Great cabin and yard! Super location to Sugar Mountain resort for skiing, ice skating, and snow tubing! We had perfect winter weather with 2 light snows that were just enough to play in and sled in, but not too much to be a hazard.

With 3 floors it was wonderful to be able to divide up our 8 adults, 2 children, and 1 toddler. Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. We loved using the fireplace and big tv was great for watching the Carolina Duke game. Close to great activities and anything else we needed. Great time.

The house was roomy and inviting. We stayed with our grown kids and everyone was very comfortable. We enjoyed using the hot tub after a day of skiing and the kitchen was well stocked for our needs.

Customer service is great, they respond quickly and I felt that they would take care of anything we needed. The place was beautiful, a house built in 2020, how great is that! It had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was super comfortable, the laundry room was huge and so was the living room, dining, even the entrance, bedrooms and bathrooms. It has two creeks, one on each side of the house. There was plenty of space for our four cars and I think we could have park two more. Super close to the supermarkets and Sugar Mountain Resort. Our family of eight adults and four children had a great time at this property

We had a great time at the Feisty Fox. The kids enjoyed the slopes at Beech and Sugar Mountain while we enjoyed Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain and the area around the cabin.

The stay here was amazing. The location is perfect and right next to Sugar mountain we were never in a rush to get there! The house was very cozy and beautiful. My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Everything was perfect here. We loved outside fire pit and jacuzzi. This house was a great pick.

This was a wonderful house for extended family Spring Break! The rooms were set up to fit our needs, the master bath allowed for limited mobility needs, and the back porch fireplace was perfect for smores! The kitchen allowed us to easily cook meals for 10 people. The house is within minutes of grocery shopping and the Alpine Coaster as well as within 25 minutes of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We all decided that Banner Elk/Sugar Mountain is going to be a repeat vacation spot!

This is a great property for a large family. Extremely close to ski lodge and grocery store. We will come back next year. Mud room was perfect for taking care of ski gear.

I take my grandkids on a "Gramie and kids" vacation every summer. This year my daughters tagged along as well. Usually at the end of our vacations (even if we had a wonderful time) we are ready to get back home. Not the case this year. We could have stayed another week or two!The house was perfectly stocked , the beds,linens and towels were so comfortable, showers and tubs nice and roomy with plenty of hot water. It really felt like home away from home. We enjoyed a fire every night, Loved watching the many many fireflies preform for us! The proximity to everything was fantastic, Grocery stores we less than 10 min away. Within about a 20 min drive we were hiking on waterfall trails, ziplining, kayaking, horseback riding, gem finding, enjoying a sat farmers market,,shopping in Boone...It was a dream vacation and after every activity it felt wonderful to come back home, comfortable and cozy, We loved loved loved it!!!The house and neighborhood are perfect, secluded but not remote, wildlife visits, porches for rocking, we loved the porch fireplace, great TV's and fun games downstairs...and the hottub was the cherry on top. We brought our own extension cord and enjoyed the fun lights that are strung from tree to tree,,If there was an 11 to give we would definitely give it. Property management was professional and made the entire process smooth and seamless. We will be back and can hardly wait!!!

A group of guys visited for a weekend golf trip and the cabin worked very well easily accommodating six of us. We had a lot of rain and spent more time at the cabin than we planned but it worked well, cooling down at night, and having great conversation on the back deck with a fire roaring!

If you are looking for a clean, well maintained, convenient, large, beautiful mountain cabin to rent - the Feisty Fox is your place. We had a fabulous reunion visit with several friends and found the Feisty Fox to be perfect. The cabin is massive but cozy with 5 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths, plus 3 different seating areas. Huge deck, inside and outside fireplaces, fire pit, hot tub, etc- We were all impressed! You will not be disappointed.

"WOW" was our first impression as we arrived at the "Feisty Fox", which overlooks a wooded area with a flowing stream at Sugar Mountain, N.C. Entering the "Feisty Fox", we discovered a well-designed floor plan with a beautiful kitchen, living and dining area, high ceilings, hard-wood floors, a large deck and many more amenities -- all large enough for four couples to be comfortable for the week. Close to several mountainous towns, we spent our days sight-seeing, shopping and dining. Don't miss an opportunity to vacation at the "Feisty Fox" at Sugar Mountain, N.C., where views of the mountains and seasonal skylines exist.

Perfect getaway place to stay! Very spacious luxurious cabin with that North Carolina mountain charm. Beautifully furnished and very well cared for both inside and outside. Loved the outdoor deck with a huge stone fireplace. Plenty of space for multiple families. Location is as good as it gets. Privacy at the cabin yet you can shop, fish, ski, hike all within less than 10 minutes away. You could literally walk to the ski slope. We already plan a return stay soon. No disappointments or surprises just great cabin living! Definitely a 5 star accommodation!

We recently completed a one week stay at the Feisty Fox house on Sugar Mountain. What a great experience! We loved the house. It was spacious and beautiful! We kept marveling at all the beautiful wood inside the house! There were eight adults in our party, and the three levels provided lots of room to spread out from the group when needed. The whole neighborhood where the house is located is quite nice and offered some magnificent views during our walks! I would definitely give it five out of five stars!

I just wanted to tell you how wonderful our stay at The Feisty Fox on Sugar Mountain was. I would give it 5 's! We were a party of 8, and everyone said they were comfortable and slept well. The kitchen was well supplied, and we prepared several meals there. It is very centrally located and makes it easy to commute to Banner Elk, Blowing Rock and Boone. We enjoyed a day trip to Grandfather Mountain, an Arts Festival in Blowing Rock and shopping at Mast General Store in Boone. Dinner at Stone Walls was excellent! We can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Fiesty Fox, it had 5 bedrooms which would actually sleep 15 with 31/2 baths, a spacious family room,open to an eating area and fully stocked kitchen. We loved the porch on the back for relaxing, sipping wine & lots of socializing. It was convenient to grocery stores, great restaurants & plenty of sightseeing adventures. We definitely plan to return.

The cabin is updated and decorated very nicely. The location is great! There are restaurants, stores, supermarkets and skiing places and everything you need around it. As a parents of 3 kids we always look for kids friendly vacation rentals and we all loved staying at the Feisty Fox. It’s a large cabin so it’s perfect for a big or small families. The kids enjoyed playing at the backyard and the weather around spring break was awesome! We look forward to go back again during winter time!

A great home away from home. With a large family, this home had plenty of space and had everything we needed. The three story home has a great layout , with a finished basement and a Hot tub outside. We did some cooking and BBQ’ing which was a good option but it’s located near the town which had some good restaurants available. This location is great because It’s within minutes of the sky lounge , downtown, supermarkets and activities for the kids. We made some great family memories here and we plan to do it again. We highly recommended this place ! We plan on going back again!!!

Our family of six stayed at the Feisty Fox for a week and had another family of four join for the second half of the trip. This luxurious and spacious cabin was more than accomodating for our large party. There was plenty of activities or exploring to keep the kids entertained while the adults enjoyed wine on the deck. We could not ask for a better location. The cabin has a spacious flat driveway and is less than 5 minutes away from Sugar Mountain Ski, tons of hiking, vineyards, creeks, and a short drive into Boone or Banner Elk with tons of great dining and shops. We cannot wait to come back to the Feisty Fox and make even more amazing memories.

My family had the pleasure of staying at the Feisty Fox and while I’m not one to generally write a review, this property is totally worth it! We stayed with a couple of other families, adults and children, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Never felt crowded and even when we all had dinners together at night, the kitchen and eating area more than accommodated. The location is perfect for everything from grabbing necessities to hitting the slopes but the best part is that while staying there it still feels private and secluded. It is the best of both worlds to feel like you are staying in a private cabin (but a really spacious, upscale one) without the inconvenience of tons of driving when trying to do anything. The home is very well appointed and truly feels like a home away from home. Will definitely be planning another visit!
