Log Heaven was great! Not too far from town, but on a nice quiet road. The cabin was beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped and we loved the outdoor fireplace on the deck. Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay! Our internet wasn't working one evening and they sent someone out to come fix it quickly! Only little thing was our door code did not work when we arrived and had to call for a new code.

The outside deck with the fireplace and hot tub were very enjoyable. We had a difficult time getting in as the keyless entry was not working and we did not have cell service in this area.

Our stay at Log Heaven in Banner Elk was awesome. Great house, great location. Communication from Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals was very good from start to finish. A special shout out to Rodena. We checked out of the house around 9:30 am and found out our car battery died. I called BRMR to let them know what happened and we were waiting for road assistance to arrive. Rodena extended our stay for an hour in case we needed to use the facilities. The only hiccup was when checking in. The code given to me to enter the house via text and email didn't work so had to call to gain entry into the house. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the lady that assisted me but she was very helpful as well. If in the area again, will definitely use BRMR again!

We loved the location of this house for hiking, sightseeing, etc. It was about 25-30 minutes to Blowing Rock, Boone, and Grandfather Mountain. Banner Elk is a cute little town as well with nice restaurants/taverns. The house was very clean and stocked with utensils, towels, etc. If staying longer than a day or two, bring shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The outdoor fireplace and hot tub were awesome, especially after a day of hiking. The only negative, we had to go out and buy a lighter to start the fireplace on the deck. Highly recommend this rental. Hopefully we'll be back if in the area again.

The cabin was fantastic, what made it special every day around happy hour it poured down rain and with the tin roof and the fireplace burning on a cool damp night made the night special One suggestion on the upstairs bedroom a futon or fold out bed would made it more convenient for a couple that don't sleep together or for a child to sleep separately.

Went for Grandfather Mountain Highland Games so my daughter could compete. This was the perfect place after a day of stress and dancing. My girls loved the hot tub and the absolute peace and quiet. My wife and I stayed in this lovely home and enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately the heat went out on the second night but the rental company was very nice and had a company come out and repair the system. They also had another cabin that we could have moved to just in case the system wasn’t repaired for the next night. Very helpful and accommodating!!

Pleasantly surprised by how close the house was to the creek. Listening to the sound of the creek while sitting by the outdoor fireplace was definitely a highlight to our stay. The porch is so cozy and peaceful! We wish the hot tub would have been covered because we didn't get to enjoy it due to the weather. However, we did enjoy playing pool. Some shots were a little tight to make due to the space provided but it was nice to have some indoor fun on the days we couldn't spend outside. Definitely loved the fact it was secluded. We would absolutely recommend this beautiful home to friends and family!

The sounds of the calling birds and flowing stream were exactly what we wanted to escape from our busy lives. This is a well stocked cabin with lots of attention to detail. We were in town for a weekend graduation celebration. It was the perfect place; grill, hammock, outdoor fireplace, hot tub and not too far from town. My husband and I had an excellent 7 night stay at this amazing mountain log cabin. Check in was simple, the house was spotless, and had everything we needed. The wraparound porch was our favorite place to sit and listen to the babbling brook with our morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evenings. The hot tub was wonderful! The bed was comfy and the master bath was huge. We explored the area but every day we couldn't to get back to our cozy Log Heaven in the woods! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!!

The swing and hammock both gave such a very nice romantic touch! The hot tub was very, very clean! And oh, so relaxing! This house has all the amenities imaginable! And the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need and more! I especially enjoyed reading the little notes throughout the house for necessary instructions and the labels on all of the light switches were very helpful!. How thoughtful! Log Heaven was absolutely fantastic! It is centrally located to many hiking spots and waterfalls, yet incredibly private. It is also very well appointed. The outdoor wood burning fireplace is able to be enjoyed even in inclement weather with the wrap around covered porch. The indoor gas fireplace lights at the touch of a button. The hot tub was clean and relaxing. We took a nap on the hammock while listening to the sounds of the brook below. We were able to fit in a few games of pool in the downstairs recreation room. We cooked many meals in the full kitchen. The bed in the master was huge and very comfortable. I could go on and on. We will be back as soon as we can!

Log Heaven was absolutely fantastic! It is centrally located to many hiking spots and waterfalls, yet incredibly private. It is also very well appointed. The outdoor wood burning fireplace is able to be enjoyed even in inclement weather with the wrap around covered porch. The indoor gas fireplace lights at the touch of a button. My weekend at Log Heaven was absolutely the most relaxing weekend of my life. I shopped before getting to the cabin and to my surprise I enjoyed being at the home so much I didn't even leave the entire weekend! The home was comfortable and offer everything and more than I needed. The living room fireplace was amazing. I spent many hours on the porch listening to the creek and watching wildlife. The hot tub was very clean and offer an amazing view of the stars. 100% recommend. I will be back!

We were lucky to get non stop snow since are arrival which made for perfect ski conditions. Absolutely beautiful home in a tranquil setting. Immaculate and everything you need for your stay. We really enjoyed the fireplaces as we were there when it dipped to the 20’s. We will be back and hope to rent again but longer. We saw probably 20 deer coming in on Rominger and that was breathtaking. Awesome cabin with beautiful work work, craftsmanship and decor. The deck was huge and the outdoor stone fireplace was the bomb. We could have spent the entire time lounging on the comfortable deck furniture listening to the sounds of nature. The babbling brook/stream was one reason we selected this place and it didn't disappoint as it sounded so relaxing. The cabin was tucked into the woods and very private. Everything was very clean and fully stocked. We only rented the one room on the main floor but the living space was large. While we didn't use the downstairs it has a nice pool table and plenty of places to relax and play games. We also didn't get the opportunity to use the hot tub but that too looked inviting. If you prefer a place away from the hustle and bustle (as Valle Crucis is very relaxed) then look no further. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

We love the private and peaceful surroundings with the sound of Crab Orchard Creek flowing down below. We were in awe our entire stay. The cabin was perfect! A lot of effort went into decorating and making sure there’s something for everyone. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for a peaceful setting, this is your place. The cabin is remote but still centrally located to visit multiple sites along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cleanliness of the cabin was outstanding, kitchen amenities had everything you needed. Perfect place to unwind, enjoy the hot tub, play a game of pool or just listen to the running brook while enjoying the fireplace. We got to enjoy this season's first snow fall! Definitely would rent this cabin again.

Located at the top of a hill, accessed by a winding mountain road, with lovely views all the way. Driveway quite steep, and narrow. Cabin itself was fully equipped with everything you would expect, actually anything anyone could expect. We didn’t use the outside fireplace, but it looked welcoming. We did use the inside fireplace, and it was also a very nice part of our cabin experience. Bed, we stayed downstairs, was very comfortable. One small problem, addressed instantly by the rental agent. Very quiet location, we were disappointed with the lack of wildlife. We rented in the woods specifically to hopefully see some wildlife, particularly birds. This is the only location where not a bird would come to our feeder, or be seen anywhere in the woods surrounding the home. And we sat out on the porch daily, for several hours. Nothing. A couple of squirrels and a couple of chipmunks. Reasonably convenient to shopping in Boone, and a nice starting point for a drive through the mountains. Opposite the rental office is a spectacular Community Park, great place to take a walk on some flat ground, right alongside the Watauga River. Lots of birds there. Don’t miss it. This is at least the 10th cabin we have rented up in the NC mountains. They have pretty much all been nice, each a little different. The lack of wildlife set this one apart. Really, very nice, nice people, nice location.

Cozy, quiet, clean! Staff was very helpful. Loved the King bed….very comfy. The best part about this house was that it’s secluded(other houses are around but you can’t see them thru the woods), and the porch!!!! We ate on the porch, laid in the hammock and listened to the creek and enjoyed the hot tub. We didn’t try out the outdoor fireplace but we will def be back to do so!!! The cleanest home we’ve rented!! Close enough to town but far enough away on the winding roads to get the true mountain feel! Thanks for having us and we will def be back at some point!!!

Great property. The house was more remote than we expected. It took more than 20 minutes to get anywhere and we had to be home before dark because the roads we so dark and curvy. Otherwise a lovely, relaxed stay.

We LOVED this house! It was amazing to be able to listen to Crab Orchard Creek way down below while spending quality time on the beautiful wrap-around porch sitting, eating, lying in the hammock, and enjoying the hot tub (conveniently located just outside of the main bedroom). The house itself was a beautiful modern-rustic home and we would have been fine staying inside the whole time we were there but it was great even in the rain being able to hang out outside and enjoy the beautiful vegetation (lots of mountain laurel) and privacy (a windy road takes you down to Mast General store in about 11 minutes so it wasn't too far away from civilization, even though it felt like). I would definitely like to stay here again!

Log Heaven was SUCH a hidden gem discovery! The pictures do NOT do it justice, it's way bigger and better than we could've imagined. As soon as you walk in you feel at home, very cozy and they even decorated for Christmas! Wrap around porch has multiple seating options and incredible view, you truly feel peacefully away from it all. All the amenities are great, hot tub, indoor jacuzzi, pool table, cozy furniture, etc. We have zero complaints and it was the perfect place to propose to my (now) fiance! We will be back ASAP!!

We had a great experience renting Log Heaven. The location was great; a short drive to Banner Elk as well as Grandfather and Linville. Although convenient to town, the cabin is very private. The cabin itself was great, and the pictures on VRBO don’t do it justice. Everything was in perfect working condition, and the porch was amazing. Would certainly recommend and would rent here again.

Great drive up NC 194. Wrap around porch is great for morning coffee and looking out into the woods and at the creek. Cabin was a great get away. We did not use all the amenities, (hot tub, whirlpool, pool table, etc.), but they are there for you!

The only minor issue with an otherwise delightful weeklong stay was some neighbors doing a little target practice on the weekend. My wife and I have stayed in many secluded locations in the mountains in North Carolina and this is relatively common. I just mentioned it because it may bother some people. Overall a wonderful stay and I can’t wait to return.

If you are looking for a place to escape, this is it! This place is also close to Beech Mountain Ski Resort if you are looking for skiing, snowboarding or tubing in the winter months. The wrap around porch was beautiful and the hot tub secluded. I can't think of anything negative to say about this place. This will be a place we would love to come back to visit.

We went for a getaway for my son’s birthday and absolutely loved the cabin. It was peaceful and very privately located. The kids especially loved to outdoor fireplace to make s’mores with. The rental company was very friendly and professional, we will definitely be using them again in the future.
