We chose Cruizin' River for our family vacation and couldn't be more satisfied! The home is beautiful with that classic cabin feel and TONS of room to accommodate the 10 of us (to include 2 small children) there are plenty of bed/sleep options, a lower level with games/game system and of course THE RIVER AND THE VIEWS. We all loved having the various decks to hang out on and the walk down to the river is short and easy (we were nervous with kids, but the yard is flat and it was easy to maneuver to get into the river) What a gorgeous place to be and visit! The home was clean, well stocked and I cannot express enough how helpful and kind Blue Ridge Rentals was throughout the process. We are already planning our vacation for next summer.

Truly enjoyed staying at Cruzin River Dreams. Everything was wonderful and my family enjoyed our time there. We spend a lot of time playing in the basement and absolutely loved the gas logs and hot tube. We thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay here. 10 family members and 1 Yorkie had plenty of room. Everything was neat and clean; and the sleeping options were more than adequate. Kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. Gas grill and charcoal grill gave us choices on grilling out. I must say the game room was the greatest highlight for the 4 kids. They started and ended each day in the game room and all of them became better pool, ping-pong, and air hockey players. It also kept them away from the electronic devices. They loved the hot-tub and used it regardless of outside temperatures. During a brief lift of the outdoor burn ban, we had a fire in the fire pit and cooked smores. The river was cold but inviting so my grandson put on his hip waders and crossed the river several times. He selected a flat rock, painted it and left it on the hearth with the rocks left by previous guests. The location was great, and we easily made short trips to Boone, Blowing Rock, the Parkway and our favorite – West Jefferson. As is customary in the mountains in the late fall, we experienced sunny days, windy days, cold days, and rainy days, but the weather did not interfere with our exploration of the area or our enjoyment of the house. My wife (the matriarch of our family) summed up our stay this way, “of all the houses where we have stayed in the mountains, this is the house I want to come back to again and again.” And when Grandmoma is happy, everyone is happy.

Not a place for the physically impaired, so my sister couldn’t visit us there … but overall, our group did enjoy being at the cabin. We did not access many accessories in the cabin (no use of the hot tub, video games, TVs, floats or bikes—but we had some great air hockey challenges at night, as during the days we visited a lot of local attractions and local friends and relatives, and enjoyed each others’ company (without entertainment—except card games) while there.
We (multiple cooks in the family) became a little frustrated from time to time, with the smaller size of the refrigerator, as we were booked for 10 days, and had invited our three adult children and spouses, whom came and left during our stay, as their schedules permitted, and we kept plenty of food on hand, which was difficult to store properly. We made do by using a couple of coolers to store cold foods, and went to the store more often than we had planned. It worked out alright because some of the folks had to shorten their stay or not stay at all, and we never had 10 folks overnight there at once, but fresh and frozen food storage was a bit of a challenge, even though we didn’t often have three meals a day at the cabin. Overall, the River, the perfect weather (thanks for ordering that for us 😉), and the fact that the local area there is one of our favorite places in the world made it delightful. Thanks to the owners for sharing that lovely spot.

It was Heaven and better than what I expected. All the amenities were a hit with the kids and whole family. We made use of the full game room and hot tub. Also built a campfire by the river one night. There was a Cornhole set and various ball and racket sets. Even a cooler to use to carry down to the water. Floats were provided for tubing on the river if it was a summer stay. I was worried if there would be enough kitchen utensils and appliances but there was so much we didn't need anything! Even crockpots and a countertop electric double burner as well as a gas grill we used one night. Satellite TV and internet worked fine. Very clean and bed & furniture so comfy. We had to have someone come light a pilot light but they were there asap. It was already late in the evening but they still came to help us. We asked for more towels and plenty were dropped off. Even had a washer and dryer which was a huge plus. It was so quiet and peaceful. The sky was clear and the stars bright! I will definitely be coming back. The cabin was fantastic. Lots to do to keep a big family occupied and entertained. Access to the river was a plus. It snowed two of the days we were there and made for beautiful scenery. Our family had an amazing time at the cabin! We enjoyed playing in the game room for hours, playing in the very cold river (kids still loved it), and there was plenty of room for all of us (2 adults/4 kids). The views are beautiful! We had an issue with the pilot light going out on the heater downstairs, and they had someone out within a few hours to fix it! We cannot wait to go back! The cabin was clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more!

This is our 2nd cabin with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals and we absolutely loved our stay yet again! Cruizin'River Dreams was the most delightful cabin to stay in. The basement had a pool table, foosball, ping pong, air hockey, bicycles and a TV for anyone that wanted to watch the big game. The entire cabin was VERY clean and beautifully decorated! The land around the cabin was stunning. Enjoyed listening to the river in the background. LOVED every second of our stay. We will definitely return. Lovely place. Created tons of family memories.... This is our second stay here. We love this cabin and the fact that it’s a little off the beaten path. It’s the perfect place If you’re looking to be close to town but still get the feel of being in a cabin in the mountains. We plan on returning next October for our sons birthday once again!

It was a very nice experience for us all. I want to thank the owners for allowing us to bring our four paw family members. What a beautiful view of the river! We wanted a place to just relax and unwind and this was the place to do just that. The game room brought the family together and had many laughs over the arcade, ping pong and foosball. Now we want a game room back home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to veg out and kick back and relax. DirecTV is awesome and a little unexpected. We didn’t want to leave the comforts of home too much. This place offered perfect balance. Thank you for renting your awesome place to us!

What a beautiful view of the river! We wanted a place to just relax and unwind and this was the place to do just that. The game room brought the family together and had many laughs over the arcade, ping pong and foosball. Now we want a game room back home. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to veg out and kick back and relax. DirecTV is awesome and a little unexpected. We didn’t want to leave the comforts of home too much. This place offered perfect balance. Thank you for renting your awesome place to us!

Had a great time in your lovely mountain home, so peaceful and beautiful view. Loved sitting on the back porch rocking enjoying the view. So much fun being with all toys and games in the basement it truly brought out the kids in all of us
