Nestled within Tiffany’s Estate—a private 95-acre mountain ranch—Fox Pod is the perfect pick for a cozy mountain getaway. Guests enjoy exclusive access to a wide range of amenities, a serene pond with kayaks, a pickleball court, and limitless mature wooded mountainside terrain. These amenities are shared only among the limited properties on the estate, ensuring a peaceful and private experience.
The Pod
Escape to the mountains and enjoy a cozy, comfortable stay in this charming private pod just minutes from Banner Elk. Designed with everything you need to enjoy a simple getaway, The Fox Pod is the perfect home base for couples looking to unwind, explore the High Country, and enjoy the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Inside, you'll find a comfortable Twin bed with Twin Trundle, full bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, and TV, making it easy to settle in for either a weekend or a longer stay.
Step outside to enjoy the fresh mountain air. Soak beneath the stars in your private hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or enjoy your morning coffee and an al fresco meal at the outdoor dining table. With the peaceful woods nearby, the Fox pod invites you to slow down and reconnect.

Tiffany’s Estate offers something for everyone. Enjoy a friendly pickleball match on the private court across the street, or head down the road to the pond where you can paddle across the water or throw in a line to fish. Tiffanys estate includes a vast acreage of woodlands. Surrounded by nature and mountain beauty, every moment here is designed for connection and relaxation.

While the estate offers plenty to enjoy, you’re also a short drive from some of the region’s most popular destinations, including Beech Mountain and Sugar Mountain ski resorts, downtown Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Hawksnest Snow Tubing & Ziplining, Linville Falls and Caverns, Boone, Blowing Rock, Valle Crucis, and more.

- Tiffany’s Estate includes multiple rental properties. Consider renting any single property or the combination that best suites your getaway.
o The Red Barn (up to 14 guests)
o The Upper House (up to 9 guests)
o Bear Pod (up to 4 guests)
o Eagle Pod (2 guests)
o Fox Pod (2 guests)
-The pond, pickleball court, and woods are shared with guests staying at any home at Tiffany’s Estate.
- The Fox Pod, Eagle Pod, and Bear Pod are located next to each other with just enough space between to make it great for individual rentals, but close enough so they are perfect to rent together with family or friends. The Red Barn and Upper House at Tiffany’s Estate are just 3/4 miles away, just behind the pond.
- This home is pet-friendly, allowing up to one dog under 40 lbs. with a pet rent of $25 per pet, per night.
- Water activities are available at the pond. Please note there are no lifeguards on duty and children must be supervised at all times.
- A valid North Carolina fishing license is required for fishing. Equipment is not provided.
- Firewood may be purchased with at least one week's notice for use in the fire pit. One night's worth of firewood includes two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax.
- The main roads are plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required from November to March, and chains may also be necessary to access all properties in the winter months.
- All linens and towels provided for your stay
- All BRMR homes offer well-stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
CANCELLATION POLICY -
Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 59 days of the arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
