The porch is so wonderful for coffee in the mornings - or for anytime of the day. House is beautifully decorated and the furniture is great! Sitting on the porch listening to the river babble over the rocks was so very peaceful. We even saw resident deer in the back yard area the first evening we were there. The cabin is so convenient for shopping, restaurants, and area attractions. Rain on the tin roof was quite relaxing too! We really liked the cabin!

I am in the US coast guard and have been working in the area for the US EPA. I have stayed in your cabin for a couple of weeks vice staying in a hotel room. It has been a very comfortable stay. Thank you!

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin! We loved the decorations, tide packets, and firewood. We used the spices to cook a trout we caught and the firewood to make smores! Our family enjoyed the scenery and our hikes up the fire tower and Grandfather mountain. It was relaxing to come back to the cabin afterwards and hang out by the creek. We even caught a small fish in it. Thanks again for sharing such a nice place.

What a great place! We very much enjoyed our stay. The boys were fascinated with the trout and the stream despite not catching anything. This is such a cozy place.. I wish that it had been colder. We;ll have to come back in the winter. We wondered if one of you is from Cuba - I am a Spanish teacher. Thank you for sharing

We loved our stay at Bridgepoint Cabin! My two boys and dog and I spent a long weekend here, and the owner has thought of everything. Fully stocked kitchen supplies, wi-fi, plenty of towels, local information, comfy beds, coffee, fireplace, hot tub, tasteful decor, plenty of hot water, and everything in between. My boys (10 and 7) really loved cuddling with the teddy bears that were laying around and really loved the loft bedroom. It was cold when we arrived but the heat warmed up quickly and it was SO cozy! We sat in the hot tub every night, cooked lunches and dinners, and had coffee on the porch while listening to the river. We took a drive through the Blue Ridge Parkway to see the fall colors, took the kids to the trout farm where my 10-year-old caught a 3-lb Rainbow Trout. (They cleaned it for us and so we were able to have it for dinner, which was fun for the kids!) We fished in the river in front of the cabin until the cold front came through. Had a great dinner at Over Yonder and of course visited the Mast General Store and the House of Jerky. The kids didn't ask for their phones/iPads or to watch TV even one time! They both came away saying "Best weekend EVER!" The cabin itself is much more beautiful and cozy in person than the photos depict. And the location is fantastic. We'll definitely be back!

Bridgepoint Cabin is a lovely rental. It comfortably sleeps 4+ people. It is located on the edge of a scenic and actually fishable creek! The cabin is well-appointed and decorated in a warm, rustic, High Country décor. The heat and A/C work well, the jacuzzi a lovely enhancement on the outside deck. We often enjoy late evenings on the deck watching the fly fishermen as the sun sets . I’d rate this cabin an A+ for a couple or a small family. Easy access to the main roads, and no gravel or steep roads-which we find a big plus in High Country!

My family and I stayed at Bridgepoint Cabin for four nights, 8/18-8/22. It was our first trip to the Banner Elk/Boone area and we could not have chosen a better cabin for our needs. The home is a good size for a family with two small children and could have supported at least two or there more adults comfortably as well. The biggest plus for us was the fact that it is centrally located and convenient to a lot of things to do in the area. We visited Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, gem mining, and several local dining options. All of these were within a 15-20 min drive, with most even less than that. Our oldest daughter loved the hot tub on the back deck and playing in the creek behind the house. We're already thinking of booking again for a winter trip at some point soon to see the area during a different season.

This was a great cabin we were able to check in early, it was a great location. We enjoyed walking along the creek and even crossed the creek and walked back. A few of us even took the tube out and tubed a little in the river, seeing since we couldn't find any where to go snow tubing. We also took advantage of the hot tub and fire pit. We will definitely rent this cabin every time we want to go to the mountains.
- Liana, Posted: 05/14/2019
The location was great!! The cabin was comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub!!
- Saralyn, Posted: 05/22/2019
The cabin was very comfortable. It is located on a peaceful and beautiful lot just steps away from the Watauga River. The cabin and lot look exactly like the pictures in the rental description. It was centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. And the plus is that it is very pet friendly! We will definitely stay again.
- Robert, Posted: 06/03/2019
We had a excellent stay. Beautiful weather, beautiful views. Close to town but far enough away for a relaxing time. Hot tub was perfect. The pup really loved the river right there.
- Philip, Posted: 06/11/2019
The cabin was cozy and as pictured on the sight. Close to lots of activities for the kids. Overall a wonderful getaway with family. The only thing I would change is the location so close to the road/bridge with children it made me nervous- though we had no issues at all. It was a gorgeous cabin with everything we needed to feel right at home.
- Kristi, Posted: 10/23/2019
We had a wonderful time relaxing in the mornings and evenings. During the days we hiked Grandfather Mountain and Linville Gorge. And hiked down Sugar Mountain. What a beautiful location. The hot tub and fireplace were perfect for this mountain getaway!
- Jessica, Posted: 11/20/2019
Wonderful stay with well appointed home, thank you!
- Jason, Posted: 12/10/2019
What a cozy little cabin. The cabin is exactly how it is pictured. The river backs up to the property and is peaceful to listen to. The hot tub is also an added perk. On the inside, the house is large enough to seat two families--esp with the loft. My two boys, wife and I (and dog) had plenty of space. The evenings were quiet and I also had the best nap I've had in years. I did not bring my rods to fish, but there were a ton of trout hanging out under the bridge. Just very peaceful. We will be back. Thanks to the Blue Ridge staff for being so courteous. Thanks for having us.
- Jason, Posted: 12/16/2019
From the river in the front yard, to the snow on the ground when we left. We couldn't have asked for a better Honeymoon

Next to the Watauga River, right in front of a bridge, there's nothing better than soaking in a hot tub or sitting by the fire pit after a long day whitewater rafting! Just cozy enough for for your close knit group or family. That comfy cabin feel. Had an issue with an amenity but they were very quick to resolve it! Thanks guys! You made our first AirBnb experience the benchmark to many more we'll have!
- Erin, Posted: 08/25/2020
We had a great time enjoying the property.
- Judy, Posted: 08/25/2020
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. Although it was closer to a fairly well traveled road and I was not anticipating that. The river was wonderful and we so enjoyed relaxing on the porch and hearing the water run. We also saw quite a few people fly fishing. The location was perfect for our daily excursions. The decor was cute and the cabin was just the right size for our party of three. We never needed the loft. All in all a great weekend.
- Vicki, Posted: 11/10/2020
This little cabin was perfect for me and my husband! We had friends meet us for a day and we fished the river, built a fire in the firepit, made smores, and grilled burgers and dogs for dinner. We really enjoyed our stay and the sound of the river flowing by was so relaxing. We would definitely consider staying again!
- Benjamin, Posted: 11/17/2020
Wonderful stay! Highly recommended.
- Lindsey, Posted: 11/17/2020
Great scenery for a nice, relaxing getaway. Loved that they had a list of nearby hikes by degree of difficulty. Made it easy to pull up directions and go without wasting any time. We enjoyed sipping our coffee on the porch, watching the fly fishers wading through the river in the morning. Even with it raining every day, we had a lovely time.
- Nichole, Posted: 12/03/2020
Enjoyed the amazing view of the river while staying warm in the porch hot tub as the snow fell!. Cozy and peaceful!
- Jason, Posted: 12/08/2020
We visited the property last year and fell in love with it. We are back for year #2 (with hope of a trip every year forward). The cabin is well maintained and offers plenty of space. My boys loved playing in the loft. Fireplace kept us warm. Hot tub is a great perk. The river and nearby park offered plenty of areas for trout fishing. If not frozen over, the marshy area in the park is stocked full of fat bass and sunfish. 4WD is a must in winter. The road in will wake you up when it is covered in ice. For a quiet stay, this place is it. Blue Ridge Rentals makes it simple process and staff is extremely friendly. Come enjoy Boone!

Our experience at this cabin was delightful. It was so cozy and peaceful. The hot tub was enjoyed on a cold evening. The kitchen offered all the amenities that were needed. The living room furniture was cozy to snuggle up on in the evening. And the beds were super comfy!!! We also loved all the bear decor. Thank you!

Wonderful place to stay for a short ski trip (20 minute drive to Sugar Mtn.). We enjoyed the hot tub and fireplace. Perfect size and very comfortable for 4 adults. We also loved that we were able to bring our dog- she loved playing in the snow!

We decide to finally plan a trip to NC with our kids and friends, we loved our cabin, it's was even more beautiful than in the pictures, kids loved it to, super near to the mountains and grocery store. It was perfect ??

A great little location in Valle Crucis, with perfect location for relaxation, fishing, and remoteness (but just close enough amenities). Very cozy, and the hot tub at night was spectacular.
- Kate, Posted: 03/26/2021
Better than it looks, and it looks amazing. My kids are virtually doing school this year so an add on for families at this place is the internet is fast enough for that. Also the creek in the front yard and trail were my son's favorite thing to do. Great location to everywhere too!! Will be back for more memories!!
- Tana, Posted: 04/08/2021
This cabin was exactly what we expected — great location, spacious, cozy and welcoming. The kids had a fun time fishing and soaking in the hot tub.
- Emily, Posted: 04/15/2021
"Magical" is not too strong of a word to describe our stay at this cabin. At first, the location felt a little "high traffic" - its right near the bridge over the Watauga, so keep that in mind if you're hoping for a truly isolated getaway. However, within a few hours we came to love vibe of this area and were mesmerized by the fly fishermen (and women!) doing their thing in the Watauga. The cabin is a quick walk to cool Valle Crucis (with a great community park!), and a super short drive between Boone, Banner Elk and the Blue Ridge Parkway to hop on trails. The porch was perfect, beds were comfy, the kitchen was well-stocked, the hosts were great, the hot tub was awesome and oh... don't miss the Jerky Outpost! We were just two friends reconnecting after over a year of exhausting work, but we're actively planning another trip with our families. Highly recommend!
