Beautiful location, beautiful cabin inside and out. We loved how spacious it was. Well stocked. We unfortunately weren't able to use the 2 fireplaces during our stay due to the dizzying amount of propane that leaked into the house when they were lit but the owners assured us they would look into servicing them after our stay. Everything else about this place is great aside from that safety issue.

The house was very comfortable and in good condition. Services were not good. Trash removal was very bad since it was not removed as stated in the literature. Also, A request for a vacuum took three days. (Mgt. note - this review has been shared with our team so this can be addressed for future guests.)

Our entire family enjoyed our stay at the Nest! Wonderful amenities from hot tub overlooking the blue ridge, two gas fireplaces, ping pong, and beautiful views from every direction. From sunrise in the morning with a cup of tea in a rocking chair on the porch. Or while ending the night seeing the sunset from the dining room table.
Just beautiful! And if you are traveling with children this is definitely your place. Sleds under the porch, kid dish ware, bunk beds and entertainment and more!
Close to (15 mins) to sugar mountain ski resort, grandfather mountain and more!
We WILL be back!!

This year we decided to do a drive trip with the family for Christmas. This house was fully stocked with more than you need to include games, books, extra blankets and pillows. The cabin is extremely spacious for everyone to have their own space when needed. Highly recommend.

We are saving this place for our next trip to Seven Devils and look forward to experiencing it and the area around it in a different season next time!

The view from the house is stunning. You will not be disappointed. The house was very spacious for two families to share for a weekend. We loved that the kitchen was so well organized. It was easy to find everything we needed for cooking. Note that the floors are creaky - we could hear every step from the bedroom above us. The rental agency was very easy to work with and good at communicating. Overall a very nice stay!

This was our first time vrbo-ing so we were unsure as to what might be provided. Staying in the winter with a large group there were many meals and treats planned but the Nest had us covered, even a high chair/booster seat! You really don't need to bring a thing except maybe some paper towels and tp in addition to your food, clothing, and toiletries. There were tons of children's books throughout the house as well as board games and puzzles. The game room was a huge hit with our family, as well as blankets in every room for cozy family time. There were lots of nice touches and the location was perfect for everything the area as to offer. We started planning next year before we left!

Business/pleasure weekend trip. Cabin was well equipped with all the essentials to accommodate cooking/grilling out, relaxing by the fireplace, reading a good book, enjoying the views, having a relaxing whirlpool bath and more. Conveniently located to shopping and hiking trails. We enjoyed the personal touches the owners added to make our stay more enjoyable. Firewood provided was much appreciated. We did not bring our daughter on this trip, but it had nice touches for people with children—foosball table, ping pong table, arts and crafts supplies, books, etc. We would definitely return to this cabin.

Absolutely loved our stay! The cabin itself is picture perfect with its large windows, wood burning fireplace and beautiful view it was exactly what I had hoped for. The location itself was also perfect..close to Sugar Mountain if you want to do some skiing..but still tucked away enough for some privacy. Great hiking in the area too. I would definitely visit again:)

Lots of great hiking within 30 minutes- recommend hikes on Grandfather Mountain (both state park and private portion). Cabin was well equipped with essentially all kitchen supplies you could need and basic spices/oil. Other properties close to cabin (not the most private I have stayed in), but could not see once inside with arrangement of windows. Would definitely stay there again if in area.
