Buckhorn Lodge

Absolutely stunning location! Our group loved waking up and sitting out on the porch with coffee. The fire pit was also a great hit. The view is fantastic and the house felt very private. The kitchen was stocked with all of the pots & pans our group needed, which made cooking meals for a large group easy. The host was very responsive and the house was exactly as described. We will be back!

This place is immaculate, everything looks brand new. Well equipped for both adults and kids, quiet, and the views are amazing. Managed by a professional property management company, and it shows. Overall a 5 star class act. We really enjoyed our stay, and wish it was longer.

We had a wonderful time at Buckhorn Lodge for our winter getaway. Any questions were promptly answered by Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. It was ready and clean as soon as we arrived. We had a fabulous time!

We had a wonderful experience while staying at Buckhorn Lodge. The house was very well equipped with nice personal touches too. We had the power go out in part of the house one evening and somebody came immediately to fix it.

We had several family and close friends that wanted to get away for an extended weekend of skiing. The house fit our needs perfectly! We had ample space to hang out together but not all be right on top of one another. Our children's ages range from 7-15, and there was plenty of space as well as activities in the house to keep everyone entertained. A great property to rent!!

Can't say enough good things about Buckhorn lodge or the staff at Blueridge! We only had one hiccup and they were on it immediately ! This house is spectacular. The pictures do not do it justice. Perfect location and stunning views. We will 100% rent this property again.

High elevation, great view, wonderful property ! We have stayed in this property twice and will stay again in the future. Property management team was outstanding, above and beyond expectations when we had to come early due to the recent hurricane.

the pictures on the website don't do this place justice it was more beautiful in person i celebrated my birthday with my kids at this cabin it was the best birthday it was clean warm and spacious i will be back and my hats off to Cassie she was the best representative and there customer service was a 5 star

Hi! This is a really fun place. We are girl scouts. We got lost in the woods and then it started to rain. But then we went in the hot tub. We biked 17 miles. There are 14 girls here. We are troop R512. We paid for htis by selling cookies. We had so much fun!

Hello. We loved using this house. We h ad so much fun, but we should have more memories to make. We are a girl scout troop. We love helping people who need it! We paid for this by selling cookies. We all loved the hot tub and biked 17 miles, went to Valle Crucis and hiked a waterfall and much more. We are so grateful for this trip and thank you people!

We did the swinging bridge, alpine coaster, swimming hole, Blowing Rock, shopping, Boone. Our second night, all the family was here. We were downstairs listening to the juke box, playing pool, and drinking!

We hiked Otter Falls, had a girls day in Banner Elk and Grandfather Vineyard, and a guys day tubing down the New River. We went to Tweetsie Railroad to see Thomas the Train. Enjoyed the hot tub and dinner at Artisanal.

Attended a family wedding. Stayed a few extra days - a mini family reunion. House was nice. Views were awesome. Took Family pics. Deer in the backyard. What we loved about the house 1) the layout 2) the hot tub 3) the pool table 4) the video games 5) the Banner Elk and Boone Area. Will be back soon!

We enjoyed the hot tub, playing pool and the jukebox. In Banner Elk, we ate at Bodegas. In Boone, we shopped and ate Mexican. Hiked at Grandfather Mountain and Otter Falls Trail. Went to the Mast Store in Valle Crucis. In Blowing Rock, shopped and ate at the English pub.

We played chickenfoot w/ dominos, went hiking, went fishing, shopped in Blowing Rock, relaxed and ATE!! Ended having church service online. We enjoyed each others company and relaxed!!

We ate at Banner Elk Lodge - Good, The Local - Great, catered chefs 2 nights, El Rincon - Blowing Rock City. We went UTV riding - awesome, definitely do this!! Block Rock is neat to visit. Grandfather Mountain! Highly recommend. Fishing as well. Hiking trails with Family. Fire pit and s'mores! Favorite moments were hanging at the home with my family, visiting Grandfather Mountain with my wife and driving the roads, taking in the scenery.

We enjoyed the house so much! It snowed about 7 inches the first night so we got to enjoy a long snow day! We grilled out, watched the super bowl and played lots of pool. The adults enjoyed the jacuzzi during the "blizzard" and it was amazing!! Thank you for this beautiful house!!! We found bear tracks in the snow!! the kids were over the moon!

We went hiking, snow tubing, relaxed and enjoyed the view, laughs, play games, enjoyed the hot tub, the views (did I mention the view) and peace and quiet and for our surprise when we arrived the house and surroundings were covered in snow! We saw snow for the first time! Amazing Experience. We saw some deer! Beautiful! Our favorite moment was seeing the snow! We have some fabulous pictures! Snow! Snow! Snow!

We skied at Sugar Mtn, hiked Beacon Heights (gorgeous), visited downtown Blowing Rock, watched UNC beat Miami. The highlight was Beacon Heights - Breathtaking views and dinner at Bella's Italian!!

We did the mountain coaster, Tweetsie Railroad, Biltmore, Grandfather Mountain and Mile High Bridge, Boone Fork Trail and Linville Falls trail. We see deer, groundhogs, and a skunk! We played games, pool and roamed around the property and forest. Our favorite moments were the Boone Fork Trail and family time together.

We hiked at Hebron, road the new alpine coaster, visited Banner Elk Winery, and enjoyed the basement rec room and the hot tub. This is the Edward's 2nd stay at Buckhorn Lodge, and we still love the house. We had children aged 16-2 and fun was had by all. Can't wait to return!

We went to Grandfather Profile, Linville Gorge Upper Falls, and Heborn Falls. We played wiffle ball at Blowing Rock Park, visited Valle Crucis, Candy Barrel, walked around Banner Elk. We ate at Bellas, Valle De Bravo, Pedalin Pig, Famous Louse, Sorrentos, Elevations, and Mellow Mushroom. Our favorite moments were lots of laughs with this group.

We enjoyed the house. The views were incredible and many of us were inspired for different purposes. Friendships formed and grew stronger while each person learned something new about themselves. The beds were comfortable, and we used all the salt. Our bad, we needed it. I could have stayed in this mountain house for a lifetime. Thanks for helping create the experience.

We enjoyed lots of hiking: Upper Falls (love the rope swing), Linville Falls, Otter Falls. Hawksnest zipline was awesome. Ate lots of food! Bella's Vallede Bravo, Mellow Mushroom, Kilwins, Grandview Cafe, Pedalin PIg. Played wiffle ball at Blowing Rock Park. Watched women's college world series. We made smores in the bonfire outside! We enjoyed all the laughs.

We did a whole lot of nothing. Great place here. Lots of love. Our favorite moments were resting in the hot tub in the cool 50 degree weather. Cole dropped his shoe off the deck and Michael took six tries to get it back up to him.

We went to Wahoo water rafting, sight seeing, shopping, Ridgewood BBQ (diner, drive in - dives w/ Guy was there in an episode); alpaca and llama farm tour; Grandfather vineyard. Enjoyed the hot tub, porches, interior of house and each other and visitors - 10 of us. We went to Blue Hole Falls, Otter Falls, Elizabethton Covered Bridge. We loved every minute of it.

We went tubing at Sugar Mountain in between the rain. We spent the rest of our time enjoying this beautiful house. Despite the weather we had a wonderful time. We came for a family vacation and our daughter's graduation from App State! What a wonderful time. We enjoyed hiking, Tweetsie, wineries, Tate Evans park, but most importantly time spent with family.
