Tucked among the trees in the beautiful mountains of Newland, Highland Haven at Linville Land Harbor is the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy everything the High Country has to offer. Whether you're planning a family vacation, a golf getaway, or a weekend with friends, this welcoming mountain retreat offers plenty of room to spread out while still bringing everyone together.

The thoughtfully designed split-level floor plan gives guests the best of both worlds, with comfortable living spaces and bedrooms on each level that make it easy for everyone to relax in their own space after a day of adventure. Gather upstairs for conversation by the fire, challenge the kids to a friendly foosball tournament downstairs, or simply curl up with a good book while taking in the peaceful wooded surroundings.
Step outside onto the spacious covered deck and let the mountain air work its magic. Sip your morning coffee as the forest wakes up around you, enjoy dinner fresh off the gas grill, or spend the evening watching your favorite game on the outdoor TV while making memories with family and friends.
The fully equipped kitchen makes preparing meals a breeze, featuring stainless steel appliances, beautiful countertops, a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and everything you'll need to cook anything from hearty breakfasts to family dinners. High-speed WiFi throughout the home keeps everyone connected when needed, while the peaceful setting makes it easy to unplug and truly unwind.
Guests also enjoy access to an incredible selection of community amenities, including an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, hiking trails, fishing, shuffleboard, billiards, a swimming pool, a lake, and even a dog park, making Highland Haven a wonderful destination for every member of the family, including your four-legged companions.

- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- This home allows up to 4 mature, well-trained dogs with an additional pet rent of $25 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. There is a free dog park behind the cluster mailboxes at the back entrance (from Newland) to Land Harbor on Laurel Hills Road that renters may use.
- There is one exterior camera aimed towards the driveway. There are no cameras capturing the deck or doors/windows of the home, and there are no interior cameras.
