Deer Moments

The cabin was very clean and looked exactly like the photos. It’s not far from downtown, yet very quiet and peaceful, with incredible mountain views. We spent New Year’s with our family and truly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary utensils. We highly recommend it

This cabin had such a perfect view perched on top of the mountain. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well set up for guest with amenities. I wish we were able to stick around for a longer stay and the house itself was so enjoyable. Make sure you give yourself time to travel to town as it is located up some slow windy mountain roads you have to take your time on.

We stayed at Deer Moments over Thanksgiving. The house was perfect for six people. The kitchen has a gas stove and is very well stocked. I would recommend bringing your own chefs knife as the knives are rather dull. But overall we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday!

Deer Meadows was a wonderful home for our 4 night get away. My son loved the foosball table and everyone else loved the view. Can’t wait to come back!

We've been renting cabins since 2001 and this cabin is one of the best maintained and best equipped. The back porch is wonderful and the views are amazing. Its location makes getting to your favorite places of interest easy, and the cabin's layout and design make it perfect for a lazy day hanging out at the cabin.

Wonderful cabin, wonderful weekend. Each of our three couples had their own private bedrooms and baths. The house is really built well and is gorgeous. And of course the views are breathtaking. We look forward to returning soon.

For the second year in a row, Deer Moments served our family well. The beautiful cabin offers everything needed when away from home and much more. The kitchen is well equipped and designed for foodies at their finest. The kitchen, dining room, and family room are open to picturesque views. The wrap around porches and outdoor hot tub seal the deal for comfort and relaxation.

This cabin is remarkable. We definitely enjoyed Deer Moments. The scenery was amazing from dusk to dawn. The place was cleaned and equipped with everything I needed or would expect in a cabin. From the hot tub, grilling, scenery, to foosball. I would definitely recommend this cabin to everyone. I will be returning.

This was the best cabin my family has ever stayed in. The view was spectacular and everything in the cabin had been thought through from the plush towels, hot tub towels, kitchen utensils, etc. You will need a 4 wheel drive in the winter. It’s a drive up and down the mountain, but we loved the adventure and easy access to all the neighboring towns. We’re already talking about the next time we’d like to stay. Wonderful trip and memories!

Love this cabin (and the owner's know why!). They have it kept up great, great view, comfortable, fun for the family, etc. My family will continue to come back to Deer Moments as long as we can (as we have done so previously on many occasions). It has a soft place in our hearts that will never fade away.

Celebrating our sons high school graduation, we stayed the weekend at Deer Moments. Gorgeous views - enough room for everyone - great hot tub - kitchen appliances are high end - well stocked with everything you could need! Will definitely recommend and hope to return soon!

This cabin is great. Each level has like its own personal space. Beautifully decorated and very clean. Amazing views from the cabin and the wildlife on the way up to cabin. Everything we could have wanted and we will definitely rent this cabin again.

The cabin we stayed in was excellent in every way. It was very clean the kitchen and rooms were very nice, it was convenient to lots of nice locations, Valle Crucis, Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk. We would definitely love to use this cabin on another trip.

Simply wonderful! We needed a cabin to fit my family’s needs and this was it. It was furnished well, very modern and clean! And did I mention quiet? No noisy neighbors or bright street lights; just sit on the deck and look at the stars and what a view. Rent this place with confidence. Even the drive to the cabin really puts in the 'mountain spirit.

We have stayed multiple times at this property. The house is very clean and the views are amazing! We love that each bedroom is on a different level with a sitting area. Allows everyone their own space. The drive to the home is an adventure - but we book this home to escape from the real world and recharge. We will be back!

We have stayed in Deer Moments several times and it never disappoints. The floor plan works great for couples or even a large family. Everyone has their own bedroom/bath and sitting area. The three levels are brilliant! The kitchen is open and well appointed. The large dining table allows you to enjoy time together as family while staring out the window at the amazing view. When we stay at Deer Moments, we are content to spend the majority of our time at the cabin on the back deck or gathered around the fire place. The drive up from Valle Crucis is part of the adventure. Who doesn’t like seeing the farm animals along the way. The home is secluded but a short ride to Valle Crucis and Boone and Banner Elk are easily accessible. Our son is a student at ASU and this provides the perfect place for us to stay when we visit and want to escape from the real world. The house is furnished perfectly and very clean! We look forward to many more stays at this beautiful home!
