Happy Trails Lodge

We had an incredible stay at Happy Trails Lodge! Enjoyed the hot tub, porch views, and lots of time playing pool and cornhole in the evenings. Very convenient to Downtown Boone and we can't wait to go back!!

This home was very cozy and in a super peaceful neighborhood, we saw wildlife every night from the deck and got to spend a lot of time together playing in the basement, playing board games, and watching movies! Overall awesome home to stay in and we will definitely be back!

Immaculate, cozy, family-friendly, and high quality! This cabin is absolutely charming! Happy Trails Lodge has it all! From Ping Pong to Pool, from Hot Tub to Sauna, from Board Gaming to Video Gaming, there is something for everyone in the family. The furnishings and bedding were top notch. The large kitchen is so well stocked with high quality kitchenware and appliances, the owners have thought of everything! The quiet picturesque views and the easy access to Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, and Linville Falls, made this cabin the perfect choice for us. We were so comfortable throughout our stay we didn’t want to leave. We will definitely be back, and we’re telling all of our friends to look no further and choose Happy Trails Lodge!

My family loved the Happy Trails cabin. This was our second time staying there partly due to repeated requests from the kids to return. The house is immaculate and well supplied with essential items. It even has a sauna and hot tub so its sort of like a spa resort. It has a huge deck with an incredible view. We sat out on it most mornings. It is located near many attractions that kept us busy the whole week. Including ziplines, roller coasters, numerous hiking trails and Grandfather Mountain. Thank you for a great vacation.

This place was everything you could ask for!! Fully stocked, very clean, amazing views, and something to keep everyone of all ages happy!!! We loved it & would definitely return again! If you're debating on this place don't, just book it!

This is by far the cleanest well stocked vacation home that we have ever stayed in, and we come come to Boone every October. The amenities are top notch and the views are breathtaking. Thank you Amy for all of your kind generosity. We can't wait to come back. We give your house 10 stars!

My family (husband, mother, father) rented this cabin during family weekend at App State, where my son is a freshman. This will definitely be our go to whenever we come and visit! The cabin was SUPER clean and the kitchen was so well stocked. It was easy to get to and the view of Grandfather Mountain was superb. It was very comfortable for 6 people- the cabin was so much fun my son and his girlfriend decided to stay the night one night! The game table was great to put out a puzzle and leave it for the duration. It was the little touches that made this cabin perfect. Plenty of towels and blankets, decorations that were seasonal and not overbearing- and the internet was good enough for me to do a Zoom meeting, which was very helpful. I would recommend this cabin 100%!

We absolutely loved this cabin it was so clean so organized and decorated so adorable, it has the absolute best views I’ve ever seen in a cabin, we saw a ton of deer and little fawns right in our front yard. It was magical, the cabin itself is top notch and you can tell it’s kept up really well its also stocked with any and everything you would need, we will most definitely be back soon it’s our favorite cabin ever! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Our long weekend in Boone was better than we had hoped for thanks to this wonderful home. Very clean, cozy, and private. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking any meal. Hot tub, pool table and dart board provided us plenty of quality family time. Best place I’ve stayed in by far and we will definitely return!

Property was perfect - clean and the owner thought of everything we might need - welcome basket, supplies, extras, etc. It was the cleanest property I have ever rented with the perfect game area for all to use. I would gladly stay here anytime. Highly recommended.

We’re just finished a two week stay at this home and I cannot wait to go back! The house is spacious and everything feels brand new. It is fully equipped for cooking, starter supplies for anything you might need, lots of extra blankets and towels. The view is spectacular in a relaxing remote neighborhood that’s only 10 minutes from downtown Boone. The beds and furniture are comfortable and the game room downstairs, as well as the game closet, provides hours of entertainment. The hosts were very helpful and have wonderful communication. I cannot think of anything that would make this a better place to vacation and highly recommend it!

The property was even better than expected! The view of the mountains was so great, especially after we figured out what we were looking at. We've never had such a well-stocked rental. We are definitely spoiled now! We felt so welcomed, it was hard to leave for excursions. The owners did a terrific job.

We had the best time at this super clean home. Perfect for two or three families. Nice little touches throughout the home. Lots to do, game room, hot tub, fire pit, gaming console. Comfy beds with super comfy blankets throughout. The best stocked kitchen I've ever used on vacation. 11 out of 10 stars.

We had an incredible time at Happy Trails! Amy was so accommodating and was very communicative, especially since our trip coincided with a big winter storm. We were snowed in for 2 days but Happy Trails had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, and we had a blast sliding down the hill, building a snow fort, and having snowball fights! The hot tub and fire pit on the porch are great touches and everything inside the cabin is cozy, comfortable, and perfectly decorated. The cabin was super clean with a wonderfully stocked kitchen. We would love to come back to Happy Trails!
