This home was wonderfully suited for our family! Parking in the garage was a huge benefit since it was in the teens outside with snow on the ground and the playroom was a huge hit with our grandchildren. We loved our stay on the mountain!

Our Family visits Banner Elk and Beech Mountain every October. Usually I have to come in and still do a little cleaning in most of the places we have stayed. This home! Breath of fresh air. It was clean, cozy, beautiful view and we made some wonderful memories. We stayed 9 days.

The stay was relaxing. The home was beautiful, pleasant and clean. The view of the lake and mountains are gorgeous. The best thing of all about this location was the clear view of Big Dipper, over the lake between the mountains, from the deck. You must see it!

House was just as advertised - clean, spacious and good views. We had two families of 4 stay in the house and it was the perfect amount of private and communal space. All the amenities we needed were included - wash/dryer, coffee maker, kitchenware, games, etc. Very close to Buckeye Rec Center and 20 min drive to downtown Beech. We enjoyed our time! (Mgt note - this home is within the town limits of Beech Mountain and it's about 7 minutes, 2.8 miles, to downtown Beech :))

Lake Overlook exceeded our expectations in every way! The house was sparkling clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. There are so many fun games and activities in the house, and the Buckeye Recreation Center right across the road has any activity you can imagine. Day-passes are available for guests. Our favorite activity was relaxing and gazing at the gorgeous view from the porch!
We're already dreaming about our next visit with our whole family!

We had a wonderful time. House was awesome. Beds very comfy. Kitchen well stocked. Lots of fun things to do inside. The only thing that wasn't quite right, was there was one ping pong ball that was bent, no pool sticks, the previous tenants left their trash in garage and the door code didn't work. Still give this place a 5 star. We had to leave some of our trash and all of the previous tenants trash. We even took trash home since we don't live too far away. We could only get so much in trash bin. The after hours support had us in within minutes after door code failed. I reported trash, but it still didn't get picked up. It wasn't in our way, no big deal. I'm not sure where to buy ping pong balls in Beech Mtn. Lastly, the trash can in kitchen was hanging on by 1 small nail, we repaired it. Again 5 star. Great place.

The house was great with plenty of room for everyone. The kid enjoyed the game room downstairs, and the view of the lake and mountain was beautiful with the snow falling.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The house has lots of room and the downstairs game room was a huge hit with the grandkids. It snowed while we were there and the driveway is a bit of a challenge but a truck came and scraped the driveway and put down salt; very thoughtful of Blue Ridge to do that. Would definitely rent again.

We have vacationed in the mountains for several years now at different locations and this home by far has been the best. It was spacious and very well decorated. It had everything you could ever need as a home away from home. My family had fun playing ping pong and air hockey together. We seriously thought about asking to extend our stay because we loved it so much. The home was very clean and updated nicely. I highly recommend staying here.

We stayed at Lake Overlook with 5 grandkids so they could ski on Beech Mountain. The house was only 10 minutes from the slopes and tubing. The house was perfect for our family and the kids LOVED the ping pong table, air hockey and video games! Lots of competitions going on. The walk around Buckeye Lake across street is beautiful and not to be missed.

We enjoyed our quick (3 night) fall get away to the mountains. This house has a nice rec room with all kinds of fun for kids and kids at heart. It also overlooks a lake with a hiking trail going around it which we enjoyed going on one morning.We also drove to Sugar Mountain for an alpine coaster ride and gem mining and went to Boone for a visit to App State, the stores on the Main Street, and good drink/food at The Local.
