Tucked into the woods just outside Banner Elk, Mountainside Charm is a welcoming mountain cabin filled with warm wood finishes, rustic stonework, cozy gathering spaces, and plenty of room to enjoy the peaceful High Country setting.
Inside, the living room invites you to settle in and stay awhile. Comfortable furnishings, rich wood paneling, and a stone fireplace create the classic cabin atmosphere everyone hopes to find in the mountains. It’s an easy place to unwind with a movie, curl up with a good book, or simply enjoy a quiet evening together.
The nearby kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and plenty of prep space for everything from a quick breakfast before hitting the slopes to a relaxed dinner back at the cabin. A dining area nearby gives everyone a comfortable place to gather for meals, coffee, or a friendly game of cards.
Time for bed? Mountainside Charm features two bedrooms, one with a Queen bed and one with a Queen bed and a set of twin-over-twin bunk beds. Both bedrooms continue the home’s cozy mountain character, and each offers its own fireplace for an extra touch of warmth and comfort. The main level ensuite bathroom includes a jetted tub, perfect for soaking after a long day of hiking or skiing. Additional conveniences include partial air conditioning and a private washer and dryer.
The outdoor spaces are where Mountainside Charm really shines. Multiple covered decks overlook the peaceful wooded surroundings, giving you plenty of places to slow down and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Rocking chairs, outdoor dining space, a gas grill, and a porch swing make it easy to spend hours outside, while the sounds of the nearby river add to the relaxing setting.
When you’re ready to explore, you’ll be within easy reach of downtown Banner Elk, Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain, local wineries, restaurants, shops, and countless outdoor adventures. Depending on the season, enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, hiking, mountain biking, golfing, fishing, and more.
Whether you spend your days exploring the High Country or simply relaxing on the deck beneath the trees, Mountainside Charm offers the kind of comfortable, unhurried mountain getaway that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy your time away.
ADDITIONAL INFO & NOTES
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
