Our two week stay was just wonderful. This apartment and the pond were perfect for my 10 year old daughter looked forward to returning each night of our stay to catch fireflies and frogs. Feeding the fish was an extra bonus for us as where the two families of geese. I we will try and stay here again when we return to Quincy.

My family and I had a grand three-night stay at Hearthstone. The house is beautiful and inviting and BIG. My oldest granddaughter, with her wife and twin toddlers, stayed in the sumptuous master suite on the main floor, right off the kitchen, while the remaining nine of us spread out in the five upstairs bedrooms. What we hadn't figured out from the photos is that three of those rooms (king, queen, and bunks) are completely cut off from the other two (queen, even more bunks), creating two separate 3- and 2-room suites accessed by separate staircases. We all loved that. More things we loved: the unique slide attached to the amazing treehouse; the media room with all its recliners, simply perfect for family game-playing; the big sunroom, a great gathering place that made us feel as if were sitting outdoors; and the big porch that drew us out again and again to gaze at the awesome view. This weekend was the fifteenth annual mountain trip we've all taken together, and everyone agreed that it may have been the best of all. I can't imagine how I could ever top it. And I loved dealing with the folks at Blue Ridge Rentals. They made the whole process so pleasant and easy for me. Next year I'll start by looking at their listings before I even consider the other home-sharing sites.

Perfect getaway for families with plenty of space to spread out. Great views, relatively private lot, but with easy access to Blowing Rock and Boone. We stayed with four families, and kids from toddler to tween really enjoyed the outdoor playset, firepit and game room. Superb communication from the hosts!

This house was the perfect place to host our group. Great balance of space: large dining table and social areas to fit the whole group, but also enough room to spread out. Outdoor space is unmatched, we spent most of our time enjoying the porch and yard. Sunset views are incredible. Great location as well. House is 10 minutes from a 421 stores (Publix, Walmart, etc), 15 from King St. If you have a large group, could not imagine a better place to host.

Extremely wonderful home and stay! The property was amazing a little difficult to locate with all the twists and turns of the mountains but you can't miss it twice. This house is fantastic for families with kids! All of our little ones enjoyed playing outside on the play area and in the game room inside. There was a lot of space and the room setups were just what we needed for our group. The host was very responsive and often got back to messages within minutes. We held our annual family gathering at Hearthstone in Watauga County just between Boone and Blowing Rock, NC. Hearthstone was an amazing place to gather for a large family with children. There were so many games and activities available that we did not realize would keep us all so entertained. The views were spectacular and the amenities were excellent! Wonderful place…when the fog cleared it was an amazing view. Right between Boone and Blowing Rock so can get to either with a short drive. Awesome game room and plenty of beds for bigger groups. Would stay here again.

This house was perfect! Everyone could have their own space! and If you needed to hide for a while, there’s plenty of room in this house! We came with a group of friends and all of our young children. The house is great with ample space and most of all we loved the amazing outdoor space with the play area for our children. On the first morning we realized the coffee maker was broken, but the agency immediately brought us a new one and were easy to communicate with. We definitely want to return to this home!

Our stay at Hearthstone was fabulous! The house was spotless and we found everything we needed for 2 families to stay comfortably. We stayed over Thanksgiving and the house had already been decorated for Christmas so that was a very special surprise! The only issue we had was the hot tub monitor said filter change was “over due” and it didn’t have a disinfecting tablet. We called maintenance but since it was a holiday and it wasn’t an emergency, we didn’t hear back. Understandable for a holiday weekend. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect spot for my 50th birthday getaway! From Cindy at the office to Walgreens down the street everyone was beyond kind and helpful. The house and property are incredibly fun and relaxing. The views had us disconnected immediately upon arrival. Very thankful for this adventure!!

The house is even nicer than the pictures indicate. We had a wonderful family vacation at Hearthstone. The game room and playground were top notch for the kids, the theater and sun rooms were wonderful for the grownups, and the proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway made it ideal for daily hikes and going into Blowing Rock and Boone. Wonderful.

We had a large group (our “quarantine crew”) ranging in age from 10-63. We loved the huge table where we could all eat together. The game room was fantastic and kept the teens well entertained. Plenty of places throughout the home to sit and talk. The play structure is amazing and in warmer weather would have been in constant use. The kitchen was very well stocked. Thoughtful touches like a welcome sign and package of toiletries were nicely done. All in all we would highly recommend.

A group of 21 friends stayed here for a weekend getaway and we would all agree that this house is an 11 out of 10! There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, activities for everyone and the team at Blue Ridge Rentals was phenomenal! We will be back for sure!!

What a slice of heaven! Our family felt that this was the most magnificent place we have ever stayed!
There was room for each of our children to spend with their individual families. They could choose to sleep late uninterrupted, or to have privacy in their individual family. Whenever they would like to gather together in the kitchen, family room, sun room, or game room they were sure to find company. Every convenience of home was there for our use. We chose to bring our meals back to enjoy at the family dinner table - no restaurant could be this good! The deck, and view from many rooms in the house was simply heaven! We have found the perfect place to vacation!

Loved the place
Appreciated the high quality kitchen.
We used everything with the rain and had a great time.
The pictures of the view in your vrbo do not do justice to the view of the mountains. We suggest that you might redo a couple pics. Same is true for the playground.
We found the fire tower trail that connects to the cone estate trails. It was beautiful and a real plus. You might mention your proximity and provide directions to the trail head.
