Description
There's no better home base location to explore the High Country than this charming one-level home on Snaggy's Retreat in Boone! Just 5 minutes drive will take you right to the heart of all the wonderful shopping and dining Boone has to offer. Snaggy's Retreat is under new ownership and will see a some updates and furniture changes through the end of 2023. New photos coming soon.
Snaggy's Retreat offers access via cobblestone path from the parking area with just one step over the threshold. The home is one-level, making this a great option for those with limited mobility. The great room is open and airy, with exposed beams and lots of windows to let in the natural light, and here you'll find the living room as well as a kitchen and dining area.
There are three bedrooms to choose from. The primary suite includes a King bed and an ensuite bathroom. Just down the hall Guests will find the second and third bedrooms, a Queen bed in one and a twin over twin bunk in the other. These bedrooms share the second bath. Have fun on the shuffleboard table, too!
Step outside onto the open porch and relax in the cool mountain air. At over 3500' elevation, the breezes here are always refreshing. The stone patio on the other side of the home offers a firepit as well as a hot tub.
No matter where you go and what you do while enjoying the High Country, you're sure to enjoy coming home to Snaggy's Retreat!

Such a convenient location in Boone! We were two App families bringing young families back for the first time, and it was a perfect layout for us. We were able to get them into bed and spend time outside by the fire, or inside the sunroom, without worry that we would wake the kids.
