Message to host: I loved this place the first time I entered it! The 4 bedrooms / 4 baths provided excellent privacy yet the common level with the living room, kitchen and dining room offered and beautiful views and great place for all to gather and socialize. The hosts spared no expense in regard to the décor and available features, such as the mini-split cooling and heating system which allows each occupant in each room or space to control the individual temperature settings. Highlight best memories of your stay: The views and proximity to the golf course and skiing area were optimal. Recommendations: The local town of Banner Elk is quaint with shopping and local cuisine. We enjoyed live music and wine tasting in a picturesque outdoor setting at the Grandfather winery only a short 4 miles away.

8 adults and 3 babies. it was a crowd, but Our Sugar High, townhouse was perfect with 4 suites with bathrooms & ample everything! very clean, tons of extras! would go back over and over again! No detail left out, in fact, over and above!!

The perfect weekend retreat for the whole family! We spent a wonderful weekend with our family at Sugar High in June, and it was just what the doctor ordered! Situated in a fabulous resort community with gorgeous mountain views on one side, and a lush golf course on the other, this charming retreat offered a delightful blend of relaxation, adventure, and quality time together. Accommodations (5/5): The property was a true home away from home. Immaculately clean and perfectly decorated, it exuded a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious living area provided ample room for family bonding, where we played countless games (all provided by the hosts!), and the large windows offered breathtaking views! Location (5/5): It was conveniently situated within a short distance of a grocery store, and plenty of quaint restaurants, and bars. Moreover, we had access to several hiking trails that catered to various skill levels. For those in our family who enjoy golfing, having direct access to the links was a definite bonus! Within a short drive, we were able to visit 2 local wineries and enjoyed live music, delicious wines, and tasty appetizers & desserts. Amenities (5/5): The property was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable family stay. The well-stocked kitchen made meal preparation a breeze, and the bedrooms were very comfortable and all included private bathrooms! Hospitality (5/5): The host's hospitality truly enhanced our experience. From the warm welcome with a basket of local treats to the thoughtful recommendations in the guidebook, we felt like valued guests. Any questions or requests we had were promptly addressed, making us feel right at home. Conclusion: Our family weekend vacation at Sugar High was absolutely fantastic. We left with our hearts full of joy and our spirits rejuvenated, already planning our return trip. It's a slice of paradise that offers something for every member of the family, and it's an experience you won't want to miss.

This summer four couples (8 people) had a fantastic adventure at Sugar High. Each couple had their own private room with a bathroom and there was plenty of room in the rest of the townhome for all of us to be together. We cooked meals and ate while sitting at the large table on the balcony overlooking the golf course and mountains. Besides golf, there was hiking and tennis. Great spot in the winter for skiers. The ski lift is across the street from the condo. The location is surrounded by wineries, breweries, and charming towns to explore. We will be back!

Sugar High is the perfect spot for a weekend golf getaway! The unit is directly off the 1st tee box of the Sugar Mountain Golf Club, a picturesque course with loads of fun shots and elevation change. Also, the course plays quickly enough (par 64) that you can viably play two rounds in a day if you want (trust me, you will!) Also, the unit is right next to the practice green, so in the evenings you're free to work on putting and chipping. Outside of golf, there is plenty to do around Sugar. We visited some fantastic local wineries, went shopping around Boone, and had a delicious Steak Dinner at Stonewall's. The unit itself is great too! With 4 bedrooms, it can comfortably sleep upwards of 8 people. The living room hosts a massive TV with plenty of seating for sports/movies, and the new AC units were a necessary reprieve from the NC Summer heat. All in all, we had a great stay and will definitely be planning another trip to Sugar High soon!

We had a lovely time staying at the well equipped sugar high property. The property is conveniently located to be able to walk to all the local amenities, hiking trails, skiing, golf, tennis and more. It is also an easy drive into town where there are lots of great spots to eat, and not far from several local wineries. Sugar High is a great spot for family or friend get together weekends. The kitchen has all you need to cook for a crowd and we really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and having our meals overlooking the golf course. We would definitely recommend Sugar High to anyone who is looking for a spot to have a great mountain get away.

Location, location, location! This condo is in the perfect spot. Lovely little towns all around …Sugar Mountain, BannerElk, Blowing Rock and Boone with wonderful restaurants and sightseeing. Sugar High is right on the golf course with nice deck seating and beautiful views out back. Also, it's just a short walk to the tennis courts, snow tubing and ski slopes. The condo itself is very spacious with 4 bedrooms and bathrooms. We loved that you did not have to share a bathroom with others. The place is spic and span clean and the decor was very attractive and comfortable. We will definitely return!

Our time at Sugar High was the highlight of our 4th of July week. Having 4 bedrooms each with its own bathroom made our stay wonderful! The beds and furniture were in perfect shape and very comfortable. Having a place to plug our phones and electronics by each bed was very thoughtful. The main living area has a huge smart TV with an awesome picture for those times we just wanted to chill inside. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and then some. The outdoor deck right off the main living area was a great place to eat with plenty of shade and beautiful flower pots. What an amazing view of the golf course and mountains while having our lunch! To celebrate Independence Day, we walked to Sugar Mountain Resort and enjoyed a live band and BBQ before we took the ski lift to the top of the mountain to view fireworks. What a fantastic experience! The golf course was challenging with all its slopes and in top notch shape while the clubhouse is a great place to eat. We checked out several local hangouts like Grandfather Winery where we enjoyed live music and a wonderful tasting/gift shop. Nearby Banner Elk is a gorgeous little town with lovely landscaping where we enjoyed walking around town shopping, having lunch at Banner Elk Tavern/Cafe, and enjoying an ice cream. We never ran out of fun places to visit, all very close. We will definitely be back for another stay at Sugar High!
