Welcome to Bucks Cabin, a charming pet-friendly cabin nestled in the mountains near Boone, North Carolina!

Upon entering the cabin, you'll find yourself on the main level, where rustic charm meets modern comfort. The heart of the cabin lies here, where a warm and inviting living space awaits. Gather around the gas fireplace on chilly evenings, creating cherished memories with loved ones. The fully equipped kitchen beckons aspiring chefs to whip up delicious meals, while the adjacent dining area provides a cozy spot to enjoy them. The main level boasts a cozy queen bedroom, perfect for guests seeking easy access. Additionally, there is a bedroom with two twin beds, ideal for kids or additional guests, and a shared bathroom with a combination tub/shower.

Ascending the staircase to the upper level, you'll discover a spacious log king suite, offering a luxurious retreat with a private TV. This suite provides ample privacy and comfort, complete with its own ensuite bathroom.

Step outside onto the wrap-around porch, where you'll find a large screened-in room at the back, offering the perfect setting for al fresco dining amidst the tranquil surroundings.
Venture downstairs to the lower level, where entertainment awaits in the den. Sink into plush seating as you unwind in front of the TV, or challenge friends and family to a lively game of foosball. A table for board games invites friendly competition and bonding moments. You will find a queen bedroom on the lower level with an adjacent bathroom. The lower deck features a porch swing and access to the lower yard. From both decks, you're greeted by the soothing sounds of a nearby creek, setting the tone for a serene mountain retreat.

Outside, the grounds beckon exploration and relaxation alike. Gather around the firepit under the starry night sky, sharing stories and toasting marshmallows for s'mores.
Whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation, our pet-friendly cabin near Boone offers the perfect mountain escape for creating lasting memories with loved ones.


Additional Notes:

- CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
- Repeat guests returning to this home can receive a 5% discount, not to be stacked with other discounts.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. 
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a firestarter for $25 plus tax.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- This property is pet friendly for up to 1 dog at a time. Pet rent is $25 per day plus tax. 
- AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months. The main road leading to this home is paved however, the driveway has s moderate incline. 
- Parking for a maximum of 4 vehicles.

The close proximity of both banner elk and Boone was perfect, but also the home felt like it was miles away in the mountains. Ideal location for people who want to go to the mountains and get out and explore the area l.

This cabin was perfect for our family with young kids. So clean and well kept, great location in nature but close to Blowing Rock, Grandfather, etc. Our kids loved the deer feeder, which brought many deer to the house around 8am and 5pm. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great access to Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Hound Ears Club. Nearby deer feeder provided lots of fun watching the deer have breakfast & dinner. We would rent this property again as pet lovers!

We had a great time as 4 adults with 3 toddlers. The toddlers loved playing on the screened in porch and there was room for all of us. The place was very clean and we had no issues!

We loved everything about this cabin. It was well stocked. We had everything we needed and then some. They have thought of all the little details from the flashlights by the bed to the extra blankets and candles. It was the perfect distance from town. One of my favorite things to do is to watch for deer and we saw them every morning. Thank you so much!

Very clean property, nicely maintained. Check in process was made very easy, communication with the rental company via text was convenient. This property has a wonderful back porch where we ate all our meals and spent a lot of quality time. Noise does travel within the cabin, but that's to be expected for the type of home. LOVED the fire pit area, used it almost every night. There is parking in front of the home but you can also continue down the drive and circle around to the back for more parking. Convenient location to both Boone and Blowing Rock, as well as many area attractions.

Buck's Cabin is a wonderfully maintained property. We enjoyed hearing the nearby creek as we sat on the porch, there is ample seating inside and outside for meals and leisure time, and has an excellent location close to Boone, Valle Crucis, and Sugar.
