We really appreciated the towels for the hot tub, which was clean and ready. Very close to town and not a difficult drive. The property as a whole is beautiful. We will try to repeat the trip during the summer.

This is our third summer in a row staying at Mountain Time in Boone. Perfect location, lovely and relaxing layout of fully stocked and very clean home. Make sure to visit Grandfather Vineyards when there is music. Our favorite thing to do. No doubt we will return next year!

Visiting Boone was the perfect getaway!! This location was the perfect mix of plenty of "civilization" (restaurants, grocery stores, etc) and of getting away in the woods for plenty of hiking. The house was extremely well stocked of all the essentials, far more than what is advertised on the listing - which was very much appreciated!! It was super clean and was presented very beautifully! It had tons of blankets (which was great because downstairs was always cooler than upstairs as there isn't a zone system for the heating/cooling), lots of clean towels (a full set of washcloth, hand towel, and full bath towel on each bed), tons of extra pillows for the beds and sofas, towels for the hot tub, and travel size toiletries in each bathroom. Everything is clearly thought out for their guests and it really showed. They even had marshmallow sticks for the firepit outside and deer corn to feed the pack of deer that graze/live around the house. The stay was absolutely perfect!! Would love to come back again - I highly recommend this house!

This cabin is one of the best properties I’ve ever rented. The attention to detail was unmatched and the cabin itself was spotless. We loved sitting on the porch during the day and enjoying the hot tub & firepit at night. It was a good location for exploring Boone, Banner Elk & Blowing Rock. We traveled with small children and a dog and it was perfectly safe and well laid out. I cannot even begin to try to name all that we loved about this cabin but we will be recommending it to all of our friends and would definitely rent again!

From the minute we booked the cabin, we felt taken care of. The rental company was great and super helpful. When we arrived at the cabin it was very clean and ready for us to stay. We LOVED our time at this home. The location was spectacular! The home was beautiful, private, clean, open and relaxing. The best part for our family was the close proximity to EVERYTHING we wanted to do on our vacation. We were less than 40 minutes to everything on our list (Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Beech Mountain, Boone) which made it easy for an adventure daily. We loved coming back here before dinner and enjoying a fire or the hot tub. We will definitely be staying here again!!

Our first time going to Boone Blue Ridge Area and being from New England Mountains this place brought back a lot of fun memories of home. The Cabin was in the perfect nestled area in Boone being 15-30 minutes away from so much mountain life activity. Our dog was beyond happy taking daily hikes watching nature’s wild life. My family enjoyed our stay at Mountain Time. It was perfect for our visit to celebrate our daughters graduation from App State. We have been coming to Boone for the last seven years for App State football, family weekends and three previous graduations of our older daughter and son-in-law! We decided this was our favorite house we have stayed in! The house checked all of our boxes! The house was very comfortable and everything we needed was provided. The beds were also very comfortable! It was the first house we stayed in that did not have a lockbox with a key or a keypad for entry. This was the only reason I did not give five stars for everything. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks for sharing your home!

We had a great stay at Mountain Time cabin. The kitchen was very well stocked with just about anything you need to make great breakfasts and dinners. The waffle maker was a plus, my hint is separate the eggs and whip the egg whites, then fold in to the batter, makes for a real light waffle. Back to the review: the weather wasn't the best, but we enjoyed the fireplace. Several wineries were close by too. The property is well kept and the cabin was clean. We also enjoyed the hot tub. A great getaway.

Something to think about would be to have keyless entry. So that you don't have to drive out of your way twice to deal with the keys. Not a big deal!

The house had everything you could ask for, super warm, fully equipped kitchen, games, Hot Tub & even full size beach towels in a lovely basket ready for us to jump out of the Hot Hot Tub. We really enjoyed staying at Mountain Time. Be prepared the roads are windy getting up there but it is beautiful once you arrive. The property has everything it advertises. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. The kitchen is well equipped as well although limited countertop space to prep food. Boone was about fifteen minutes and Blowing Rock was between 20-30 minutes. We saw deer every morning. It is a great house for families. The adults had adult time upstairs and the kids had fun in the lower level.

Great cabin. Location is convenient to everything. Easy to get to this cabin. The kitchen was full of everything for cooking. Even a waffle maker. Decorated beautifully. Throw blankets were cozy. Had a family gathering for the New Year at this beautiful cabin! It is very wellappointed, clean, and conveniently located. The furnishings are pleasant and comfortable. We enjoyed the two fireplaces and firepit along with the hot tub. As return renters with Valle Crucis Log Cabins, we are quite satisfied with their courteous professionalism. They make the rental process quick and easy with all questions answered in a timely fashion. As such, we will be renting with them again!

Beautiful, cozy, super clean cabin with tons of charm and amenities. Enjoyed the woodsy mountain view from rockers on the upper deck and destressed in the fun hot tub on lower deck. Very well stocked kitchen with great Samsung appliances for easy preparation of gourmet meals enjoyed at the large wooden dining table surrounded by huge windows overlooking the outdoors. Very comfortabe 3 beds and baths and cozy fireplace. Wish I'd stayed longer!

My husband and I with our 1 year old daughter, sister and brother in law, and our 3 dogs all had a such a fun, relaxing stay at Mountain Time. Considering the current climate with COVID-19, we didn’t go into town much but we thoroughly enjoyed just spending time on property including the hot tub, fire pit, spacious decks, and open concept living space. The property is very private and is landscaped in a way that there is a natural barrier forming a sort of “fence” for the dogs which was a huge plus. The neighborhood is fun to explore with a pond nearby where we saw families fishing. A short drive to the Valle Crucis community park, which is beautiful, and the Mast General Store. Beds were comfy with lots of extra pillows and blankets, fully stocked kitchen, and awesome grill. Easy check in process and great communication from booking through check out. I highly recommend this property for your next mountain getaway!

This house is spacious with 3 bedrooms, multiple decks and a nice open floor plan with dining table and living room. Every room has flat screen TV with cable. There is a second living room area on the lower floor with DVD player and large flat screen in case your children or teens want to watch something different than the adults. There are a multitude of iPad, iPhone chargers throughout the house as well as night lights. The hot tub is wonderful particularly if like us you spent every day on strenuous hikes. I can't emphasize how private this property feels. It has a pretty sloping back yard where we could run our dog around. The fire pit is huge and really nice for making smore's or just relaxing. The pond at the bottom of the road is stocked with blue gill and small bass. My kids loved this. They were out there every night and caught a boat load of fish. It's catch and release-so the blue gills are huge. So fun and no license required. The location is very close to Boone for restaurants and also to the Blue Ridge Parkway to access superb hikes. Highly recommend Rough Ridge trail. Amazing overlook views without the technical aspects of Grandfather mountain trail which I would not recommend if you have kids under 11 or 12. The property managers were great. Checked on us once, but honestly we didn't need a thing. Could not have asked for a better vacation. We can't wait to come back. Thank you!

Mountain time was a great find! My husband and I and our three kids (ages 8, 5, and almost 2) really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, had so many well thought out details (charging plugs everywhere, an Amazon echo dot to enjoy music, board games to play!) We had our local family over to enjoy s'more on the fire pit one night and loved the wrap around deck and open layout in the main living area. We tried out the hot tub but found it a little warm for the warm evening. Overall we had a wonderful time and would love to return.

We loved staying at Mountain Time. We could see some improvements had been made since our stay there last year, new appliances, new chair, pillows, etc. It is located in a very convenient place to be able to get to the surrounding towns and scenic areas. My girlfriend and I stayed here for a relaxing weekend. The location was secluded and quiet, the view of the surrounding forest was great and the interior of the house was clean with updated appliances. We greatly enjoyed our time here and look forward to coming back soon!
