Great week everything you could want in a rental plus more. Best part every bedroom had their own bathroom but the very best was the outside living area. Great area for conversation and the setting was perfect and very private. thanks for a great week

Our second stay at this property and once again it provided all the comforts we needed to have a wonderful vacation. The house was clean and remains in nearly new condition with no signs of wear and tear since last year. The kitchen provided our cooks everything they needed and is convenient to both the indoor and outdoor eating areas. The covered outdoor entertainment patio with TV and hot tub is a perfect setting for conversation, relaxation and quiet time for enjoying sunrises and sunsets. The management company is first class with informative and timely correspondence. They accommodated all of our requests We loved the house and intend to come back next year.

Beautiful, private mountain top location, and nice, scenic views. Fifty-eight glorious degrees in the morning, highs in the 70's during the day! It was a refreshing escape from the S.C. low country July heat! Really didn't notice any bugs. Wonderful, outdoor, large, open, yet completely covered space, complete with two gas fireplaces, a relaxing and comfortable place to sit and a recessed hot tub. House was very well built and roomy. Beds and furniture very comfortable. We had a few minor issues, but they were addressed by the property manager for the most part as best they could while we were there. We enjoyed the field beneath the property. The grass was trimmed and it was a perfect, flat place for the kids to run and play. That's hard to come by with mountain rentals. The property was very nicely landscaped as well. The option to use the amenities at the club across the highway from the residence was great. Grandchildren enjoyed the beach and the heated pool there. Would rent this house again, it has a lot to offer and the location was convenient and safe. We stayed 10 days and didn't want to leave.

Elk Camp Lodge was perfect for our group ski vacation. The drive to Sugar Mountain was only 18 mins and the gated community it's in is absolutely fabulous. The house gives real meaning to "the house on the hill" and has wonderful views all around. The master suite was massive. We were slightly disappointed to find that the fireplace in it barely worked and gave off strong gas smells so we kept it off. They also sent an email just prior to the trip informing us that the outdoor fireplace by the hot tub was broken - so 2 out of 3 fireplaces weren't working which was unfortunate. The shower had 8 shower heads which was amazing along with a jacuzzi tub. Every bedroom had a full bathroom attached and there was plenty of space for everyone. Paper products were slightly lacking - they addressed this in the welcome book in the living room but we didn't plan for that and had to purchase more paper towels and toilet paper after arriving for the 5-day stay. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking and dining supplies besides there being no aluminum foil/plastic wrap/food storage containers. The house has soo many doors and windows which was really nice for natural light. The breezeway between the garage and main home was very convenient and the game room pictures do not do it justice. Overall a 9/10 and would definitely book here again especially giving that our fur babies were allowed to join.

This is a wonderful property and is exactly as described by the management company. The home was clean and furnished beautifully with everything we needed. The kitchen received high praise from our chefs! One of things we enjoyed most was the outside seating area which is an excellent gathering point for friends and families. The fireplaces, hot tub and tv made it our most used part of the home. There is also a play area for children located just behind the house. This property is extremely private, with no view of any buildings in any direction but allows for nice sunsets over the mountains. Very quite neighborhood. Management company was terrific with constant updates prior to arrival and thru out our stay. I don't believe there is any issued that they couldn't resolve is a professional, timely and satisfactory manner. They are best in class. If the size and location fit your needs you will not be disappointed with this home.

This was our second time making plans via BRMR and just like the first time everyone and everything was 1st class. Prior to our scheduled arrival we were offered to extend our stay @ a reduced rate which we were able to take advantage of. Instructions were provided prior to our arrival, making our arrival easy. We were also contacted throughout our stay ensuring we were in need of nothing. Our stay @ Elk Camp Lodge was wonderful, and we are truly grateful to have had this opportunity. We look forward to dealing with BRMR in the future.

Awesome stay. The game room Is a great backup during rainy days with music, beamer, darts, billiards and a lot of board games. Great location for a hike on Grandfather mountain or cities such as Blowing Rock or Boone. Enjoyed the heck out of it!

We had a fantastic time at Elk Camp Lodge! This property is the cleanest and best-provisioned property we have stayed in. The community was beautiful and quiet. Lots of wildlife to see, including deer, rabbits, beavers, & hummingbirds. The landscaping and flowers were beautiful. We enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the cool mountain air. The kitchen was well appointed and served our family well, cooking and grilling out each night. The master bedroom was very spacious and comfortable, as were the guest rooms. The game room had a lot (understatement) to offer, and we enjoyed playing all of the games. The outdoor space, fireplace, fire pit, and hot tub were fantastic. Our kids had a blast playing Ping Pong, cornhole, and Jenga. The property was well located so we could visit Banner Elk, Linville Caverns, Grandfather Mountain, and many other options. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals is excellent to work with, as we have stayed in their properties before. They are very responsive, communicative, and accommodating, and we highly recommend them. The arrival gift was a nice treat! We would absolutely stay here again. We had a couple of small challenges that we recognize happen occasionally and were able to take care of most of them ourselves. It didn't take away from our perception of the property or the management group. • The cleaning crew ran 30 min over from our check-in time and left the dishwasher for us to unload. • Someone might want to check the GFI in the bar/laundry – it was tripped on arrival and continued to flash a red LED after reset but was operational. • The pilot light on one of the outdoor fireplaces was out and had to be re-lit. • There is a small roof leak in the room center of the back porch off the kitchen. • The bathroom fan in the bedroom across from the master didn't work. Again, none of these issues were big enough to complain about and didn't take away from our stay, but we thought the owner and management would want to know. We hope to return soon! Thanks for a fantastic stay!

The outside pavilion was our sanctuary every evening were laughter and our appreciation for life/friendship was enjoyed. BRMR did a great job providing instructions, access to the house, even reached out prior to our arrival date making us aware early check in was available. Definitely hits the mark providing customer service. I would caution you to not operate multiple showers at one time as water pressure is unable to support. We truly enjoyed our stay and the wonderful motorcycle riding and are looking forward to our stay next year.
