Clean, comfortable home that is located right in the middle of Blowing Rock. Can easily walk to Main Street. Home has several areas where family/friends can gather yet have enough room to spread out. Make sure to follow driving directions given by management company as the front of the home and its driveway is accessible from the adjacent street and not the home address. Would definitely stay again!

We had such an amazing stay at Stella Maris! The house was well kept, very clean, and had such a great outdoor space! Being walking distance to Main Street Blowing Rock was a huge plus. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was easy to work with, always responding quickly and kindly through the booking process, texting easy reminders for check in and departure, and had a great resource book in the house. We hope to stay at this house again and would recommend others do the same!

Lovely renovated home with lots of space. Clean. The steps leading up to the house were hard for elderly ladies to mange with their luggage the Slate at the bottom of the steps need to be worked on. Very slippery when wet. The light at the steps was not working. Very dark and hard to see your way up after dark.

Excellent location, 1 block from Main Street. Very spacious house for 9, bathrooms for all rooms extra. Fenced in yard, parking for 3 vehicles.Awesome communication throughout the entire process. Will definitely be going again.

We already love Blowing Rock, and have visited every summer/fall for nearly 10 years. But the Stella Maris location was so convenient. Our adult children loved being able to walk to the downtown area for snacks and drinks. The house was quiet and clean, with enough room for everyone to have privacy. Property managers communicated promptly when we had questions. We had asked about whether or not the house had a keurig machine and had to laugh when we showed up and there were 4 coffee makers, including a keurig. The only issue we had was that the internet was not great. We ended up using our phones as hot-spots, so it was easily resolved for us. Our kids have already asked us to book the same house for next year.

This was our first couple's trip with our newborns (3 months & 5 months) and this location could not have been more perfect for walking into town for shopping and eating. We also brought our dog and the fenced in backyard is huge and a great area to let dog play. We were already looking up re-renting this place while still staying. Fingers crossed this house is available for our next stay in the mountains!

My girlfriends and I get together annually to celebrate Christmas together with our kids. We are App grads, so we decided to head up to Blowing Rock/Boone this year. This house was PERFECT! The layout is super spacious and all updated. All of the amenities were provided, and the location is second to none! We didn't have to get in our cars ONE time all weekend because it's within walking distance to everything! The property managers were very communicative (we had a minor issue with trash and they responded within an hour!)…. There are somewhat lengthy, rock stairs leading up to the house, so if mobility is an issue this may be a concern; overall I would highly recommend this house and will stay here again!
