The Forge

The host was super welcoming! The house is beautiful, comfortable and in a very nice neighborhood! It is very convenient to restaurants, shopping and Old Barn Winery. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms were very roomy. We enjoyed the deer that would come around to the backyard. We would absolutely rent this house again! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved seeing snow!

This cabin was spacious, clean, and well-stocked for 8 people. The beds were comfortable and we had every convenience of home. The location felt remote, but most activities and shopping were just minutes away. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone interested in a mountain vacation.

This was our second stay at the Forge and it was like coming home! Everything was clean and ready for us, and we truly feel it is a cozy home away from home. We can't wait for our great-grandkids to get a little older to share the bunk room with them! The wrap-around porch and the woods are amazing if you want that secluded feeling, and nothing like having coffee on the porch with your BFF! Can't wait for next year!

This was our second stay at the Forge and it was like coming home! Everything was clean and ready for us, and we truly feel it is a cozy home away from home. We can’t wait for our great-grandkids to get a little older to share the bunk room with them! The house was amazing and large enough that everyone could be apart but also together if that makes sense. The house was wonderful and the pictures are very accurate. We came to see fall foliage and it did not disappoint

This is in a beautiful neighborhood with large lots (so it felt very private)! The beds were super comfortable (most important to me, Lol!), the kitchen was truly a fully stocked kitchen! It has every single spice you could need. We loved the Keurig coffee maker, and they do have hair dryers in the bathrooms. The front porch glider was so nice and comfortable. We enjoyed hiking up and down the streets in between rains when we couldn't go to favorite hiking destinations (Grayson Highlands, Doughton Park,etc).

My family recently had the pleasure of staying at the property named, “The Forge” The home was beautiful and very spacious for our group of 12. The landscaping was gorgeous and the wind whistling through the trees was very enchanting. I highly recommend going through this rental company.

We stayed at The Forge on 9/23-9/25 and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The home and location was beautiful. Our surroundings were “enchanting” as we could hear the wind whistling through the trees as we sat around the fire pit. The home is very spacious and creatively designed and decorated. Perfect for family get togethers.

Our stay at The Forge was wonderful! We had 2 of our grandsons with us and they loved the upstairs so much with the spacious loft area! The cabin is supplied with everything you need to completely remove yourself from the outside world and just enjoy the quietness, the serene landscape, and seeing the deer and all other wildlife is an added bonus. The Forge is a beautifully and well maintained cabin and we hope to return!
