granite countertops.

Outdoor living at Viking View is truly unmatched. Each deck showcases the breathtaking views and features its own TV and gas fireplace, offering ideal spaces for relaxation year-round. The beautifully landscaped yard below includes a private hot tub and a firepit—perfect for stargazing nights and mountain memories.

Please note all visitors on premise at winery must be 16 years or older.  This is strictly enforced. 

Guest do not have access to the locked off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

 Additional Notes:
- This property is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets to this home.
- The North Pavilion is host to several summer parties including a Fourth of July celebration and concerts which guests are more than welcome to attend however, in the event there is a wedding or other private party, guests are not allowed in or near the Sportsmans Lodge.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains will be necessary to access this home in winter months. The driveway is steep with gravel for traction.
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Eagles Nest is an up and coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- Guests are not allowed to bring their own ATV's. For information about ATV rentals please visit: offroadadventuresnc
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there may be an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- All linens and towels provided for your stay.
- All Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- The front door has a Ring-style security camera. No cameras monitor the interior or decks.
- Guests returning to Viking View may receive a discount of 5% to the room rent, not to be combined with other discounts to the rent.
- Firewood for the outdoor firepit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You'll receive two bundles of firewood for $25/night plus tax.

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
