From the moment we arrived, this place felt like a home away from home. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, creating a space that was both comfortable and welcoming. We loved starting our mornings here and coming back after a day out to relax and unwind—it was exactly what we needed. The location was wonderful, and the home itself was spotless, cozy, and full of charm. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We’re so grateful for the memories made here and would happily return in a heartbeat.

We had a fantastic vacation at Homestead Hideaway! The home was very clean, well-equipped and perfect for our group of five with plenty of room to spare. We enjoyed the fire pit on the deck (views!), pool table, games/puzzles and the well-stocked kitchen. Nice location for downtown Boone, Banner Elk and Grandfather Mountain/Winery. We'll be back!

This is a truly lovely home! We very much enjoyed our snowy weekend! It's very well appointed with plenty of space. The decks are lovely. Very convenient location to Boone, Valle Crucis and Banner Elk. In the winter months, you really need 4WD or All Wheel Drive at the least.

The house was beautiful. Spacious decks, beautiful view of the trees. Parking a little tight, but to be expected in the mountains. The kitchen was the most well appointed I have experienced via vrbo. You really felt you were staying in someone's home rather than a rental, and I suspect this was the case. We all agree that we would stay here again.
