With plenty of room to spread out, this space is ideal for guests of all ages. Retreat to the covered hot tub outside, where you can soak away your cares while taking in the crisp mountain air and scenic views. With its private, sheltered setting, it's the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking, skiing, or exploring Banner Elk.
Step outside and discover one of Chateau Woof's most impressive features: its expansive covered deck that offers direct views of Grandfather Mountain! Soaring timber beams frame the beautiful long-range views, creating a spectacular backdrop for morning coffee, afternoon relaxation, or evenings spent with family and friends. Enjoy outdoor dining, fire up the gas grill, or gather around the outdoor fire table as the sun sets over the mountains.
Chateau Woof provides an excellent home base for enjoying everything the North Carolina High Country has to offer. Spend your days exploring Grandfather Mountain, visiting the shops and restaurants of downtown Banner Elk, enjoying nearby hiking trails, or hitting the slopes at Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain during ski season.
And because mountain adventures are even better with your four-legged companions, Chateau Woof is dog-friendly, so your pups can join in on the fun!
Additional Notes:
- Chateau Woof is located in an up-and-coming neighborhood with a few surrounding homes currently under construction. While we do not expect major disruptions, guests may occasionally notice daytime noise or construction activity.
- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Stayed with us before? Chateau Woof offers a 10% discount to returning guests (not to be combined with any other discounts).
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- This home is pet friendly. Two mature, well-trained dogs allowed with an additional $25 per day, per dog fee.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- The main road leading to the home is paved; however, there is a short gravel section that is moderately steep. The driveway itself is paved.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- The owner utilizes exterior cameras to monitor the driveway and the front yard.
