River Ridge

Wonderful stay at River Ridge Cabin. Cabin was beautiful and very comfortable and conveniently located to a grocery store and restaurants. We loved the wood burning fire place. We will be back!

We had an absolute blast staying at the cabin at River Ridge. It was perfect for our laid back family. We were looking for something with charm and comfort and we found it here. Blue Mountain Rentals worked with us every step of the way making sure that we had everything that we needed. They were very personable and ever present in case we needed anything (which we didn't). It was a beautiful 20 minute drive into Boone and we explored the ski resorts nearby as well, which were a bit further but enjoyable drives. You definitely need AWD or 4 wheel drive in this area when it snows. Honestly, we could have stayed in the cabin the whole time we were there and been perfectly content. We ordered fire wood and it was ready upon arrival. Sitting around the fire and in the hot tub were my favorite things to do here. The cabin has such a homey, lived in feeling that we immediately relaxed and enjoyed the vibe. We would stay here again if we ever make it back!

We always go tot Tennessee for our Christmas Vacation with the family. This year we chose the Boone area! So glad we did. I was able to find this beautiful cabin, in a beautiful gated community ?? The pictures on the website does not do it justice! The home was absolutely beautiful and well taken care of! We have four children ages from 4-10 and they loved all the board games, hot tub, the fireplace, and just being able to see the beautiful view from the balcony. Thank you for a great stay!

We enjoyed the cabin. Plenty of space for the family to spread out. Fireplace and hot tub were great, too. Close to Boone and Blowing Rock. We would recommend!

This house was perfect for our long weekend! It's located in a great neighborhood close to Tweetsie and many other attractions in Boone. The hot tub was perfect and just the right size. The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely book this house again next year!

Great getaway for our group! We had large enough group that we needed 2 houses & Blue Ridge Rentals helped us find the perfect setup! Daniel Boone Inn & River Ridge houses were both great houses & perfect spot for our tubing trip on the New River. We would definitely stay here again & use Blue Ridge Rentals

The house was well appointed (plenty of towels and well stocked kitchen including a griddle, which made breakfast a delight), clean, and just what we needed for a long weekend. The winding roads and nearby creek/river were helpful in leaving the stress of daily life behind. We had a great time.

I stayed at River Ridge, near Boone, while visiting with my daughter who attends App State. The cabin was very clean & cozy, with plenty of space. I learned that when a site gives you specific driving instructions, follow them, and ignore the gps. I had a wonderful time & look forward to future cabin stays with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals.

The cabin is just as pictured in the listing. Eventho it was just the two of us that stayed, the cabin would have been spacious enough for our 3 teens and both fur kids to have enjoyed as well. The kitchen has plenty of cookware for whatever level of cooking you'd like to do. We were able to watch some wildlife near the cabin and enjoy morning on the back deck with beautiful views of the NC mountains. Close enough to downtown Boone, NC for dining and shopping.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away in Boone. We spent the weekend playing games and exploring the outdoors. The house was very clean and we were overall satisfied with the stocking of the kitchen with dishes/utensils/and spices. We brought our dogs, who enjoyed being able to explore the porch safely due to the baby gate across the stairs. The pet fee is $25 per dog per day. This was new to me. We also enjoyed the hot tub under the stars! I don't believe I have stayed in an airbnb that was managed by a rental company, they sent lots of emails, information, and contracts. That also comes with amenities if you want like grocery or firewood delivery. They do have an exterior camera to the front, so can tell how many cars/dogs you bring. Spending time on the back porch felt very private and scenic.
