Wonderful place to stay for great views and peaceful stay. Close to Banner Elk and ski resorts. 4x4 vehicle is a must if there is inclement weather and handles the roads nicely. Banner Elk never disappoints and this weekend was no exception! We had the privilege of staying here on peak weekend for not only the fall color but also Wooly Worm Festival. The owner was an awesome host from beginning to end and even allowed us to bring along our 2 “old girls” (dogs) last minute. Directions were concise and brought us right up to the door. From the minute we walked in, we could instantly tell that this was someone’s home- not just another rental cabin. Every detail was thoughtfully planned to ensure that we had what we needed. We are fairly seasoned mountain renters so we brought mostly everything that we thought we would need from spices to extra paper towels, bathroom supplies, extra garbage bags… etc. Turns out he was a step ahead and that was already on hand. From firewood to chalk for the cue sticks to a well equipped kitchen, it was all perfect. THE VIEW!!!! Dinner at Artisanal was perfection but honestly, no need to leave. We thoroughly enjoyed this location. It was quiet, beautiful, and enjoyable. The house had the perfect mountain cabin vibe and the fireplace kept me warm on the cold nights. It was a great experience altogether and I would book again if I were to stay in the area. Owner was informative and very friendly! Beautiful cabin with beautiful views! Loved using the pool table! Cabin had everything you could possibly need ! Cabin was also close to nearby popular attractions! We will definitely be visiting there again!!:) (Left by Shaine in November 2023 under the home’s prior management)

We had a great time in Banner Elk and the cabin was amazing. A rustic decor but with all the modern amenities including a pool table that was used often, as well as a cozy living area with smart TVs for movie night and a great outdoor space with a fire pit and covered area for S’mores and night time fun! We’d highly recommend this cabin! (Left by Jeff in May 2025 under the home’s prior management)

Such a beautiful and peaceful cabin. The cabin is super clean, the property is perfect if you are looking for a peaceful place that is accessible to the beautiful mountains and nature that surrounds it. The property manager was extremely helpful with his detailed instructions on how to locate the home. With his instructions it was an easy find. I am sure that without them we wouldn't have located this awesome secluded gem. (Left by Andy in June 2026 under the home’s prior management)

Really nice cabin. Two good sized bedrooms, one up, one down, each with very nice bathrooms. The kitchen is very well stocked. Pool table and lots of board games. Awesome deck and the gazebo on the ground floor were also great. (Left by Scott in June 2025 under the home’s prior management)

Excellent cabin in the woods. The fire-pit and firewood made it even better. The driveway can be a little tough so make sure you have four wheel drive, period! Well stocked kitchen and the internet worked like a charm. Five stars! (Left by Matthew in March 2024 under the home’s prior management)

This cabin is the perfect mountain getaway! Beautiful location and cozy interiors. The host has thought of every detail to make the stay perfect, and is super helpful and responsive. This was our first trip to the area, and location is both very private up in the mountains and a close drive to Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain and downtown Banner Elk. Also less than 30 minutes drive to Hawksnest which was a must if you plan to go snowtubing! We would definitely stay here again! (Left by Melissa in January 2024 under the home’s prior management)
