Beautiful location and spotless. Only con was many of the fun-room things did not work like Skee-Ball, the Nascar game, and the Jukebox and these were solely the reason we booked this place. BlueRidge mountain rentals have agreed to recompensate for this loss so I will update and let you know! Everything else was perfect though! Beautiful home and location.

The cabin was great. It was easy to find and a great location. had lots of amenities (though a couple of games weren't working, which was disappointing) we still had plenty to keep us busy. The yard was huge, firepit was nice and right on the river. The tubes were a nice added touch. Would diffently stay again.

This cabin is a great location for any trip. The drive isn't up a steep mountain so it was very easy to get to. They have a great game room downstairs and playset outside. It is right on a river which would be great for summer/spring time. I am planning to book this place again in the future!

At this cheap of a cost, the house is amazing. Great for a group that's looking to spend most of the time in and around the home, there's lots to do. Any issues that came up, (they very minimal impact), the host was extremely responsive and offered help or a technician if we really wanted one. The location is secluded enough for a getaway feeling however you're in close proximity to everything you could ever want.

We never had a problem with getting ahold of them and not once did we have an issue. It was nice to be right beside the river, as some of us took a ride on the provided tubes down about a mile and half. We will definitely stay again!!

We enjoyed this spacious family cabin! The location on the River was so relaxing. The covered porches were perfect for sipping morning coffee in the morning and dining at the picnic table in the afternoon & evenings. The fire pit surrounded by chairs was terrific for roasting hotdogs & marshmallows. The inside was well equipped, and the pub table was great for evening card games. The basement was the highlight for kids from 17 to 75 during the evenings! Ping Pong, Pool, Skeet Ball, Foos Ball, Arcade Games and a Juke Box provided competition, laughter and family fun!

Beautiful cabin with a great location on the river. The kids had a blast in the game room while the adults were able to relax on the back porch and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and surrounding pastoral setting. Only “negative” was that there is a mildewy puddle of water forming around the hot tub when we arrived, and some of the cookware in the kitchen is old and/or dirty and needs to be replaced. We still give the cabin 5 stars!

We had a wonderful, extended weekend for our daughter’s graduation from App State. The roads leading to the house are quite narrow and winding, once we turned off 421. When we pulled into the driveway, we couldn’t wait to get inside! We were SO excited about just how beautiful the home was. The furniture was very comfortable, for the most part. A couple of the beds had slight dips in the center (in upstairs bedroom and loft area). The kitchen had everything we needed and MORE! The extra amenities were great and were a BIG part of the reason we chose this property. The only thing we were unable to do was enjoy a fire down by the river, simply because of the weather and/or our schedule. We took full advantage of all the games on the ground level, the hot tub, and many in our group even got to float down the river on the tubes!
I do wish there were a couple mirrors, other than just in the bathrooms.
HAZARD: The grill MUST be cleaned!! The bottom, inside, caught fire!!

The house was wonderful - comfortable beds, plenty of space, beautiful scenery, clean facilities. I took off for cleanliness because there were dirty dishes stored back in the kitchen cabinets that we needed to wash before using (old food crusted on from the dishwasher not cleaning properly). This issue is most likely related to the previous guests since one of the check-out requirements to stay here is that the dishwasher must be run before checking out. I don't fault the property owner for this error.

Lastly there's a little restaurant Riverside Restaurant and Provisions right down the road with a wide variety of options on the menu. Overall, we had wonderful experience and are looking forward to going back in the summer.

S’mores at the fire pit, an Easter egg hunt in the backyard with our small kids, playing checkers overlooking the river, spending lots of time in the game room and riding bicycles. There was also a binder with info on things to do, what’s around, etc. I would definitely recommend! We wouldn’t mind coming back sometime in the future. We booked this house for our daughter’s graduation from App State. It was beautifully located along the New River and a convenient 15 minutes drive from campus. We thought the house was awesome! We found it well kept both inside and outside. The beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and clean with. The owners have done an excellent job providing everything you need for a good active time for the whole family. The basement has a full game room. There are bicycles, river tubs, fishing rods, basketballs, PlayStation and hot tub. The fire pit was a great place sit and relax at night. Plenty of towels and linens were provided.

The owners have done an excellent job providing everything you need for a good active time for the whole family. The basement has a full game room. There are bicycles, river tubs, fishing rods, basketballs, PlayStation and hot tub. The fire pit was a great place sit and relax at night. Plenty of towels and linens were provided.

Home was well kept and came equipped with a full array off essentials. 9 of us slept comfortably with room for more. Home was in the middle of lots of attractions... grandfather mountain, cascade trails, numerous waterfalls!! Beautiful views from Home would definitely visit again.

My family stayed 3 nights and 4 days.wish it was longer. We all had a great time. Cabin was beautiful and was fully stocked with all the Necessities. Plenty to do. Game room was awesome. My grandchildren loved.it. will definitely book again.

This was a great time for the entire family. We attended the ASU football game, but until that time we enjoyed all the amenities of the home. The New River, the fire pit, the hot tub, the game room, the bicycles, etc. were enjoyed by everyone. This place has everything you could imagine you would need. We will be back! :)

This is a great house. We loved it and owner was very helpful. The kids loved the game room and firepit outside. So much nicer than staying in a hotel and not far from Boone or shopping. Peaceful and the house had great beds. We would definitely stay there again. The only problem we had was that we could not stay longer!! We Loved this house.

This is truly one of the best mountain places we have ever stayed! Our vacations are varied, and we like to visit different resorts/rentals when traveling, but this is one place we would definitely return to in the future. The owner was extremely helpful with every question we had, even in the midst of a family emergency. She answered my emails/texts quickly and completely. The cabin has everything you could want and was the perfect place for our family of five. Each child had their own room with extra space leftover. The downstairs game room had something for everyone, and we spent time there every night - made for great family competition! The hot tub was a nice, relaxing way to end the evening. We were pleasantly surprised to find more than the basics in the kitchen to help us in preparing our breakfasts before we headed out to explore each day. We look forward to coming back in the summer and experiencing the fun river activities - tubing, kayaking, etc. We would highly recommend this beautiful cabin!

We stayed at New River Ramble during the NCAA tournameny. It was great - we wanted to get away and watch basketball. The televisions were great, the game room downstairs is incredible, and the back yard leading to the river is the best part. Couldn't ask for more!

Thank for allowing my family create life long memories in your home. The owner was great to work with and the home was breath taking . It had everything you could possibly need for ages 1 to 100. My favorite was sitting at the fire pit by the river. The kids favorite was the game room. Their home has it all. I hope to return in the summer when we can enjoy the river. And enjoy the hot tub. This cabin is a hidden treasure! Beautiful, very cozy, roomy and it has all sorts of entertainment for kids and adults! We had lots of fun fishing in the river and playing with the snow... the play room was awesome! Truly loved and enjoyed our time there!

This is an awesome mountain home conveniently located to Boone NC. Perfect house for all ages equipped with everything you will need and more. Full arcade was a plus for the kids. Kitchen supplied with all necessities. Décor was beautiful beds slept great. Went for the weekend but look forward to return for a week stay. Highly recommend this home. This was our first time in the mountains and we had an amazing time. It was our kids birthday and they were blown away by everything the cabin had to offer. We had initially planned to stay for two nights but my children and I fell in love with the cabin so we extended our stay. The cabin was beautifully decorated for the season, it definitely felt like home. The warmth and peaceful feeling were exactly what we needed and were looking for when we planned our trip. The owner of the cabin was very helpful and made our stay enjoyable and easy. We have build unforgettable family memories in this place. It has been a blessing and we are looking forward to returning back soon.

This well maintained house is easily accessible from the main road, no need for 4 wheel drive. We spent the weekend here with our 2 sons ages 16 and 18 along with our friends and some of my sons college friends (9 people total). The group played football and frisbee in the grassy yard, skipped rocks and fly fished in the river, enjoyed eating our meals out on the picnic table, made s'mores and sat by the fire pit at night and then went in to play games in the game room and then soak in the hot tub! We also had fun riding the 2 bikes along the picturesque (and flat!) road which follows the river. The owners have thought of everything you might need - starter logs for the fire, beach towels for the hot tub, etc. It's worth having to share 2 bathrooms to be able to enjoy all this house has to offer!

The house itself was warm and accommodating with comforting interior.
