Homestead Lodge at Eagles Nest

We were in the mountains for my son's wedding. The Homestead Lodge was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone. The house is huge and very elegant but somehow manages to feel very comfortable. We could not be happier

We enjoyed all the amazing amenities especially relaxing in the hot tub after a hard day of skiing in the blizzard. Wee made s'mores, played pool and enjoyed our family togetherness time. We loved watching the sun rise and set over the mountains. Beautiful house!!!

Our family stays at a different place every year for Christmas and this home really exceptional! Beautiful views of Grandfather Mountain and Sugar Mountain. Plenty of space for all of us to relax and enjoy our time there. We really enjoyed all the outdoor areas with plenty of seating for everyone. Highly recommended!

Our family of 11 had a wonderful stay at Homestead Lodge. The amazing views from the multiple decks are simply beautiful. We enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets. The location is extremely private and quiet. The grounds and firepit were beautiful and perfect. The home was clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and cozy. Plenty of room for us to spread out. All bedrooms were thoughtfully furnished, and the beds were great. The house is thoughtfully stocked. The kitchen contains everything you need to make any meal - far more than the standard Airbnb kitchen fare. There are also thoughtful extras in case you forgot any basics. Be sure to plan on exploring the community. Our family enjoyed the base camp area. Advice, please pay attention and heed warnings from Blue Ridge Rentals regarding the bears. We encountered the community's residents adorable bear family of 4 a few times during our visit with them getting into my daughter's unlocked Tahoe on our first night! Just make sure & lock all vehicle doors and remove food items!! We were lucky and relieved they only enjoyed the kid's treats in the car and did not cause any damage. We are looking forward to our next visit soon!

We had a wonderful time while staying at The Homestead Lodge in Eagles Nest. The home is appointed so nicely and not one thing is overlooked. So much detail everywhere where you look The view is incredible and the outside space is just beautiful as the inside of the home.We enjoyed the fireplace on the deck off the master each night. And the jacuzzi on the lower level off the theatre room was enjoyed by all. The kitchen was so well stocked with anything you would need to cook. A crockpot, waffle maker, and even a Kitchen Aide mixer. We cooked in most nights and it was a pleasure to do so in such a pleasure. I cannot say enough about this home. We had an incredible stay. The only negative thing was not getting to ski due to the rain and warmer weather. I would highly recommend this home

The attention to detail was mind blowing. Our company opted to rent a large cabin in the mountains to conduct a leadership training seminar and stumbled upon this beautiful home. It appeared to check all the boxes as it even had a theatre which was perfect for presentations. When we first walked in we quickly realized that the pictures really did not do this place justice as there are beauties in life that can only be captured by the naked eye. We were all able to make ourselves at home and began the process of determining what we would be able to make for meals based on how well the kitchen was stocked. It was so nice to find that it had a little of everything, from spices to pots and pans, which made it much easier to shop. Once our seminar wrapped up we took to the amenities and had a blast watching movies, playing pool, hanging out in the hot tub, and the most fun had was over several games of Uno. The rooms were very cozy and peaceful, coupled with the high thread count sheets and amazing mattresses and you have a perfect recipe for deep sleep. To sum it up, the attention to detail paid by the owner of this home was simply amazing and the customer service received on the daily by the realty company was beyond stellar! This house made us all feel at home and we are already trying to plan a trip back. Thank you for making this a great stay for us all!

We greatly enjoyed our trip to this house. The manager was in excellent communication in the days before and during the trip which made everything seamless and enjoyable. The property is gorgeous and the home offers great entertainment for all age groups. We highly recommend this property and look forward to visiting again.

This is a really great place. Perched on a mountainside with remarkable views, this is a very spacious and comfortable home. May be the best appointed kitchen I have rented, and the instances of forethought just keep coming. The sticks for marshmallows are at the fireplace. Green egg maintained 600 exactly as long as asked. There are many amenities in this neighborhood. A super place - five well earned stars.

This really is a spectacular home. The views are excellent. The kitchen has everything you need and top end appliances. The sheets and bed are like home. The a-v equipment is perfect. Outdoor fireplace and grill. Spectacular.

This home is absolutely breathtaking, even lovelier than pictured on the website. We were 5 couples and had a fantastic time, comfortably spending time together or apart but never in anyone’s way. The layout and decor is spectacular. We will definitely be back. Congrats to the owners of this magnificent castle centered in the most picturesque little slice of Gods country!

We spent New Years with 2 other families at this fabulous home in Banner Elk. The views were gorgeous and the place had everything you could imagine for all ages. Although, their wasn’t any snow, we hiked and enjoyed every bit of Eagles nest...soccer fields, playgrounds, etc. Will definitely go book again!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home with gorgeous views. The home offers plenty of room for family to spread out as well as provide space for sitting comfortably together as we celebrated Christmas morning. Santa's Reindeer even showed up early Christmas morning, which made the grandchildren's day!

The cabin had more than enough space for our group and all of the amenities we needed. Our kids loved the nook under the stairs. Property manager was very helpful with providing information prior to and during our stay.

This house was perfect for our needs with 4 master bedrooms as we had four adult couples and one toddler in our group. The house was outfitted with everything we needed including baby gates. It is beautifully decorated as well. The house is located lower on the mountain - while still having beautiful views-which made it much easier to come and go. Perfect property for us- we will return!

We spent a wonderful quiet 4 day weekend in the house as a family of 4 it was much bigger than we needed but I specifically choose the property for the outdoor space. We knew it would rain the majority of our stay so having the covered patio with tv and wood burning fireplace was key. We read books under blankets and watched sports, cooked great meals ans never left. We will definitely be back to the house and bring friends next time!

This house is magnificent! Everything is of the best quality but somehow still makes one feel totally at home! Conveniently located to Banner Elk and Beech Mountain. Our party is 14 was extremely pleased. So many sitting rooms that one could easily find a quiet retreat when needed!

One set of grandparents, three sets of parents, five little girls under the age of 5 and two dogs for the weekend...and EVERYONE had a wonderful time. The house is exceptional - wonderfully appointed with every detail addressed. The neighborhood has an unbelievable array of amenities, so we never even left the community. We’ve already decided this will be our new “family spot”.

No words would do this home justice. The decor will awww you, every piece is custom designed. My kids ages 14-22 said this community is like no other, from boulder rock climbing, archery, hiking, streams, ATV trails, amphitheater on the mountain side with Jazz band, YOU MUST EXPERIENCE IT WITH YOUR FAMILY! We had so much family fun from playing pool to watching the sun set in the hot tub. The home has a dream kitchen and a piano that plays itself while we were drinking blueberry wine from the Banner Elk Winery in town. The town is charming wonderful restaurants and even a dog bakery. The kids visited caverns, zip lined over the mountain tops, went to Asheville Adventure park, rented ATV close by the home to ride around the mountain. This is a stunningly beautiful home with high end furnishings, but cozy at the same time. Worth every penny, we want to go back ASAP!

We stayed at this home the first week in April 2018 and had an exceptional experience. The property is very well maintained. Most striking were the furnishings which were truly upscale and luxurious. The kitchen was the best -equipped kitchen we have seen, with large quantities of silverware and dishes that all matched and made for a wonderful setting for our family who visited. Very pet friendly, and our two dogs enjoyed the stay as much as we did. The property manager was very attentive and responsive to our every need. This home has our highest recommendation.

Came to Banner Elk to go skiing with high school friends, unfortunately there was no snow so the cabin became our permanent destination for the trip. It was amazing, every amenity you could think of along with great views. Would definitely recommend.
