Great stay! My whole family was very comfortable. House was very clean, and the bed were cozy. We had cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner (I did bring roasting pan and hand mixer) and had everything we needed. Very close to Banner Elk center. Would stay again in we came back to the area.

My wife and I have traveled a lot over the past 25 years, and it's rare to find a place that truly exceeds expectations. The Deer Valley cabin that we stayed at does exactly that. This was our second stay, and we already can't wait to return. It's incredibly peaceful, surrounded by nature and fresh mountain air. The inside has been beautifully remodeled with a rustic-modern feel and is absolutely spotless. It has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. You feel at home the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is calm, the neighbors are friendly, and the sounds of nature are all around—no traffic, no noise, just peace. If you need anything, the nearest town is only about 15 minutes away, and the drive is scenic and easy. After spending a week here, we were genuinely sad to leave. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a beautiful place in nature where you can disconnect and recharge. You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful home for a family vacation. Very nicely appointed. Loved the kitchen and fireplace. Easily accessible to several of the mountains and attractions. Peaceful and scenic. Definitely recommend

This cabin has a great get-away location. It provides the opportunity to experience the great outdoors of NC. Plenty of activities and venues to visit within a comfortable radius. Waterfalls, hiking and numerous selections to eat well. The cabin has plenty of yard space for kids and a fire pit for the family to enjoy outside. The neighbor down the valley even extended his generosity with a dozen fresh eggs from his chicken coop; Southern folks for you. Inside you find everything you need from the kitchen to the bedrooms. Comfortable beds and things are neatly organized and accommodating. The one time I called the office for a quick question I had no problem reaching them despite being in a wooded area. There is no point in looking anywhere else for a cabin rental in this area, there isn't a place better. You can find everything you need in one spot.

Beautifully decorated with updated furnishings home. It was difficult to access from the road to the house due to how deep the snow was and it was all downhill to enter the property, but once there we were in our own world. No one around at all and we were able to sled down hills all around the property. Only issue was, due to the snow/ice we would get concerned getting in & out (even in 4 wheel drive), as well as, the trash people had not cleaned out the can from the previous renters. So, we had to drive the trash to town after the 2nd day. Just a minor obstacle. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

The house is beautiful and very clean. Location was a little tricky to get to on the first time in but if you follow the directions from the owner they get you there, no problem. The house was well stocked for a week long stay. Loved the hot tub and fire pit. Great mountain getaway!

Fantastic house. We had six people (2 kids, 2 grandparents, and 2 parents). The kids really enjoyed the little pool table, the hot tub, and the fire pit. House was very clean and we had a wonderful experience. Would definitely come back!

We enjoyed the suspended terrace, fire area and Jacuzzi, they made all the difference for our large group. The area is quiet, has gorgeous sunsets and offers lots of trails into the woods. A true authentic wood cabin. Is so lovely and unique, we will return for sure.
