Pisgah Heights

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pisgah Heights. The layout of the cabin and furnishings were comfortable and inviting. The kitchen had everything we needed. The view of the New River and the mountains was one of the best we have ever seen. Since we had two days of rain, we were glad we selected this cabin. The comfort of the cabin and the view helped us appreciate the mountains even more and we just relaxed and enjoyed it. The cabin is within minutes of West Jefferson and was a short drive to Blowing Rock and Boone. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and privacy of the small neighborhood located on the mountain ridge. We intend to return to Pisgah Heights.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Pisgah Heights. The house was clean, and kitchen had all the items needed for meals. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals kept us updated with check in and check out information before and during our stay. Electronic entry system worked flawlessly. We will be renting houses with Blue Ridge again in the future.

Great property with fantastic view. Property was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Would stay again. There is a drop off at the back of the house that is not fenced.

Pisgah Heights has the best view of the New River surrounded by beautiful mountains! It is a unique blend of log cabin, with newer additions added on. Very comfortable, especially the King size bed, with full bathroom. The cabin does not disappoint! Only regret is I did not get for a longer stay! Very restful and peaceful.

My wife and I very much enjoyed our 3 night stay. The master bed, bathroom and shower were very nice, but we mainly came for the view and the fire pit. Unfortunately it was very windy up on the hill, which limited our fire use, but the view was spectacular!

The most charming old school cottage charm with all modern updates. We come to the mountains alot and rent different properties to experience. This was one of the most spectacular views we’ve experienced. So enjoyed the fire pit every night and star gazing left us speechless. We could see the Milky Way! It’s quiet and peaceful yet close to so much. The home is beautifully decorated and pieces of the cabin’s history are all around. The beds were very cozy. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. If you have small children that enjoy playing in the yard, note that the backyard is small with quite a drop off. Certainly not a complaint, just something to be aware of.

We loved this cozy home, comfortable bed and furniture, nicely decorated, wifi and cell (Verizon) worked great. Everything was clean and nice. The view was awesome and we enjoyed sitting o the back patio, drinking our coffee and seeing the New River. The location is convenient to restaurants and groceries (Ingles/Walmart). Definitely recommend!

Rustic and beautiful the cabin was delightful. My family and I were visiting other family in the area and it was an absolutely beautiful view of the New River. The accommodations were very cozy and we would certainly come back and visit again. Thank you so much!

Great spot with long distance views! Cabin has lots of charm and character! It was very clean and relaxing. This cabin is great for older adults because of not stairs and easy excess from paved road. Very close to West Jefferson and near by restaurants.

This house is great. It is well appointed and very attractive. The furnishings are tasteful and attractive. The view is worth the rental. The master bath and bedroom are quite spacious. The other two bedrooms and bath are smallish.

We have rented here for the last 2 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. From opening the door you feel the comfortable cabin/house feeling. Everything you need is here. Open the door to the outside and you are in awww. Seeing mother nature’s beautiful canopy . Down below the new river where you can tube, walk the river . It’s just the greatest place to rent

We stayed here for a short weekend getaway. The house was perfect! Beautiful view out the back. I have never stayed in a place that was so clean. Spotless. The decor was tasteful. Close to the blue ridge parkway. We ate downtown at a couple of good restaurants. Near a grocery store. Easy ride to Boone and Blowing rock.

Overall our stay was great! The view of the New River and mountains was awesome! Paved road with easy access to pull our motorcycle up. We were only a few miles away from West Jeffson. The cabin itself was nice and cozy Love the West Jefferson area.

This house was in a nice area and felt like you are away from people even though there are few houses around. The decor was very nice and had plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor patio and space is amazing and the view is just as amazing! Loved every minute of being there!

This rental was amazing. The view is something you have to experience . The cabin( house) was everything we were looking for and the history of the place was interesting. I cannot forget all the constellations and the fireflies that were so abundant it looked liked Christmas lights flickering.

Cabin is as advertised - cozy and well decorated. View of mountains/river is outstanding! Loved sitting out at any time (if it's not raining) - mornings, afternoon, or evening by the fire pit. Firefly display at night was added bonus. Note that kitchen is very small...we only had 4 people here, so it was fine, 6 may feel a little crowded.

The cabin was so nice we love the decors and the view was breathtaking I never seen anything like it before. It was our first time coming to any mountains and it was perfect. I wish I could go back right now. The beds slept so good probably the best sleep I have had in years.

Our group stayed 6 nights and really enjoyed ourselves. The cabin is cozy with just the right amenities and accommodations. It is just a short drive to downtown, which has great dining and shopping options. There are also quite a few hiking spots with the most amazing sites to see. We spent our mornings sipping coffee and looking out at the gorgeous view, while our evenings we spent by the campfire. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms met everyone's needs. We will definitely be back!

Beautifully appointed, yet comfortable spacious cabin with all the amenities. The location had plenty attractions, relaxing time on the river—sitting on the quiet sandy beach(next time we’re going tubing and kayaking), lovely eclectic shops and restaurants in town and a great golf course, but we chose to stay mostly at the cabin to relax and ENJOY THE INCREDIBLE VIEWS MOUNTAIN AND RIVER VIEWS.

The twin river view is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. If you are looking for a romantic get away this is the place to go. A short drive to shopping and restaurants, or stay in and cook a nice dinner with the fully equipped kitchen. Nice renovated bathrooms and comfy beds & furniture, hardwood floors & fireplace. Loved our weekend getaway and you will too!
