Welcome to Fern Leaf Lodge! Relax and enjoy all that this spacious home offers, including seasonal mountain views, a firepit, and a hot tub!

The main level features an open great room with airy vaulted ceilings, lots of windows, a floor-to-ceiling gas fireplace, a big TV, doors leading to the deck, and a selection of furniture facing the windows and fireplace. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’ll need to prepare delicious meals and snacks that you can enjoy at the dining table nearby.

There’s fun for all ages to be had here! Step outside and take a dip in the covered hot tub, the perfect place to relax away your cares. And on the main level deck you’ll find a selection of cushioned furniture around a gas firetable, the perfect place to kick back and enjoy the ambiance of the mountains while you take in the seasonal mountain views. There’s also a gas grill here.

Time for bed? Fern Leaf Lodge offers four proper bedrooms and two semi-enclosed areas, for a total of six sleeping areas. On the main level is the king ensuite with shower, as well as a Queen bedroom and a bedroom with one twin bed. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with tub/shower. Upstairs in the semi enclosed loft you’ll find two single Twin beds, with a half bath attached. And on the lower floor is a room with a Queen bed and a hall bathroom with tub/shower, as well as a set of full-over-full bunks and a trundle in the rec room.

With everything that Fern Leaf Lodge has to offer, you might not ever want to leave this haven! If you do, you’ll be just moments away from all the delicious local dining Beech Mountain has to offer, as well as minutes to the entrance of Beech Mountain Ski Resort for both winter fun and the annual Autumn At Oz celebrations. Downtown Banner Elk and the rest of the High Country are just a short drive away, as well, so you can even experience more activities including Horseback Riding, UTV tours, an Alpine Roller Coaster, White Water Rafting and Tubing Trips, Dining, Shopping, and so much more.

Also located just a short distance from the home is the Beech Mountain Club where guests can enjoy access to private restaurants & events, professional tennis, a fitness center, pickleball courts, and a heated pool to name just a few amenities. Guest passes must be requested (Sports-level membership is available) and the transfer fee must be paid for in advance to the Club. Additionally, the Buckeye Recreation Center and numerous trout fishing streams are located close by and we can even connect you with the best local fly fishing guides.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- This home is dog friendly for an additional rent of $25/nt per dog. Limit of 2 dogs.
- Due to the elevation, Beech Mountain requires all guests during the winter months (Nov-April) come equipped with good tires, 4WD or AWD vehicles, and possibly snow chains.
- You may purchase firewood for the outdoor firepit from us and have it delivered prior to your arrival. This service requires one-week notice prior to arrival, no exceptions. The cost for firewood is $25 per night, plus 12.75% tax. Each night purchased includes 2 small bundles (each bundle contains 6-8 pieces of wood) and 1 fire starter log.  There is no refund for unused firewood. 
CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled with a 15+ day notice will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 8-14 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of their reservation payments. Bookings canceled within 7 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
