We loved getting to hang out in such a beautiful place with our three kids and two of their friends. The pool table and games in the cabin were super fun! They enjoyed the hot tub, too! The space was perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at "East Meets West," Lorraine's beautiful mountain house! The view was stunning, and its location was perfect—close to Boone, NC, yet peaceful and secluded. Lorraine was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit. The only downside was the slow internet and the TV/channels not working well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

Excellent location, comfortable accommodations. Didn’t cook much, but kitchen seemed to be well equipped. Enjoyed watching deer wandering the fields behind the house. Back deck is very comfortable with ample seating. All of the common areas were very spacious. Internet was weak, but there were plenty of alternatives with an abundance of games downstairs. I wouldn’t mind being stuck inside here in a rainy day. Upstairs rooms were just a little warm, but it was mid July.

Such a perfect place for our family of friends to gather for our annual friend-cation! It was so baby and dog friendly — love the porch that latches and the extra pack-n-play was a lifesaver. Would highly recommend and would stay again! Wonderful host and place to stay!

We stayed here for my son’s graduation at App State. The location was perfect and the house was a great set up for all ages. The house had everything you could think of for having a large family celebration. Our college age kids enjoyed the entertainment room in the lower level. The views from the deck were wonderful. We highly recommend this house for this location as well as the accommodations and furnishings.

I found BRMR to be very accommodating! Our vacation was such a restful, fun and amazing trip. I am an ASU GRADUATE so being close to campus was so much fun. Going downtown was magical even though it was raining! Snow tubing was canceled then rescheduled so we did get to go to Hawksnest. The cabin was beautiful and spacious. The game room was a hit! Would recommend this cabin to other families!

This home is awesome. Plenty of space and well stocked kitchen. Game room was enjoyed by our grandchildren and even the adult children. You do not have to drive a steep incline to get to the home either so that was a huge plus. Home over looks a field and we really enjoyed watching the deer in the mornings and evenings and also overlooks Appalachian State soccer fields. It was a bonus to have beds made and towels stocked and even laundry pods, dish detergent, shampoo, body wash supplies. A weekend getaway is not long enough. We are looking forward to coming back for a week!

This cabin is in a great location in Boone! It was very clean, comfortable and very spacious. Our group loved the hot tub and the pool table as well as the mountain views from the porches. Management was friendly and responded to my emails very timely. We would love to stay here again!!

We took are first big family trip which included 12 adults and 2 kids ages 2 & 5. Everyone had an amazing time! We had everything that we needed to make our trip go smoothly. The view was beautiful, the house was BREATHTAKING, and the area was perfect! We hope to see this home available again next year because it fit our family perfectly! We wish we were still there!

Loved the feel of this home. It offered plenty of space for everyone to spread out on 3 levels. The huge kitchen was perfect for eating altogether as a family and playing games. The hot tub and pool table were used quite a bit. Couldn't beat the location, literally less than 10 minutes to the grocery stores and downtown Boone.

It was our annual girlfriends' weekend, and we all had a lovely time! The company overseeing the property were very responsive whenever we had a need! Would go back there again and would highly recommend East Meets West!!!

We loved our stay at East Meets West cabin. We have a large family of 13 and there was more than enough space for us all to be comfortable. The location is ideal, with it being close to town but still a quiet setting. There is plenty to do, close by, and we enjoyed all of the amenities that the cabin offers. We will definitely keep this cabin in mind if we ever stay in Boone again.

Our family was in Boone for my granddaughter's high school graduation. The property is close to Boone and very convenient to everything. It is spacious, had everything we needed, and was overall a great place to stay. We plan to stay there again in 2 years when my grandson graduates

The booking process was easy. Checking in was easy. The cabin was clean and equipped better than was stated(more towels, etc). Contacted after hours number one time and we were taken care of quickly and with courteousness regarding our request.

We spent 5 days at this beautiful cabin. We were a little nervous that the cabin would not live up to the pictures that you see on the site...but it was everything you see and more!!! The morning and evening views were breathtaking and the cabin itself has a very peaceful feel to it!!! If we are back in Boone we will definitely book East Meets West again!!!!

This was my first cabin-rental experience, and it went very smoothly. The property (East Meets West) was very clean and exactly as described. BRMR provided clear instructions and directions. I also enjoyed the process of selecting a cabin- all fees are listed up-front, and it's easy to see location, capacity, and features of each unit. Thanks!

I talked with several people throughout the process and they were each so very helpful. This was the best house we have ever rented. My dad has been in a wheel chair and not left his house except drs visits since Feb 14 2015. I forced him to come and because of the layout of the house with the master on the main floor and the bath that came along with it, he had a great time and relaxed a lot. He loved the porch and even though he couldn’t do the other activities with the family he had a great house with a great view to stay in. My grandkids which are 2 and 4 really enjoyed the hot tub even though they didn’t use the jets because they are afraid of them. They especially loved the cows and the deer in the pasture and so did I. I couldn’t wait to see my son and daughter n laws face and it was as I thought a face of astonishment. We all decided we are going to sell our houses and move to this one. My mom and my daughter n laws mom had a great time sitting on the porch drinking coffee and talking. We ate all our meals together and we enjoyed seeing all of your family pictures sitting around. There was nothing about this house we did not enjoy and we are deciding to make it a yearly trip. All in all even the 2 year old didn’t want to leave. We can’t wait to come back!
