We absolutely loved this house snuggled on the mountain. The view of Grandfather mountain was beautiful, and the porch was our favorite part. This house had everything to make you feel like home from a stocked kitchen to a comfortable bed!

My friends and I are big cooks and we felt that the kitchen was well stocked with kitchen utensils for baking and cooking! Very clean and the perfect view of Grandfather Mountain made the most relaxing weekend.

We stayed for 4 nights to explore the area and have family time with my parents. Nicely located to access multiple areas like Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock and Linville. The house was very accommodating for cooking for the family. We cooked full meals and had all the cookware needed to prepare the meal. The grill worked great. The living area and porch was awesome for playing games and talking with family. The neighborhood was good for walking. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The house and its location were perfect! The house is located in a quiet area with a beautiful view of Grandfather Mountain from the front porch. It was located close to all the activities and areas we wanted to visit during our long weekend. The space was perfect for our family of 4 with enough room to spread out - inside and outside the home. The house was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and immaculately cleaned!

We loved our view of grandfather mountain every morning and evening. We were happy at the end of each days outings coming back to our cozy cabin and sitting on the deck reminiscing. It was a great week. We would definitely recommend this cabin for families as well as being cozy it is close to Boone and Banner Elk.

The location of the house could not be more perfect. We were there for snow tubing, and also enjoy visiting downtown Boone and Blowing Rock. The house was cozy, very clean, bright and cheerful, and the layout was perfect. The views of grandfather mountain were amazing! We will definitely book this house again.

Beautiful and private place! Our first impression was that it was better than it looked in the pictures. The place was very modern yet cozy. 10 mins from sugar mountain ski resort and 25 mins from beech mountain ski resort. We liked the beech mountain more because the quality of the snow was way better. Every amenities including the grill worked without any problem. I couldn't find any downside about this place.

Great communication. The house was just as described and was clean. The check in directions and other guidelines were easy to follow. We didn't have any problems, but the rental agency stayed in touch via email during our stay offering assistance if needed. The welcome gift was a nice touch.

The Spruce House is ideally situated, well maintained, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you'll need and there is also a beautiful view of Grandfather Mountain. We're looking forward to a return visit in the Fall.

Just an outstanding home. Epic view of Grandfather Mtn., comfortable beds and furniture, very usable/functional and well-equipped kitchen. Check-in and Check-out were smooth and logical. We arrived on a snowy afternoon to stairs already sanded for our safety. We will be back for sure.

This property is amazing! Located in the heart of Seven Devils, minutes away from Boone, Grandfather Mountain, and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, this lovely home is a gem. With an unbelievable view of Grandfather Mountain from the living areas and deck, this is a true home away from home. The kitchen was stocked with anything we could have needed. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The decor was perfect and the furnishings were comfortable. The kids loved the selection of board games! The staff checked in via email to make sure that we had everything we needed during our stay and provided great instructions prior to our visit. The notebook of information had wonderful suggestions for activities, food, and so much more. We highly recommend this property!

Great mountain house for a weekend getaway! We had 3 adults and a toddler, and the house was clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. I really appreciated several of the "baby proofing" touches (gate for the stairs, etc.). The view from the porch was great. Overall, would highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at the spruce house! Far enough up the mountain for amazing views without the narrow winding roads. Easy access and super clean. We cooked almost every evening and enjoyed playing in the snow in the driveway. Hawks Nest snow tubing was about a mile away and I would highly recommend. All in all it was a great family adventure and our stay at the spruce house made it that much better!

I felt this rental was better than advertised. The rooms were very bright and the home had a good blend of updated living combined with old rustic mountain feels. It also had great views during a warm & sunny or snowy day. The on-call staff was also courteous and understanding when I called. One thing I suggest to anyone who plans to rent here (and this is for people not used to mountainous terrain) is have chains ready for all tires. Also all wheel drive on your vehicle. I hadn't read any previous reviews on this property to see if anyone else suggested this before.

What a lovely house!! Perfectly clean. Perfectly stocked. The downstairs offers extra privacy for sharing a house with others if you prefer. Easily enough room for 6, but we had only 4. The view was fantastic! I would highly recommend this rental and hope to stay again!
