Welcome to Moody Creek Cottage, a comfortable and welcoming mountain home tucked among the trees by the creek just outside Boone. This is the kind of mountain getaway where you can settle in, slow down, and spend some good old-fashioned time together.
Inside, you'll find a spacious living area with plenty of comfortable seating for the whole crew. Kick back after a day of exploring Boone and the surrounding High Country, watch a favorite movie, or simply enjoy an evening together. The full kitchen has everything you need for home-cooked breakfasts and family dinners, with a nearby dining area that's just as well suited for a round of cards or a board game after supper.
Comfortable bedrooms give everyone a place to recharge at the end of the day, including two bedrooms each with a King bed and a cheerful room with two twin beds that's a great fit for kids or additional guests. With multiple bathrooms and plenty of room to spread out, Moody Creek Cottage makes an easy home base for families and friends traveling together.
The real heart of this home is outside. The spacious outdoor living areas invite you to spend as much time in the fresh mountain air as possible. Pull up a stool at the covered outdoor bar, settle into an Adirondack chair beneath the trees, enjoy lunch at the picnic table, or gather around the fire pit when the evening turns cool. There's plenty of deck and patio space for everyone to find their favorite spot.
And then there's the creek itself. A rocky mountain creek winds through the wooded property, bringing the peaceful sound of flowing water to this already relaxing setting. Wander down to the creek, explore the yard, or simply sit back on the porch and enjoy being surrounded by the sights and sounds of the mountains.
Conveniently located between Boone and Banner Elk, Moody Creek Cottage puts High Country adventures within easy reach while giving you a comfortable place to come home to at the end of the day.
ADDITIONAL NOTES & INFORMATION
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
