The Outside Inn at The Lodges at Eagles Nest! This stunning home is perched at nearly 5,000 ft. of elevation on a very secluded 5+ acre homesite and looks out on to 180 degree panoramic mountain views, featuring sunrises over Grandfather Mountain and sunsets over Roan Mountain. The Outside Inn is the embodiment of sophisticated architecture paired with refined interior design. Put simply, this entire property is a pure work of art unto itself. The owners spent nearly a year carefully selecting the land, which offered the exact combination of views, elevation, privacy and space they wanted. They then engaged with multiple architects to painstakingly create a home design that was both extraordinary looking from the outside, yet functional and comfortable on the inside.

The Outside Inn at The Lodges at Eagles Nest is located just minutes from the charming town of Banner Elk. Featuring a wide variety of noted gourmet restaurants and excellent specialty and upscale boutiques, Banner Elk is a destination all its own. Here each season brings with it something spectacular, from our cool air and outdoor activities in the summer, to our incredible fall foliage, to great skiing during the winter. Banner Elk is also home to Lees-McRae College and its wonderful summer theater program, as well as numerous athletic events for spectators throughout the year.

Guests do not have access to the locked-off portion of the Sportsman’s Lodge, the Fitness Center, or the Wine & Cigar Bar. That is for member use only.

Additional Notes:
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets to this home.
- Please note that this home is equipped with many valuable and breakable items. The home is not child-proofed.
- Firewood may be added at the time of booking under "Additional Fees" after entering payment info or by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a Firestarter for $25/night.
- Eagles Nest is an up-and-coming community, with construction currently going on in several of its neighborhoods. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in winter months. 
- All stays at Eagles Nest homes have an additional amenity fee in order to maintain the luxurious facilities and features in the development.
- Guests are responsible for supplying their own recreational equipment (basketballs, soccer balls, tennis equipment etc.)
- The summer concerts are open to all guests however there is an admission fee for each person and cash bar for food and drinks.
- All linens and towels provided for your stay.
- Please be advised that private ATVs are not permitted in the community and will be denied entry at the gates.
- Please note that all Eagles Nest homes have internet, but some areas of travel may not have cell reception.
- Guest do not have use of the Green Egg Grill at the property.
- We request guests do not use the large doors in the living room. To go in and out of the home onto the back porch, please use door next to kitchen. 
- This home has exterior security cameras. There are two cameras up front by the entrances of each door. One is above the garage and the other is above the deck pointed toward the mountains. 

CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Absolutely breathtaking.
First, the house is HUGE! All the rooms were spacious and luxurious. So many bathrooms! A HUGE tv in the den! A kitchen + butler's pantry! AMAZING all around!
The outside was like a gorgeous fairy garden of delight. Beautiful landscaping.
The VIEWS took our breath away. The sun rises and sets across the stunning blue mountains and you are right there, poised to see it all. We were literally watching the sunset, as the clouds were below us one day, and couldn't even speak. It was so beautiful.
We will be back for sure. Don't hesitate! Book this place!
(Also, the little lodge-style "Dollar General" down the road where you can walk in and out and it just knows what you took - cutest thing ever! We kept going back just to buy random stuff!)

The view was sure worth the drive, it’s breathtaking. The house had lots of bells and whistles and felt just like home, very luxurious and well built. I wasn’t even upset that charcoal grill wasn’t available for use, lot of people don’t know how properly use them, and I’d probably be the same way. I’d like to come back some time.

View is amazing - very few homes will even come close. House is much nice than the photos. Extras like Sonos music system were very pleasant surprise. "Butler's pantry" is convenient for drink service. You'll never be alone outside with abundant wildlife - we saw deer, rabbits, skunk and 3 bears! FUTURE SUGGESTION: Replace queen bed with king.

This property is amazing. A bit of a drive up the mountain but the views are well worth it! Very close to ski areas, grandfather mountain, and many other things to do in the area. The house was beautiful and clean. The property contact was very quick to respond to any requests we had, communicated to us throughout our stay, and made check in and out very easy. Five star home and service!
