Sunset Holiday at Eagles Nest

The house was almost as amazing as the views off the back deck! House was clean, very well furnished and plenty spacious. We had a great time. Spent every night outside at the fireplace on the deck. We will be back!!

My family and I recently stayed 4 nights and 5 days at Sunset Holiday, and we were absolutely blown away. This property in Eagles Nest is truly stunning—the views alone are worth the trip! From the moment you walk in, you can immediately appreciate the quality craftsmanship, beautiful décor, and thoughtful flow of the home. Having a bedroom on the main level with just a single step into the house was perfect for anyone who prefers to avoid stairs. Upstairs offers two incredible bedrooms and a spacious TV/card/game room—this quickly became our family's favorite hangout spot. The lower level features another bedroom and bathroom, plus a fantastic game area complete with a pool table, arcade machine, TV, and cozy sofa. Both decks overlook not just the yard, but the most breathtaking mountain views. We also loved the location—tucked away in its own peaceful corner of the mountain, yet only about 20 minutes from everything we needed. If you're searching for a mountain getaway, my family cannot recommend this home enough. You'll want to make it your “home away from home,” just as we have. Thank you to the owners for pouring so much love into this beautiful retreat. We can't wait to return!

We recently stayed at Sunset Holiday in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and it was exactly what we hoped for. The cabin feels tucked away and peaceful, with beautiful mountain views that change all day long. We spent mornings on the deck with coffee and evenings watching the sky shift as the sun went down. Inside, everything is thoughtfully put together and comfortable. The beds are genuinely cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the whole cabin was spotless. There are so many warm touches that make it easy to settle in and relax. We especially loved the outdoor spaces and the quiet – it was the kind of slow-down that's hard to find. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and game room, so fun! Communication and check-in were simple and smooth. It was clear the owners care about the experience their guests have. If you're looking for a place to unwind, breathe a little deeper, and enjoy the mountains, Sunset Holiday is a wonderful choice. We would happily stay again.
