Our new favorite mountain vacation home. Exterior fireplace has some rock tiles missing which may be part of a very poor draft of smoke. Maybe owners are about to repair. Otherwise excellent home and appointed with lots of nostalgia.

Loved the house we rented in Blowing Rock NC in October 2025! House was clean & had everything we needed for a long weekend w/family & 2 large dogs! Upstairs tub had started to back up a little bit but not enough to be a problem yet....notified them & told them they could do maintenance when we checked out. They responded quickly & said they would do that. Would definitely use Blue Ridge Mtn. Rentals again! And would rent the same home again too!

My family & I had a wonderful time staying at Boles Lodge in Blowing Rock Oct. 23-26 2025. We had 4 adults, 2 grandchildren (ages 4 & 2-1/2) & 2 large dogs & there was plenty of room for everyone. We loved the large beautiful stone fireplace & used it 2 evenings since the days had turned chilly. We brought wood from home & ran out first night but found a place opposite Tweetsie RR that sold firewood & had more than enough for our 2nd night to use. Boles lodge had a huge open floor plan that we absolutely loved! This was a legacy trip for us grandparents as we first brought our own girls to Boone when they were younger (several times) to visit Grandfather Mountain & Tweetsie RR. Our grandchildren had a blast & it wore them out so much the second night that we cancelled dinner reservations (we ordered pickup) in order to spend our last evening enjoying dinner at the house & sitting by the fire! The kids enjoyed playing downstairs w/adults on the pool table & ping pong table. The bunk beds were a new sleeping experience for the grandkids & they loved that! The outdoor deck was huge & had a gate so we could “lock” the kids & pups in so they wouldn’t wander by themselves off the deck. There was a nice outdoor raised fireplace on the deck but it was too windy to use it. We loved the privacy that Boles lodge had….it was quiet & very peaceful & only about 5 minutes from Tweetsie RR. I did hear the Tweetsie whistle at times but I love to hear a steam engine whistle since I have a nostalgic fascination w/steam locomotives. We would definitely recommend Boles lodge to families looking for a place to stay in the area. We hope to stay there again in the future!

Thank you for allowing us to stay at Boles Lodge! It was perfect for our family. We had plenty of room to spread out and enjoyed spaces that brought us together. At the house, we enjoyed the game room, s'mores from the fireplace, and ate dinner and played games at the extra large dining table. The weather wasn't perfect but we still enjoyed a day at Tweetsie and some time in Valle Crucis at the Mast Store and park. We saw the deer walk up and down the driveway and saw so many in the clearing below the driveway. The house was great and the service of Blue Ridge Rentals was outstanding too. Thank you, we plan to do this again!

This was a wonderful stay. The cabin is large and comfy, we enjoyed the built in fire place on the deck. The kitchen was well stocked and the kids loved the gameroon in the basement. The location was perfect right between Boone and Blowing Rock. Two thumbs up and highly recommend!!

What a gorgeous house! Very secluded and tucked away, just what our group needed. We were lucky enough to be there during a winter storm, so we felt like we were inside a snow globe. Loved having the nice, expensive basement for games. The only downside was the hot tub wasn’t usable for the first night, but it was operable on our final day. The rental company worked with me to make everything right, so that was a plus. Would definitely recommend this place if going to blowing rock or surrounding areas!

This getaway cabin could not have been more perfect! You are at one with nature, as no other cabins block your view! It snowed while we’re were here, and the outdoor fireplace on the deck was like being in a Hallmark movie! Snow, roaring fire, s’mores and steaming hot tub! What more could you ask for? The kitchen table is massive and seated everyone! Playing board games and sharing laughs around this table makes for great family memories. The location of this house was very central and close to literally anywhere you wanted to go! We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend you to my clients! Thanks for a memorable mini vacay!

We stayed at Boles Lodge for the weekend of a family memorial service. The space was a welcoming, comforting place, and the togetherness we experienced here was a silver lining in a hard weekend. The surroundings were serene, the living room was spacious, the kitchen was equipped, and the outdoor seating area was a great spot for us to gather around the fire.

First of all, the cabin itself was immaculate, roomy, fun, accommodating, and well stocked. We loved the huge dining room table, the ping pong table and the hot tub! Second of all, the location was ideal! Half way between Boone and Blowing Rock. We went out every day with the four grand daughters for all day adventures! I personally loved the landscaping around the front of the cabin - we made fairy homes and set up a badminton net. The rhododendron bushes were blooming all around the driveway and yard. I stay in 2 -3 cabins every year and this is by far the best yet!

Our family enjoyed this very unique family gathering place. Beautiful views of the mountains and woods, a great deck for hanging out, family time in the large living area as well as a great game room downstairs which was a favorite with the teens. Great spot in Boone/Blowing Rock. This is coming from some ASU grads who know the area well and have been returning yearly for 20+ years. This house is awesome. Great location and favorite rental yet. Spacious house with a great kitchen, floor plan, and outdoor fireplace. We’ve rented 5 or so properties over the last 20 years and this was the best!!

The home itself exceeded our expectations in every way and created beautiful memories for our trip to the Blowing Rock/Boone area. The home was clean, beds super comfortable, amenities were as listed, and when the washer needed repairing within 24 hours of our trip, Blue Ridge and the owners made it happen promptly!! Working with the Blue Ridge staff was SO EASY...I understand why they're a "Super Host" on AirBnB!! I WOULD RESERVE THIS HOME AGAIN AND AGAIN!

We had a wonderful stay for my wife's 35th birthday. The cabin was beautiful. We really enjoyed the indoor and outdoor fireplace. The house also has wonderful views, but was not as hard to access as other places we have stayed. We would definitely stay again. The only negative that I could find is backing out of the tight driveway onto the road.

We have been doing an annual friends trips to the mountains of North Carolina for 7 years and this property is our new favorite. Pros: - Great location. The cabin felt totally secluded but was a just a few minutes from town. - The hot tub was big, clean and worked. (the first cabin to ever check all three boxes) - The indoor/outdoor fireplace was great. Did smores one night. - The main sitting area was nice and big and didn't have a TV as the center point of the room. - The dining room table was huge and had plenty of room for everybody and some - The downstairs game room was really nice and had two space heaters built into the wall so we stayed nice and toasty - Master bedroom and bathroom was awesome. I kind of felt bad for having such a sweet room but I did book the place so.... - The trash cans were right at the house and didn't require us to travel to the dump at the end of the stay. Cons (my first thought was none but I did stretch it to get one) - It would have been nice if there were curtains for the windows going out to the deck in the master bedroom. Not a big deal at all. Overall, just a fantastic house and we look forward to coming back. If you are looking for a great place for a large group without spending crazy money this is your house.

The cabin is perfect! Large ground floor open space for hanging out, the HUGE wood table for playing cards and having a few, and the doors leading out to the deck and outdoor fireplace for more socializing. We had a great time and are thinking of coming back! Had some minor garbage left outside the property but the office and maintenance were very accommodating and the cabin didn't suffer for it. The basement is where it's at, with pool, ping pong, and foosball we did not suffer for entertainment! Great property and would definitely come back!

My family thanks Blue Ridge for the service for our get-together at Boles Lodge. Was a most enjoyable place. Very comfortable and serviceable for our family of 10. Very convenient to both Blowing Rock and Boone. We were blessed to be visited every day by a doe and 2 fawns. Our youngest,Katie, was so fascinated. Too, we were visited by 4 wild turkeys. Other surprises included 3 fly-overs by a military jet. Figured there must have been something going on at the stadium at App State. Only thing, the 1st one was so low that my son actually ducked as he was out on the deck. In the many years that I had visited my grandparents, I had never been to "Horn in the West", so we went. Interesting, to say the least. But the most exciting part was a visit by a skunk to the audience - twice. We froze and felt lucky that it was not startled into doing "something." It passed within 5 feet of us, and went on its way. We could tell where it was by the stirring of heads, a low hum of voices, and the quick movement to different seats by some. Had quite a laugh, later. Bless you and your people for all they did to make our stay so very nice.

We had a wonderful time at the Boles Lodge. We will certainly book again for visits to Boone!! Beautiful and great location!!! Please let the owners know we were so pleased with the home!! Thanks!

Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay. I would like to tell you that your firm was a real pleasure to deal with, our requests were handled efficiently and pleasantly. Much to our surprise at checkout time your maintenance people were shoveling our steps and driveway, cleared the road during the snow storm for our safe departure. Kudos for a job well done.
