Welcome to Modern Almost Heaven, a brand-new Boone retreat where clean contemporary style meets the wild beauty of the High Country. Designed with connection, comfort, and unforgettable moments in mind, this three-bedroom, three- and-a-half-bath home pairs sweeping year-round mountain views, including Grandfather Mountain, with spaces made for both unwinding and having a little fun.

From the moment you walk through the door, the home feels bright, polished, and effortlessly inviting. Floor-to-ceiling windows and an open, airy layout keep the mountains front and center, while thoughtful finishes and modern furnishings create a space that feels as good as it looks.
Settle into the living room with a wood-burning fireplace and Smart TV after a day on the trails, or gather around the dining table for a long, easy dinner with your favorite people. The sleek, fully equipped kitchen makes cooking at home a pleasure and includes a drip coffee maker.
The main-level primary suite makes settling in especially easy, while all three bedrooms offer comfortable retreats of their own. With three full bathrooms and an additional half bath, everyone can enjoy plenty of space and privacy. The home accommodates up to 10 guests.

Modern Almost Heaven is more than a beautiful place to stay — it’s designed to keep everyone entertained. Challenge your group to a game of foosball, find the home’s tucked-away secret reading nook, or take the competition outside with a disc golf basket and included discs on the property. Downstairs, a Pop-A-Shot basketball game adds another excuse to keep the games going. Then there are the spaces made for slowing down. Pour your morning coffee and step onto the covered deck to watch the mountains wake up. Spend the afternoon outside taking in the scenery. As the sun goes down, fire up the fire pit or sink into the private hot tub and watch the stars appear overhead.

Here, the best moments tend to be the simplest ones: coffee with a view, laughter over a backyard game, a quiet afternoon on the deck, or a late-night soak beneath the Carolina sky.

Everything you need. Nothing you don’t. Thoughtful amenities make it easy to settle in and stay awhile, including central heating and air conditioning, High Speed WiFi, high-definition TVs, linens, and an EV charger. The home is
also pet-friendly for up to two pets, so your four-legged family members can join the adventure. Exterior security cameras provide added peace of mind. And when you’re ready to explore, Boone puts the best of the High Country within easy reach — from outdoor adventures and scenic drives to local restaurants, shopping, and attractions.

Additional notes: 
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- You may purchase firewood for the indoor fireplace from us and have it delivered prior to your arrival. This service requires one-week notice prior to arrival, no exceptions. The cost for firewood is $25 per night, plus 12.75% tax. Each night purchased includes 2 small bundles (each bundle contains 6-8 pieces of wood) and 1 fire starter log.
- Stayed with us before? Repeat guests returning to Modern Almost Heaven can receive a 10% room rent discount, not to be stacked with other discounts.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. 
- This home is pet friendly. Two mature, well-trained dogs allowed with an additional $25 per day, per dog plus tax.  The home has two dog crates, mattresses, and a baby gate to secure dogs on the deck, although it will be required they are crated when renters are away from house.
- To ensure the home remains safe, the owners have an outdoor doorbell camera that faces toward the driveway.  There are no cameras inside, or facing toward the interior of the home. 
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- Guests can enjoy easy to access roads leading to and from the home however, AWD or 4WD vehicles may be required in the winter months or in times of inclement weather. Chains may also be necessary. 
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
