Very Nice home, we have stayed at in the condos at the Reserve a few times before. However with our family getting larger we needed more room. This comfy lodge was the perfect size for our family. Everything was in working order and the kitchen was well stocked. Really enjoyed the large living room with the wood burning fireplace, and large windows to gaze upon the magnificent view. It was nice that the pool table was on this level as well. Pinball machine and hot tub were both also great! Hopefully we will be able to stay here again!

The Heart Rock Lodge is everything you might want or need for a comfortable family vacation. It is spacious but cozy, has beautiful mountain views, has a fully equipped kitchen with newer items, and comfortable beds. Communication with the rental office was easy and we were well informed with important information. Customer Service was quick to respond. I highly recommend this Lodge and Blue Ridge Mt. Rentals and hope to return again soon.

The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for home cooked meals while there. We enjoyed the pool table, gaming table and hot tub! The home is in a perfect location so close to Grandfather Mountain and the Wilderness Run Alpine Rollercoaster which my entire family really enjoyed! It also wasn't too long of a drive (35 minutes) to Linville Caverns & the gorgeous Linville Falls. We had a wonderful time here!

Very nice place to stay and we enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and excellent location.
Two small things that were found and we feel need to be addressed.
The downstairs bathtub does not drain and the ceiling light in the same bathroom doesn’t work.
Disappointed the property management never returned my call regarding my questions about the garbage. We received an email from the property management company that included the statement that garbage would be picked up on Saturday and Wednesday. Also read in the welcome book that we were suppose to dispose of the garbage at a remote dump site which conflicted with what we read in the email. We found two garbage cans in the garage which were full of garbage from the previous renters as well as garbage around the trash cans. We put the trash cans out by the street early Saturday morning, however the garbage was never picked up that day. We called the office and never heard back from them. We eventually put all the garbage in our vehicle and dumped it at the remote site. It would have been nice to have the office call back to clarify the information provided to us regarding the garbage policy.

This place was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed our stay here with family including our fur babies. The views were breathtaking and surrounding was quiet and relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked and beds super comfortable. The boys enjoyed the hot tub and playing pool. The only negative was that the pinball machine wasn't working and the wifi was in and out sometimes. Also the fire pit area was adorable but difficult for some to get to due to the rock stairs that lead you there. The host were very responsive to any suggestions or issues. Would definitely recommend to others visiting the area.

Overall we loved the house! The pictures were accurate & the views were amazing! Hot tub was perfect end to everyone’s night. The house was entertaining enough for the weekend that we didn’t need to leave! Only downside to the house was we couldn’t connect to WifI (ohh well—we still had good phone service). This is an amazing house on top of Sugar Mountain, with gorgeous views of Grandfather and Blue Ridge Mountains. The layout of the house was perfect for our large family. The kitchen was very well appointed with everything needed for gourmet meals. Our family has very much enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit and the games - especially the pool table! Wow, this home has everything. We arrived with over 4 inches of snow on the ground, it was breath taking. We spent Christmas here in it was one of the most relaxing and surreal holidays we have every had. We thank you so much for opening up your home to use, we will be back (hopefully for fall).

Thank you for renting your fun house. We had lots of fun in the snow and playing games. We got at least a foot of snow and used our sled on your hill. Our entire family had a wonderful time. Cory

This was our fourth year coming to Banner Elk to vacation away from the Florida heat. We loved our stay at Heart Rock Lodge. This house has great amenities and there was something for everyone to do. Watch out for the Wild Turkeys that cross the driveway every morning.
