We had a great stay at Crystal View. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals.The beds were very comfortable. The porch and deck were great to rock the day away in the cool mountains . We appreciated the walk in shower and roomy bathroom with an elevated toilet for easier access with people with arthritic knees One improvement for handicap access would be grab bars in the shower. Overall a beautiful home ,well maintained ,and very comfortable. The house was beautifully cleaned by the cleaning service. We had a great time and hope to return to that gracious home.

This was the second time that we stayed at Crystal View. We didn't want to leave. It's a magical home with all the must needed conveniences. The kitchen is well stocked and the furnishings are gorgeous. The master bath has a wonderful shower with fantastic water pressure. Your company makes it a smooth experience to check in, and super easy to checkout. The blueridge mountains feel like home to us and this rental has breathtaking views. The cabin is in an excellent location, very close to Blowing Rock and Boone. It was very nice to be able to take our dogs and the property management was very communicative about the check-in and check-out process. A lovely wrap-around porch with beautiful views! Hiking trails close by.

The panoramic views from the wrap-around deck of this cabin are amazing. Kitchen is well stocked with appliances, dishes, cooking and eating utensils. King bed is soft and queen bed if firm. Centrally located and easy access to both Boone, Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

We could not have had a better experience! The house was clean, beds were surprisingly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked (We cooked all meals except for 2). We live in SWFL and my 4 year old wanted to experience some winter fun and we were not disappointed! We rented Saturday to Saturday and actually got snowed in on Sunday-Tuesday. We had so much fun (and so did our 2 dogs) playing in the snow making snow angels, building snowmen, and having snowball fights. The roads were plowed as soon as it stopped snowing and we were able to navigate the mountain safely with AWD. We went ice skating and tubing in the surrounding areas and also visited Mystery Hill (highly recommend). The views couldn't be beat. Our daughter is already asking when we are going back. We will definitely return!

We LOVED staying at Crystal View. We were in town for a belated ceremony for our App. State graduate. The home was perfectly located. It was close to campus and access to anything we needed, yet we felt a million miles away. The house was perfectly suited for 4 adults and 1 very happy dog! The split floor plan is great - with a master bedroom on each side of the house and living space in the middle. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the kitchen was fully equipped. While the inside was lovely our favorite part was the back deck. It overlooked greenery and woods with only the roof of 1 other home visible to us. We enjoyed eating outside, reading in the chairs and loved the fact that the deck was completely “fenced” to the house so we could leave the door to the deck open without worrying that our dog would leave the property. We would return to Crystal View in a minute! Thank you!

I'm sorry for the delay response with my review. The cabin rental was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. It truly looked like an interior designer decorated it. It had all of the comforts of home and then some. The views from the deck took our breath away. We have never had a more relaxing stay. It felt like a serine magical getaway. We felt very safe in the gated community. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals were a dream to work with. They were very helpful and professional from start to finish. We would LOVE to come back for a visit! Property was just what we needed for a weekend getaway with our 4 year son and family dog. Great views of the valley and mountains. House was quiet, clean and priced appropriately. Kitchen and non-master bath could use a facelift (although functional) as everything else stood out due to recent renovations. We found driving the mountain road to Boone was easier than to Blowing Rock. I would recommend this place to friends and would stay here again although we prefer to try new places.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house in December. Stunning views/sunset from the large back porch. If the weather was warmer we would have sat in the porch chairs all morning drinking our coffee. The location is ideal- quick drive to both downtown Boone and Blowing Rock. Great house for a relaxing mountain weekend getaway.

The drive is totally doable for the faint at heart, but I recommend taking Poplar Grove Road vs. Schulls Mill for the first bit. Love this place!

We did have one little surprise. The road the house is on was being resurfaced during our stay. We had no idea, but a resident in the neighborhood saw us walking one morning and informed us just in time for us to move our vehicle outside the gates of the neighborhood before we got trapped since the road would be closed for 1.5-2 days. We were not allowed to drive on the road so for two days so we hiked back and forth from the entrance of the community to the house while the road was off limits. We’re active/healthy people so it all worked out and the road was open by the time we loaded up to leave, but it would have been nice to know in advance.

The house was great but it could use a good cleaning as cobwebs were on walls and dusty in areas.. other then that everything was just perfect and I would stay there again.

I wish I could explain how the online photos sell Crystal View short when they look exactly like the images I took, but they do. This place is amazing. It looks exactly as the images online, but they can't capture the cozy, yet upscale feel. The furnishings are perfect for the space both in style and comfort. There are four sliding doors to the deck, which spans the entire back side of the house. We went during stick season, which may have improved the view which was unobstructed by leaves. I would imagine during late spring through the fall the porch would feel more enclosed and private, but the house is separated from the other houses enough to feel secluded even without the leaves. There is a house on the left that makes for a close neighbor, but once you walk into the house it's like they aren't there, even from the deck. The damper would not open on one side keeping us from using the fireplace upon arrival (after 10 PM on a Friday). I emailed the Blue Ridge Rentals and maintenance called and arrived Saturday morning to remedy the problem manually. This worked and we were able to have a fire the rest of the weekend. The left side of the damper has a broken piece, so this may be completely fixed by the time a new renter arrives. The location is ideal. Away from the hustle and bustle, but 15 minutes to Blowing Rock, 17 to Boone. Moses Cone park and the Parkway are less than 5 minutes from the house. Bass and Trout lakes are also within 10 minutes. If you don't have a huge crowd, don't stay anywhere else. More than a family (parents and kids) or two couples might be close quarters and less enjoyable.

Perfect in every respect...the home was well furnished. The kitchen was better equipped with dishes...pots and pans...utensils than any place we stayed. The rental staff was extremely responsive to all of our needs during the stay. And please convey to the cleaning supervisor that Shea and her Mother did an excellent job cleaning the home when we arrived. We are planning to return next New Year. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

I can't say enough good things about this home. It is so welcoming and had everything you could need. The layout is great with a large open living and dining area that separates the two bedrooms. There is a massive deck with incredible views. The beds are really comfortable and the home is tastefully decorated. We will definitely stay here again!

Crystal View was the perfect location for our anniversary weekend! The location is secluded and very quiet with a phenomenal view. Boone experienced it’s first snow shower of the season the first night we were in the cabin so it was beautiful waking up to a dusting on the roof tops and trees below. The owners of this cabin have furnished & decorated Crystal View in a luxurious style unlike any other cabin we’ve rented. The mix of solid mahogany-toned wood furniture, leather sofas, posh floral bedding, shag rugs/pillows, and Tiffany stained glass lamps along with the rustic wood ceiling & floors create a wonderful ambiance. The cabin was extremely clean as well. I would suggest not driving a very large vehicle or super sized truck if you wish to park easily. This cabin does only have space for two cars parked parallel in front of the cabin or one large truck in our case. Also a 4x4 would definitely be needed during ice and snow due to the steep and curvy terrain. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay at Crystal View again!

It was also ideal when we had overnight company, because the guest room was at the opposite end from the master bedroom. We truly loved the covered back deck and we ate dinner on it every night. We had an unexpected bonus on the Fourth of July because Crystal View overlooks the Hound Ears golf course, which has fireworks every year. We enjoyed a great view of the fireworks show. As usual, you answered all my questions and took care of the minor problems we had. We met the owners, and they were very accommodating and helpful. Crystal Mountain is a delightful community; all the people there were very friendly. They even invited us to join them in the weekly Friday evening "Happy Hour" and included us in their July 4th celebration. We were very happy with our summer at Crystal View.

Excellent overall rental experience. The home was neat and clean upon arrival. When we contacted the management company to request a trash pickup, they responded immediately. And they were also very accommodating on checkout day, helping us leave town quickly in advance of Hurricane Florence. We would definitely rent from Blue Ridge in the future.

We enjoyed a very comfortable 4 night stay in this nicely remodeled and well appointed home. Great location between Boone and Blowing Rock, in a quiet, peaceful setting overlooking the valley below. There's a great covered deck with tables, chairs, etc. to really take advantage of the setting. Beds, bathrooms, kitchen were all comfortable and contained everything we needed. The management company was great to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.
