The HeartStone Lodge at Eagles Nest

We recently stayed at The Heartstone Lodge within The Lodges at Eagles Nest. Over the last 8 years we have been fortunate enough to stay at many homes within the development. Heartstone was a whole new level of luxury. From the inviting decor and gorgeous finishes this home really does have it all. Breathtaking sunsets, long range views, and just minutes to Eagles Nest winery. The home is extremely well appointed and you immediately feel at home. Would highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful family get away at the Heartstone Lodge! Everyone had a beautifully designed bedroom and bathroom to themselves, the kitchen is gorgeous and had all that we needed to cook in every day. The views are amazing, we enjoyed the porch, hot tub & fire pit too! We also enjoyed the peaceful, quiet setting. We played games, ate delicious food and each had the chance to find the space we needed to relax and reset! As we were leaving, and driving through Eagles Nest, we agreed it is a very special community designed to allow people and especially families, to escape their everyday lives and enjoy God's creation. It was also very easy to communicate with the rental company who truly seemed interested in helping us be able to really enjoy our vacation. We would HIGHLY recommend staying at Heartstone Lodge to all of our friends & family.

Our stay at HeartStone Lodge was absolutely phenomenal. We planned our trip over Thanksgiving and from the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning house. The owners had completely decorated for Christmas and it was truly magical. The house was impeccably clean and so beautifully designed. The living area was so cozy and inviting. We felt like we were in a movie when it started to snow as we were cuddled under blankets while sitting beside the massive Christmas tree and crackling fire. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to prepare the big Thanksgiving meal. No detail was overlooked when building and stocking this beautiful home. Each and every bedroom was so thoughtfully decorated with comfortable beds and sound machines and extra blankets. Did I mention how impeccably clean this house was? This family went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. When we reached out for recommendations they were so quick to reply and answer any questions. If you are looking for luxury, this is your home! Thank you HeartStone lodge for opening your home for our family to create lasting memories! We will never forget our dreamy vacation.

The Heartstone Lodge was clearly built with a lot of heart. This house had EVERYTHING and we were happily surprised to see it already decorated so cute for Christmas. Little homey touches everywhere made it so comfortable for our two young children and their grandparents. We were lucky to get a snow day our first morning there and having such a cozy home to enjoy it made it fun to stick close to the house for the whole day.

We've been staying in Banner Elk and surrounding area for over 20 years. Heartstone Lodge at Eagles Nest was one of the nicest cabins we've had the pleasure of renting. We spent the week roasting marshmallows by the fire pit every night, lounging in the hot tub, relaxing by the outdoor gas fireplace while enjoying a movie, and playing cards in the beautiful dining room. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The owners have went above and beyond to make this a magical getaway. The house was spectacular and there were too many amenities to mention them all. We did not even leave the house except to get groceries. The view was amazing and the area was so peaceful. Two of the TVs were not working when we arrived and Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals had someone out to fix them within hours. Someone returned the next day to fix the master bedroom tv as they had to reset the TV and contact the owners for the password. The maintenance guys were both very friendly and did a great job! Thanks for an unforgettable week in one of our favorite places!

WOW... Heartstone Lodge is by far the most amazing stay that we've had in the many years of renting homes in the Banner Elk area! The best way to describe the many attention to details and design is that it makes you feel like a Home -vs- a rental property. From the welcoming entrance with the landscaping and stone Heart inlaid on the entrance walkway to the wrap-around porch with fireplace, hot tub, rocking chairs and couches... you have the opportunity to look west over the Blue Ridge Mountains into Tennessee and enjoy breathtaking sunsets. The entire house is designed to allow relaxation, conversation and spaces to 'get away' to read a book, play board games or meet with friends and family in the great room! No detail was overlooked from the kitchen that is so well stocked with all tools for a chef to cook a meal with all top of the line appliances to make your stay relaxing. Venturing outside to the firepit and swing under the deck adds another space to get-away or be with family and friends. Staying at Heartstone allows you to enjoy the many amenities on the Mountain; Winery, North Pavilion (lunch and dinner), Sports complex (pickleball, tennis, basketball, playground, disc golf, etc.),summer Sat night concerts, mini-golf, ATV rentals & trails, hiking trails, waterfalls and so much more.. without even leaving the mountain! Throw in Banner Elk, Beech Mountain and other local destinations and you find more to do than you have time for. If you want to experience an amazing stay to make memories, this is where you want to be and we'll be coming back again to enjoy this amazing Mountain Home!

Heartstone Lodge is such a haven. The intentionality behind every detail makes this rental truly feel like home! The layout is a perfect mix of open space for groups to gather and plenty of private space too. During our stay, all ages enjoyed hanging out at the house equally as much as the many amenities around Eagles Nest. Your stay can be as relaxed or active as you want to make it. It's a quick trip from the house into quaint Banner Elk for great meal out, shopping, or to pick up groceries. Just make sure you are back home in time to catch the sunset view from the porch - it can't be beat. I can't wait to return!

I want to leave a review for HeartStone Lodge. My husband and I had pleasure of staying at this amazing brand new home back over Memorial Day holiday weekend. The house is roomy and the layout is comfortable for everyone. Plenty of room to cozy up and read a book or just enjoy a beautiful sunset from the back deck. After dark we enjoyed watching a movie from the hot tub. The owners have definitely thought of every little detail when designing and decorating this home. We also enjoyed a beautiful fire inside the living room when we got up in the cooler mornings. This home has everything you and your family could need. If you have children there is an amazing den downstairs for the kids to enjoy their own space to play games or watch TV. The neighborhood is wonderful and offers so many events for everyone. We enjoyed one of the live concerts outside and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful back drop for the sunset behind the stage. We took the grandkids to play putt putt, they played ball in the big field that has all the equipment you need to play just about every outdoor game. I just can't say enough about Eagles Nest and the HeartStone Lodge. Book your reservations now!!

This allowed us to spread out when we wanted to. The deck is amazing- an amazing view of the sunset over the mountain from comfy rocking chairs. Adults and kids all enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. What a special week we have had at Heartstone! The owners have created a beautiful house on this property with an amazing view of the sunsets. It is truly a refuge from busy lives. We took advantage of so many opportunities this area has - hiking, put put, a concert, climbing tower, zipline and the wonderful winery. Then we would come back to the house for roasting hotdogs and marshmallows and time in the hot tub. We will go home rested!
