Kaylee's Kabin

We've stayed here 2 years ago under a different management company and liked it enough to come back. However under Blue Ridge cabin rentals we noticed improvements from our last visit. Such as the key entry pad, the cabin being even cleaner than last time, the Sojo packs in bathrooms and kitchen, the hot tub having a new cover, and the refrigerator not leaking water. Didn't know there was a problem with temperature reading in hot tub but I guess they did as someone came out Monday morning to fix it. They communicated with us via text and email several times during our stay, welcoming us and asking if we needed anything. One email offering us 50% off additional 3 days rental since nobody had rented it. Sounded good but could only stay 1 or 2 more days.Had they offered by day I would have taken them up on that. Not sure if the prior guests had put out all the corn ? around the wooded area by the fire pit or that's something new Blue Ridge did. But we enjoyed watching the deer come daily to eat the corn. This cabin is very close to my family's house in Banner Elk making it very convenient to visit with them. We also like having the fenced in porch allowing our dogs to enjoy the outside without worrying about them roaming off. We would definitely rent through Blue Ridge cabin rental again. (editors note - our Add A Night program is up to 3 additional nights. It is perfectly fine to just add 1 or 2 nights at the discounted rate).

We enjoyed our stay at Kaylee's Kabin—it's a beautiful cabin and in a secluded area. The pictures online are very accurate. We certainly had everything we needed for our week's stay. Both ends of the deck are gated which was nice for our dogs. There isn't much flat ground for walking dogs and the drive is all gravel. We ended up finding a few dog friendly parks in the area so they could enjoy longer walks and more outside time. The internet strength was very good. The main tv is a Vizio (which doesn't have the Direct tv app incl). We had brought our Roku stick and easily hooked that up so we were able to watch our favorite baseball team. The upstairs tv is a Roku. The beds were very comfortable, and power furniture in the living area was a bonus!! All in all a very wonderful stay and deserving of 5 stars.

Kaylee's Kabin was as advertised, maybe even better. The accommodations were clean, and the outside firepit and hot tub were a Godsend after each day of hiking. The location was secluded and private, but downtown Boone was an easy 10-minute drive; plus, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, and Blowing Rock were between 20 and 45 minutes away. We will definitely be back!

Kaylee's Kabin was a peaceful extended weekend getaway for our family of four and two pups! The cabin was spotless and everything was great. Very accommodating property and rental company. The hot tub was very welcoming on the freezing cold nights! Convenient to Boone (about a 10 minute drive)… DoorDash even delivered dinner one evening. We did not have to engage 4WD to get to the property, but could see icy/snowy conditions warranting it as it is at the top of a fairly steep, inclined, gravel drive. Will definitely recommend and stay here again if ever in the area… thanks for hosting us!

This is by far the best cabin we've ever rented! It was spotless and very well stocked. It has everything you need to cook any meal. The hot tub and wrap around porch was perfect for relaxing and stargazing. Lots of deer came in the back yard daily to eat and graze. The master bed was more comfortable than my own bed. Even though there are a few other cabins near by it feels secluded. We never heard or saw another person. We enjoyed fires in the fireplace each day and played lots of games and relaxed. Also, it appears the owner of Kayley's Kabin is in Law enforcement. We, too are a blue family and appreciate the little “nods” throughout the cabin that support LEOs. I can't say enough for this cabin. We will definitely be back!

The home is only 10 minutes from Boone, 30 minutes to Blowing Rock and 45 minutes to West Jefferson so very convenient to all surrounding area's. Check-in and check-out was very easy. Property management responded to all questions and even brought us some propane for the grill on a Saturday when we notified them we were out. The house was clean, furniture was comfortable and the hot tub and fireplace were a home run after venturing out all day in the cold.

We have returned home safely from our stay at Kaylee's Cabin in Valle Crucis. The winter storm with all the snow and ice did impact our stay, and thanks to Micki, we added an extra night to our stay and were able to avoid departing in the worst of the weather. Having stayed at this property several times, we were pleased with the recent upgrades, as well as the services provided. I have already had one of my neighbors ask for information for their vacation.

The cabin is very nice, and pictures were accurate. We appreciated being able to bring a dog, and being able to add that on after making the initial reservation. The hosts were responsive to questions leading up to the stay, and proactive with communication regarding directions and check-in. The road to the house is gravel and steep, and so is the driveway to the cabin itself. The description says 4WD required in winter, but even in fall with nice weather we were glad we had 4WD SUVs as it really helped with the steep descent getting in and out of the property. Not sure if we would have been able to get in and out as easily without SUVs.

Great cabin with incredible amenities. Everything was incredibly clean and comfortable. The most well stocked rental property we have been to. Communication was great from Blue Ridge Mountain rentals. We will definitely be back and make this a family tradition.

We had the absolute BEST time! The cabin is perfect and super comfortable. My husband LOVED that there was firewood-like he mentioned it almost every hour LOL! My son and I used the hot tub-SO NICE! My daughter loved the family photos and games tucked in every corner! I loved how clean it was and all of the cooking tools available! Town is close by and skiing is not far, either! We had the best time, the cabin had everything that EVERYONE in the family loved. Thank you for sharing with us! We are so ready to go back!

What a dream! Kaylee's cabin is the perfect place for your next getaway. It is absolutely beautiful and offers all of the amenities you need. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the fire and spending our evenings soaking in the hot tub. Everything was so clean and the beds slept so comfortably. Overall the process of reserving this cabin was a breeze. Great communication by management. Which left me feeling comfortable and confident with our reservation. The cabin was clean and had everything you would need. Prime location 10- 15mins from all surrounding towns like Banner elk, Valle Crucis, Boone, Seven Devils etc. Felt Secluded and private regardless of 1 or 2 homes near by. The fire pit and hot tub were amazing. If you’re looking for a cozy cabin atmosphere this is the one. Beyond grateful for the owners opening up their home and for the memories and experiences made during our stay at Kaylees cabin.

We loved the cabin, the privacy, and the location! Look for the deer! The cabin was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. We enjoyed the wrap-around porch, the fireplace, the hot tub, and the fire pit. The den furniture and the beds were very comfy! Make sure you go to the Mast Store in Valle Crucis, see Crab Orchard Waterfall, tube at Hawk's Nest, and eat at Dan'l Boone Inn in Boone. The staff members at the rental office were very nice and helpful. Follow the suggestion of 4-WD/ chains in case of snow, as the driveway is rather steep... what a beautiful view!!

We have been to this same cabin multiple times now. It is close enough to Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk to do whatever you want, but it is far enough away to be able to get away and not hear noise from people. We love it and will be back!

Such a beautiful cabin. Has everything you need. So peaceful and quiet. Enjoyed the front porch in the rocking chairs and watching all the birds. Had a few visits from the deer also. Great Hot tub. Just the perfect place to relax and enjoy. The management staff are excellent. Always a quick response and very helpful on any questions. A+++++++ excellent and will be returning.

The cabin was clean and cozy. It felt like a home away from home. It's nestled in the woods and so quiet, yet you are only 10-15 min away from Boone or Banner Elk. We took advantage of the hot tub, the fire pit and the corn hole game. We absolutely loved this cabin and would love to rent it again!

We have rented Kaylee’s Kabin quite a few times over the past several years and always love our stays there. The location is excellent..... very convenient to shopping, restaurants, hiking, and sightseeing...... yet private and quiet. The cabin is well furnished and immaculately clean. We enjoy relaxing in the spacious Jacuzzi hot tub and often eat meals outdoors at the lovely rustic dining table on the porch. Another plus for us is the huge wraparound deck which is securely gated so our dog can be outside without us worrying about him. In fact, one of our favorite things about Kaylee’s is that it is so dog friendly. Inside the decor has a charming rustic feel without being too kitschy. We spend most evenings watching movies on the BIG flat screen tv in the living room while enjoying cozy fires in the wood burning fireplace. Overall we have nothing but praise for Kaylee’s Kabin and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in the Valle Crucis area. You won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful trip. Gated porch made it perfect for our four legged companion. Every room wonderfully decorated. Beds comfortable as well. Porch with checkers and corn hole helped with things to do while at the cabin. Least we forget the relaxing hot tub. Had chipmunk visitors on the far side of the cabin and 4 deer that hung out in yard. One especially brave that saw us standing there watching it but kept on eating. Can’t wait to come back again. Also the staff was very friendly and informative. Great crew.

My family and I went to Boone for a mini vacation. We absolutely had a fantastic time. Our kids loved the house and the outdoor area. And it was very relaxing for my wife and I. We would recommend this home to anyone. It was simply PERFECT.

This cabin was perfect. Impeccably clean, beautifully decorated with lots of fun bears and moose! Last cabin on road so it was very private. Our dog loved the gated wrap around deck. He could wander in and out freely. We loved the hot tub. The firepit was atop a nicely landscaped hill behind the cabin. Everything you need is there. The wireless internet connection reception was very good as well.

This cabin was everything we could’ve wanted. The hot tub was perfect. The front porch with chairs and swing with a view was idyllic. The furnishings were perfect. The decor was personal and cute. The house was very clean. The kitchen had anything you could’ve needed. There was plenty of wood to make a fire. We will def come back! And 15 minutes to anything.

Our stay was great! The cabin is beautiful and cozy. The outdoor is beautiful too. Easy to access, in a great location; close to all tourist attractions. The gated deck was helpful, our dog was able to walk freely. We enjoyed the cabin a lot. Planning to come back soon.
