Enjoyed everything about this place! Hot tub was so nice and the kitchen was well equipped. Beds were so comfy and the gas rock fireplace made it such a cozy atmosphere! Will be back!

Beautiful property with an excellent view. Privacy but close enough to everything to venture out. Very clean and well maintained. The rental arrangements were easy and convenient. Overall an excellent experience.

We had a wonderful weekend. The view is phenomenal. If you want to sit on a balcony, sip wine and have incredible mountain views - you will not be disappointed. The cabin was incredibly clean, well maintained and a great space. We felt at home and highly recommend.

Had to arrive late and after dark, but Blue Ridge Rentals made it easy to get into the cabin with clear directions (which we were out of internet range so offline directions worked out great). Had a great honeymoon, hot tub amazing, views suberb, but the piece and getting away from it all was the dream :) Aaaand included internet so could still catch some shows on Netflix & Disney+ ;) Not to mention they provided basic towels, toiletries, and kitchen supplies, me and my new wife were able to cook for each other without needing to leave (except grocery shopping).

We enjoyed our stay at Faraway Skies. It was our first family weekend at App State with our oldest. The cabin was wonderfully clean and well appointed. Wonderful view in the morning. It was far enough out of Boone to avoid some of the craziness but close enough to be a quick ride down the road to get to campus. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

Everything was perfect. Exactly what we were hoping for! House was very clean and had everything you need. Road getting up to it was single lane and could be tough with a car or if you met another car coming the other way. Other than that was absolutely perfect! Would highly recommend!!!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property! It was an incredible view, the home was very peaceful (the hot tub was the cherry on top!), the check in and out process was easy and smooth, and the home wasn't far away from great places to go visit and see. We really needed this getaway and I'm so glad we did it! Highly recommend!!

We took a very last minute trip to the mountains before school started for our kids. The view is stunning, we all enjoyed the hot tub and it was close to the river rafting and Boone! We liked it was a private community and while it is on a gravel road we didn't have any issues. Would recommend!

Outstanding weekend getaway at Faraway Skies Cabin in Zionville, NC! The cabin was impeccably clean, roomy, comfortable, and well stocked with kitchen supplies. The view was outstanding as the cabin is nestled in a quiet, remote mountain side facing west for perfect sunset views over the Blue Ridge Mountains. I highly recommend a 4x4 or awd vehicle to safely traverse the path up to this particular spot. Easy access to downtown Boone and Blowing Rock trails.
