Boulder Creek at Eagles Nest

I absolutely loved staying here for my birthday trip with my friends. The location is not too far from the surrounding activities. The house was super clean, stylish, and has a gorgeous view. The kitchen was great for cooking, as it was super spacious and had plenty of seasonings and cookware. Since we stayed around the holidays there was decorations throughout the house which made it very homey. Lastly, the secret things about the house made it that much more enjoyable! Thank you :)

Boulder Creek was perfect for our mix of teens and preteens. They loved the arcade games and roomy bunk rooms. Four adult couples were also very happy!

Boulder Creek was simply AMAZING. From it's prime mountainside location inside of Eagles Nest (with amenities galore) to its well-designed layout, every aspect of this home was done with insight and excellence. Porches, amenities, appliances, fireplaces, furniture, artistic design, and holiday decorations (at least around the holidays ;) made this a one of a kind experience. Wonderful place to make lasting memories.

My family has used Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals for quite a few years now. The staff is very professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. We have no complaints at all. They are a phone call away and assist promptly if there is a problem or issue at a vacation home rental. We have stayed in Eagles Nest in Banner Elk NC for most of our annual vacations. The last three years we have stayed at the beautiful Boulder Creek Cabin. It has been by far our most favorite home to spend our annual family vacation. This year we were blessed with an addition to our family. When the owner of Boulder Creek found out we were bringing a baby, he added all the necessary baby items to the amenities of his home. You can't ask for a more wonderful home owner. It made our stay so easy and my niece very happy. Another wonderful feature added this year is the Dollar General Store. Which happens to be walking distance from the Boulder Creek home. We needed diapers one night, and Dollar General had them. It was another successful family vacation in a simply wonderful home. We look forward to next year!!

Year number three at Boulder Creek!! Another family member, our niece and her hubby, joined us this year. Plus, we welcomed a baby girl to the family in August! Checking in: Checking in was very easy. VRBO address and address at check in email were different. Address on email does not show up on GPS so make sure you follow the driving directions on the email once you get up on the mountain. Location: The house is a short 15 minute drive into town and a 5 minute walk into the great camp. There were plenty of fun things to do at the camp for everyone (though a lot is closed during the wonter). If you are going in the winter make sure you take a car that's 4x4 or AWD! The driveway is steep and even though they salt the roads the drive up and down the mountain was challenging after a big snow fall. House: The house is gorgeous, so many unique details and hidden surprises. The house is just as pictured, the kitchen had everything we needed and more! The kids had the two bunk bed rooms and living space downstairs and were in heaven! They loved the trains and all the family games. There is plenty of usable outdoor space which was great for us as we got two winter storms during our stay. Overall, we loved our stay and cannot wait to plan our next one. We would highly recommend it!

Year number two at Boulder Creek! What can we say! We absolutely, without a doubt, love, love, love this home!It is perfect for our family in every way! Eight of us were here on this trip and we enjoyed our time together immensely! The cabin was stunning. The kitchen and dining room was big enough for the entire family to enjoy. The outside fireplace was amazing and made it easy too start with the gas hook up. The workout room was an added bonus. We will be back.

This rental was an absolute dream. There was more than enough space for our entire family (21 people) to sleep comfortably - but that's not really my focus here. This. Cabin. Is. Everything. The kitchen was beyond stocked with all you could need to cook with, the plethora of TVs (perfect for football weekends), the views (be still my heart) and the decks - it was just beyond perfect. Not to mention the fun family kickball game at the field located a short walk away. My family's weekend away at this lovely rental might have saved 2020 for us. It was THAT amazing. First of all, let me say, the house is fabulous! We've rented most of the larger homes in Eagles Nest over the years and Boulder Creek is our favorite by far. The layout is perfect for our large family and each bedroom is comfortable and so inviting. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything we need with the exception of one thing...a Keurig. That's only a preference, I realize, as they already have a perfectly good traditional coffeemaker provided. I could go on and on...the only other thing I'd love from the owners is the floor plan! Haha! We are actually looking for a lot in Eagles Nest this weekend for our own mountain home. I'm sure this will be the first of many stays at Boulder Creek throughout the process.

The house is just built which means it is so clean and new and beautiful inside and out. The house had all the amenities I need. It can sleep a huge group of people comfortably. The beds were so very comfortable and there is so much deck space to enjoy the mountain air. There is a great bonus room downstairs complete with big screen tv and arcade games and foosball table. All in all this is a spectacular home and we cannot wait to return.
