Coach's Cabin at Linville Land Harbor

Our stay at Coaches Cabin was great and we enjoyed 3 nights at the end of September. Everything was clean and neat and fit our party of 7 and our 3 furry pets. The neighborhood was thigh to navigate, and the houses were very close together but once inside we didn't notice the neighbors. The house had everything that we needed and a few extra touches that we enjoyed. The kids really like the hot chocolate and I like that they provided paper coffee cups that we could take with us. We also like the fenced yard, so we didn't have to worry about pets when we were sitting out on the porch. We would definitely consider staying there again when we visit the mountains.

The house is very roomy and clean. We had five adults, one kid and a dog and never felt cramped. The neighborhood itself is hard to navigate (especially at night) BUT the instructions you are given to travel are spot on. Tons of appliances, dishes and odds and ends that were available for use. Would definitely go back if we stayed in the area again.

We came to the area to see the Highland Games and this property was very convenient to Grandfather Mountain. The accommodations were so cute and our family of four (my husband and I, our 20 year old son and 17 year old daughter) had plenty of space. The kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed a family movie after our active day. Highly recommend this cute place! Just lovely :)

We stayed here when we came up for a long weekend to see grandfather mountain and go to the land of oz. It was perfect - the cabin had everything we could need and more. My kids loved the bunk beds and never even slept in the other bedrooms! It was close by to everything and we enjoyed nightly walks around the community!

Perfect stay for a short ski/snowboard trip. About 25 minutes to Sugar and 40 to Beech. Nice and cozy and plenty of room for family/friends!

We enjoyed our time at Coaches Cabin. It was very clean and had plea that of room for 4 of us and our dog! Great location to travel to all the touristy attractions. We wanted to ski, but the weather had other plans so we had to improvise and were able to drive to many locations for day trips. We will definitely recommend and be back!

This is a cozy little cabin. Our family of 4 and dog really felt very much at home here. The Blue Ridge Parkway was not too far away and bursting with October colors. A wonderful trip.

The Coach's Cabin was exactly as described and couldn't be more quaint or cozy. We only needed two rooms, but it easily could have fit more comfortably as the use of space in the cabin was so well thought out. The community was quiet and lovely. The amenities kept us busy enjoying the outdoors and we were just minutes away from Grandfather Mountain/the highland Games. This area has so many amazing things to offer! We highly recommend and will be staying here again!!

We enjoyed our stay in a very quiet location which allowed us to explore Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, and Blowing Rock. It seemed like our only neighbors were birds. Coach's Cabin had plenty of room for everyone!

You know how sometimes you go to places in the mountains or the beach, and the water tastes weird? Not this place! Cozy and conveniently located, this was great for hiking and for sight seeing and other adventures near Linville. And the little fenced in back yard was perfect.

Coach's Cabin was really great! We had to leave our home for the weekend with the dogs and this was the perfect place! The yard was great. Love, love, love the decor and personal touches in this place! The location was beautiful and great for our walks. We would totally stay here again! Also they were very helpful to recommend places to hike and super responsive and friendly any time I reached out. We even got to check in a bit early so that was greatly appreciated!

We stayed in Coach’s Cabin and thoroughly enjoyed it! We had our two dogs and the fenced in area was perfect for them. There was snow on the ground and they loved it and we loved not having to leash them up every time they needed to go out. There were some cute valentines candy treats left for us as well. I appreciated the rock salt left outside also as the driveway was slick from the weather. The neighborhood did a great job having the roads cleared and I wouldn’t hesitate returning to this property.

We stayed at Coach's Cabin for a weekend of snow tubing and we loved it ! Every detail of the home was well thought out and there were board games, DVD's, even colored pencils for the kids . The cabin was clean and plenty of toiletries provided . It is on the back side of the neighborhood , so if you go in snowy months be prepared for ice/snow to get in the driveway. We already plan to go back in warmer months to take advantage of the neighborhood amenities .

This has been our favorite property to date! We highly appreciated the dog friendly atmosphere, the pups loved the fenced in area. Everything was as described and clean. Loved the jetted tub. We will DEFINITELY be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Coach's Cabin. Our family has a house in Land Harbor and we needed extra room for a growing family. The cabin was well appointed and had all the amenities you will need. Air conditioning was a bonus in the summer. The porch is a relaxing place to have coffee. Houses are very close in this section of Land Harbor, but it was very quiet and peaceful. However, as this was an addition to an RV, if you are taller than 6' the second bedroom is a no go. My husband is 6'8” and had to watch it in the kitchen too. The area has a lot to offer, with the Blue Ridge Parkway about 3 miles away and quaint towns like Blowing Rock and Banner Elk nearby. You won't regret staying here, do it!

My husband and I really enjoyed the charm of Coach's Cabin and the Linville Harbor neighborhood. (And so did our dog, Indy Belle.) I was just fine with no a/c but would have liked a small stacked type washer/dryer available in the cabin. The cabin, landscaping, community pool and LLH public golf course were immaculate! We enjoyed swimming, golf, the Highland Games, Grandfather Mountain, Boone, Blowing Rock, area antique and junk stores, Elk City Main Street and Elk River Falls. We also enjoyed lunches at a couple of the farm to table restaurants in the area. Peace & Blessings to all~~unleash good!

Coach's Cabin is beautifully decorated and so very cozy and comfortable, and the rental company an absolute pleasure to work with! We had the best weekend visit to the Sugar and Beech Mountain area, and will definitely plan to rent this cabin again.

We loved our time at Coaches Cabin! Me, my husband, and our 9 month pup were able to relax and enjoy the high country from its central location. Linville Land Harbor offers so many activities. We especially enjoyed walking the the lake. The cabins was so cute and very clean. Everything we needed to cook was in the kitchen. Even though there was no AC, the cabin was comfortable. There are a couple of things future renters should be aware of-the laundry facilities are not right around the corner. They are located in another section of Linville Land Harbor about a mile away. Also, it is difficult for an adult to access the fenced yard. You must climb up a small, steep, muddy hill to get in there. It is doable, and our pup loved it.
