Soothing waters was wonderful!! The cabin is nicely furnished with very comfy beds. Loved the little (but big) touches such as a sound machine in each room, kitchen and bath soap sets, coffee pods etc. The kitchen had everything you need to cook. The location was peaceful- it felt so remote, but was not far from grocery etc. The kids absolutely loved the stream and fishing in the pond. We would stay again!!

This cabin is a perfect choice for a stay in the area. The location was easy to find, the management company provided excellent info, and the check-out/clean-up process was the easiest I've ever experienced in my 10 years of renting properties. The cabin itself is charming, with a great use of space without feeling small, and has a well-appointed kitchen -- especially if you are a coffee connoisseur. The babbling creek is so close by that hanging out on the back porch or in the hot tub was our favorite part. The spotlight on the creek & the string of lights on the porch were also a nice addition at night time. Can't wait to return!

The cabin is everything that's described but so much more. Words cannot fully convey how soothing the creek is. And the book and game selection is so fun. The big shower is lovely. Kitchen very well stocked. It is truly a precious oasis!!! Communication from the rental company was very clear and helpful.

This sweet cabin truly has it all!! The sheets, blankets and towels are so soft. Fun books and games at the ready. A gas fireplace ? The Creek!!! A wonderful hot tub on the deck. It is the most soothing place I have been at in a while. The construction of the cabin is exquisite. Loved everything about this cabin and hope to return!

Such a cozy cabin with all the comforts of home. Warm fireplace, clean hot tub outside and such a comfortable place. The owners thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. Sitting on the porch and watching the leaves fall and seeing the deer jump around on the property were just great, so relaxing! Cabin was immaculately clean. Can't wait to return someday soon!

We enjoyed our stay at Soothing Waters and have utilized Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals cabin options at least annually for many years. Customer service is 10 Star ALWAYS and the staff, the BEST. We were blessed with beautiful weather, leaves at peak, and the cabin was impeccably adorable. My husband and I also enjoyed reading your personal introduction and story, very similar to our own. We were married at the Mast Farm Inn, 16 years ago. Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin, see you all again soon.

First of all, employees of Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals are very professional, polite, and helpful. Second, Soothing Waters was great, just like the first time we rented it!! It was very clean! We love the back porch- there is comfortable furniture for enjoying the view of the creek, and the hot tub is like new. The indoor furniture and beds are comfortable, too. We like the location, and it's not far from Boone. We look forward to visit #3!

The location was just what we wanted, and the descriptions were accurate. It was a short run to the Mast Store in Valle Crucis and was not far from Boone. Soothing Waters was on a small creek that you could hear from the porch- very relaxing! It was in a wooded area- no neighboring cabins were up under us. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed...nice hot tub, too! We enjoyed seeing the deer and adorable chipmunks. Also, Emily and other staff were a pleasure to work with!

Soothing Waters was just that! This cabin was super clean and stocked with everything you may need. We saw deer everyday and even saw a bobcat one day- a special surprise and treat. I truly enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening with the spotlight on the stream/waterfall below. I highly recommend this property. We are already making plans to return.

I cannot say enough great things about our recent stay at Soothing Waters! We had an incredible time exploring the nature surrounding us, gem mining in town, recharging and reconnecting. The cabin is immaculately clean and the landscape is peaceful and private. We enjoyed mornings in the hot tub, afternoons catching crawfish & making friends with salamanders, and evenings making s’mores over the fire beside the creek. Thank you for sharing your oasis with us! We cannot wait to return!

This was a total relaxation vacation. Just what we needed to escape our chaotic live in Northern VA. We are parents to 3 teenagers and both work full time. When pandemic hit, we were all stuck home trying to manage work and school. At some point I felt like I was losing my sanity. I needed to get away, change the scenery but with so many restrictions, vacations were postponed. This year I commit myself to get away. I'm glad I found this place. I look forward to return.

3 days of peace and quiet. First morning saw seven deer walking by. Second morning wild turkeys. Setting out on the deck listening to the waterfalls was just like the name of the cabin...soothing. Cabin was great. Close enough to town to get groceries and meals. Loved everything about it.

My group of 3 girlfriends and I decided to take a weekend trip up to the mountains and found this cute cabin tucked away near all the places we wanted to go. The cabin rental office was super easy to work with, as well as the owners of the cabin. Everyone was so helpful with our booking, planning, and check-in/out process. The cabin itself was very clean and spacious, perfect for the 4 of us. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, cookware, and coffee. The hot tub was great after our days of hiking and exploring the area. We unfortunately didn't get a chance to use the firepit, but the area was maintained and had a perfect view of the creek out back. The cabin is near Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk, so those areas all make for great day trips. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

Soothing Waters is not just a cabin, it’s a place to breathe and reconnect. We are both frontline healthcare workers and were desperate for a place to recharge with our kids. This was the best vacation we’ve had in a long time. The cabin is well appointed and had everything we needed. It has clearly been updated but retains a rustic feel. Our kids loved the creek, fishing in the nearby pond and walking around the property. Great access to Boone and Grandfather Mountain. Valle Crucis Community Park is a must do and very close. Appreciated being able to bring our goldendoodle who also lived his best life. Already booked a return trip and the kids hope we can come every summer. Thank you, Kelsi, Dylan and Garrett! ??

This property needs updated pictures b/c it was far more impressive in person. The inside is very cozy! The outside porch had a beautiful and peaceful view. The creek and fire pit were so fun for our little boy! In mid-September it was a little hot without AC but cooled down enough at night that it was doable. I would stay here again!

The creek was a great bonus for my grandchildren. Every day In the afternoon, my grandchildren (2,3 and 5) had a great time playing in the creek below the cabin.
